System Pavers

An excellent experience from the start through to completion. The design of our patio turned out to be twice as nice when finished. Everyone falls in love with the watefall and fire pit. We are outside three times more than in the past. Did someone say smores??;)

We completed our walkway/​entry and lighting project with System Pavers (Redmond, WA) two days before Christmas and cannot say enough good things about the quality, professionalism and timeliness that this contractor showed us. We wanted to do some type of stone work in our front entryway but had no idea what to do and what design to follow, or if we should try to do it ourselves to save money. We had a local landscape/​hardscape contractor give us a concept and a quote but we felt the price was more than what we were getting. Ironically that week we received a flyer in the mail from Systems Paver with a zero interest offer and free design/​quote. We are glad we waited! We had heard of Systems Paver but thought they did only large commercial projects and that we would be lost in the shuffle being a «small» residential project, so we were skeptical. The design professional came to our house as promised and gave us a concept that was in line with our vision for our home. We live on 4 acres of wooded property with a cottage and adjoining cabin and wanted to keep the rustic feel of our place. SP was having a «lighting special» and we thought it might be a hard sell to get us to spend more. We wanted to light up our space but didn’t know how or where to start. System Pavers sent a lighting pro to talk to us, get a sense of what we wanted to achieve and keep in harmony with the wood and fern environment. This was two weeks before Christmas and they promised the entire project would be done in time for the holidays for our family to enjoy. To our delight, the project was completed on the 23^rd as promised! Every phase of the project from design, financing, project management and installation were done very professionally and on a timely basis. We had a drainage issue come up the day after excavation and our project manager and his installation team resolved it immediately. We are very happy with the level of communication and responsiveness from both the walkway and lighting teams. They were great! Our endorsement is not given lightly as both my husband and I have been involved in construction for over 30 years both professionally and in building and remodeling our own homes. Our SP team was A+ and we could not be happier with our walkway and lighting and how it enhances our home. We would recommend Systems Pavers to any homeowner.

I have had work completed 3 separate times over a 4 year period with System pavers and have had a great experience every time. My first job was the biggest, taking out our driveway and entrance to the house. They knew the criticality of access to the garage and front door and worked hard to complete the work on time to get me access to my home. I made a change in the original design and they were very accommodating. In fact, they didn’t even charge me extra because it fit within the material they ordered for me. Weeks later I had a water main break, and I called them because I had thought they might have accidentally caused the issue. They assured me that they did not, but to ease my concern had someone come and pull up the pavers so the city could access the area. It was confirmed that they were not the cause, but they sent a crew and re-​installed the pavers at no additional charge. It’s no wonder I keep going back to System Pavers because I always get the best service and wonderful workmanship. In my recent job (Nov 2015) I made several unexpected changes and I was always engaged with a smile and options to get the design I would be happy with. I admit that I could probably get pavers at a cheaper cost, but I believe you get what you pay for. System Pavers provides a 25 year warranty and am in about 5 years. They have been attentive to respond to any issues I have contacted them with and continue to check in to make sure I am 100% satisfied with the installment results. I don’t have much more areas to pave, but would not hesitate to use them in the future. I have referred them to 2 other friends and both referrals were very happy with the results.

I will never refer my friends to System Pavers. They have failed my expectations in many aspects. Their workmanship was poor. The job was not done as planned, they did not follow the order. The border was not straight, not leveled and the length was off. When I contacted them to correct some of these issues, they often delayed the scheduled date to re-​do the backyard. When they did come, they forgot to fix some of the issues. I kept having to contact them to correct the issues. This process took over 3 months, I had to cancel many parties including graduation and fourth of July. Even now, we could not get them to fix how we want it because it was within their «quality standards». I’m very upset and frustrated everytime I see my backyard. I will never do business with them again.

I needed to replace a stained concrete front porch and 60 yr old sunken brick courtyard. I hired System Pavers. I was concerned by the poor reviews on Unilocal but went with them anyway. Boy am I glad I did! It was a high pressure sale, but that didn’t bother me. Brian was very helpful in designing and helping me choose a color. I loved the option of no interest pmts for a year.
One issue, the date did change 3 times. That was a bit frusterating, but knowing construction, I wasn’t totally shocked. This needs to change. While waiting, I changed my mind. I was afraid it wouldn’t be what I wanted. Brian came back out and worked with me. I decided to go through with it.
It was supposed to take a week. They found that the concrete on my porch was considerably thicker than first thought. Still, it only added 1 day to it. The workers were efficient, knowledgable and when they left, I had nothing to clean up. It was spotless. Wish I knew their names. One was Brazilian and 2 were Honduran. Very pleasant!
One thing I recommend: If they have to break up concrete, they need to put plastic over doors and windows. It took me quite a while to clean up the fine dust that found its way through. The second day, I complained and they immediately covered everything. This is the ONLY reason for 4 stars, not 5!
This huge job took just over a week. The project manager showed up regularly and was awesome. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I LOVE my «new» porch and courtyard!

It all sounded good right from the start. But they over-​promised and under delivered. They started the project in a timely manner but then the completion dragged on forever with many attempts to correct mistakes and oversights. It was never completed in a thorough and satisfactory manner. The follow up was incomplete. The problem seem to stem from the people at the top. Then they offered me a kickback if I recommend them to others. In good conscience I cannot bring myself to subject others to a company that just doesn’t deliver what they claim. The project was certainly not worth what they charged.

This company is outstanding! From Alan Lester our sales/​design person on down to the man who stacked the blocks on pallets everything was extremely professional and quality focused! Our backyard has been absolutely transformed to a place I now want to spend ALL of my time! I very highly recommended this company and thier work.

I cannot comment on their service and I’ll never be able to, because I wouldn’t use this company if they were the last company on the planet.
I filled out a response card, as we have a ton of concrete we are going to need taken out and reinstalled. Biggest mistake of my life. They have been calling and spamming me ever since, in spite of repeated requests to stop. I have told them I’d call when we were ready and they persistently asked when a good time to call back was. I reiterated that WE would call THEM. I just got yet another call from them.
I don’t have time in my life to deal with a company that is so desperate for business that they try to harass it out of customers. Never.

Hired to do simple Dog Turf install. 1000sqft or less.
Salesman professional sold the product well. Nice guy. Promised whenever we wanted for install.
I called and scheduled for 2 weeks after our deposit was taken. No problem they said.
Day 1 «first promised day» We were called the day before to re-​schedule by System Pavers at 4:30pm. Ruined one full day of schedules as we planned to be there and had changed our schedules around for this day.
Day 2 «second promised day» After a Guarantee from the Salesman and Construction scheduler that they would be there.
NO SHOW Again. Called at 10am asking where they were. Song and Dance blah blah Salesman and Manager promised again they would be there and to keep the business gave a poultry discount to us.
Day 3 «3^rd promised day» Conversation with now construction manager. Guaranteed a 8am meeting the next morning with crew to follow at 9am to get job done in 2 days.
Day 3… NO SHOW again. Construction Manager promised at 8am didn’t show or call. We had planned a third day around this company. Telling them we had to leave no later than 8:30am.
Called Salesman and cancelled project. Received deposit back 4 days later.
In fact Hired a different Company and received the Deposit back After the other company completed the work for 20% less money. Same product.
Worst Sub Contractor we dealt with in a 1 year remodel of our home. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Salesman bragged of size of company and how good they were. I fell for it. What a joke.

we worked with Alan Lasater on both of our projects, first on our driveway, which we LOVE! it looked so good our house actually needs a new paint job to keep up LOL. we had this done over the winter, and get compliments all the time. The crew was great and they did such an awesome job.
then we decided to add on a back patio area, we though we’d bid out the pricing on it, and once again, system pavers was able to beat out our other bids,
we are reaching out yet again to see about installing the turf in our yard.
Highly recommend them and really enjoy working with Alan!

The actually product was fine, not great, but not horrible. The experience leading up to it and afterwards was less pleasant. After being subjected to a very hard sell, where the price kept fluctuating, I agreed to the work based on their guarantee. The work was scheduled to start on a Monday, it didn’t actually happen until the next Friday, forcing me to reschedule my work twice. When it came time to pay, the price had changed… not a lot, but enough to make me wary. If you do business with them, I’d get EVERYTHING in writing. The start dates, the costs, the design they are going to use. I will personally never use them again, as I hate being jerked around.

These guys are part of a big national chain, but you would never know it. The service was personal, the results were amazing, and cost seemed reasonable.
We had a cement walkway that sunk and pulled away from our home’s porch. We had quite a few cement contractors give us a bid for fixing the walkway, but all of them said that the new cement would take a long time to match the old (if ever). So we called System Pavers to come out and give us an estimate.
Brian Rose (the salesperson) came out the next day, presented us quite a few options, priced the job and even laid out sample pavers so we could see what they would look like against our porch.
Their price was right in the middle of the cement estimates and the results blew us away.
Our walkway looks amazing. Glad we had them do the work.
