Gleam Floor Care is the Puget Sounds hard surface floor care expert. Gleam Industries — a janitorial services company and the parent company of Gleam Floors — saw a need in 2011 for a floor care company that specialized in hard surface flooring. The vast array of hard surface flooring available to businesses now demands a company devoted to the upkeep and maintenance of the many types and styles of hard surface flooring. From marble to vinyl, terrazzo to tile or concrete to wood, Gleam Floors has the knowledge and capability to make your floors shine like new.

Gleam Floors has clients that range from mom & pop groceries to national fast food chains, local restaurants to international retail outlets, we have veterinaries and clinics that use our services as well as pet stores. Gleam Floor Care can handle a 200 sq. ft. barbershop as well as a 20,000 sq. ft. grocery store (in fact, our crews can burnish up to one million sq. ft. of flooring in a single shift!). Call Gleam!

History

Established in 2011.

Gleam Industries, a janitorial services company based in Renton, saw the need for a company specializing in hard surface flooring. The old ways of cleaning and polishing a floor involved harsh chemicals, hours of scrubbing and rinsing as well as applying slow drying old-​fashioned waxes that last only a couple of weeks before having to be stripped back down and re-​applied again.

With the advent of new finishes and better machines hard surface floors can be stripped, deep cleaned, sealed and finished («waxed») faster and better than ever before. Gleam Floors has low speed scrubbers to ultra-​high speed propane powered burnishers (the Cadillac of the industry!). Gleam Floors can service your floors better, faster, and for less money than anyone else in the business.

Gleam Floors has experienced record growth in the last couple of years — over 500% annually — and we are not even close to being where we want to be! No one will beat our services. We work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Meet the Business Owner

Glenn L.

Business Owner

Glenn Langan, owner and president of Glean Industries (which include Gleam power washing services, Gleam roof cleaning services, Gleam handyman services and Seattle property turnaround management services as well as janitorial and floor care companies) was born in New York City and moved to Seattle in the mid-​seventies with his family. Glenn went to St. Anthony’s in Renton and St. Paul’s in Seattle for grade school. Glenn graduated from Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien. Glenn was co-​owner of Sea-​Tac Pawn & Loan in the 90’s before running outside sales for Pacific Rubber in Seattle. After qualifying (then declining) to become a Seattle Police Officer in 2001 Glenn went back to college to study medicine (and earned a 3.83 GPA in his pre-​med classes). Glenn got married in 2005 to his lovely wife Karrie, started a family in 2008 (Connor) and added to it in 2010 (Mary Grace).

Glenn is an expert mountain climber, skier, woodworker and artist.
