History

Established in 1962.

This agency was founded by Dave Ochenrider and Ben Smith who both started with Allstate in the early 1960’s. The current agency principal is Stephen Marikos, with 37 years of service with Allstate. The office is staffed with three licensed insurance professionals… Irene Dirkx, Kim VanLuven, and Patty Gleason… all with over 15 years with Allstate. The agency is particularly proud to have one of the highest levels of customer retention and customer satisfaction in the Rochester market.

Business Owner

Steve grew up in Champaign, Illinois and earned BS in Business from Eastern Illinois University in 1976. Started with Allstate in November of 1976 in their Home Office in Chicago. Also had managment assignments in Atlanta and then Rochester starting in 1984. Raised three children in Webster, NY and purchased the Allstate agency at Winton and Blossom in October of 2010. Steve volunteers with the Veterans Outreach Center and serves on the Rochester Ad Council Distracted Driver Steering Committee.
