We had a great experience re-​flooring our 2300 sq ft home with Marsh’s Carpet! We spent a few weeks agonizing over what types of flooring, and hunting around different businesses. We went to a few big name companies, and were frustrated with the sales techniques we experienced there. We were going down the row of businesses and on a whim decided to drop into Marsh’s just before giving up, and we’re so glad we did! MIKE IS A GEM. He made our entire experience with Marsh’s go more smoothly than I thought possible. After talking to him, I thought he might be the owner, because he takes care of that shop like it is his own. No, he doesn’t own it, but he’s been there for a long time, and will take good care of you. He helped us figure out that Vinyl Plank flooring in the majority of our house would be a great choice, since we have 4 boys and a swimming pool. The rest of the house is carpet. A year later, our vinyl plank has taken a beating from these kids and still shines. No buckling in spite of the tremendous amounts of water the kids manage to spill for one reason or another. The prices were very competetive, and the installers got in and did the job just as promised.
Now, the icing on the cake. I had picked some Vinyl tiles to put in the bathrooms, and I found a really unique one that I loved. Mike called to let me know it was backordered and not available for a few more months. We wanted to move in, and I really wanted all the flooring done prior to move-​in (remember the bit about having 4 boys? Yeah, we wanted this puppy done before we moved in!). I was disappointed, but came down and picked out a new one, but wasn’t very excited about it. Later on that day, Mike called… he had spent all morning hunting down a similar product, and managed to acquire for me something that was nearly identical, and happened to be an even higher quality tile than I had chosen! I love that he took the time to do that, and has enough contacts in the business that he was able to do so. I think of him fondly when I’m mopping up the bathroom floors after my 2-​year old twins take a bath.
We had an issue or two with install, and it was taken care of to our satisfaction immediately. Mike has even helped me out with a few random questions for carpet care throughout the last year. Marsh’s has a life-​long customer here! Thanks so much guys.

Marsh’s Carpet just completed installing new carpet and vinyl throughout our entire home. After reviewing ½ dozen companies we chose Marsh’s for their professionalism, expertise, length in business, selection, no pressure sales, and of course their Unilocal reviews. Their pricing was not the absolute lowest, but close enough to not matter. We worked with Justin from start to finish, and he took excellent care of our project. We would recommend this company, and will go back again!

I bought Expo Flooring Laminate from Marsh’s, and ONE spilled glass of water made the floor buckle. Keep in mind that I wiped the spill up within 5 minutes. I’ve had laminate before and Pergo doesn’t do that. I hired my own guy to do the installation and he said that with cheaper brands, it’s buyer beware. He said that there are a few good cheap brands, but you have to know what you are doing when it comes to price.
My advice to Marsh’s carpets is to do a better job of screening your products.
My advice to buyers is to bring home multiple samples and dunk the different samples in water for 5 minutes and come back a day later to test the durability. Repeat 2 or 3 times and see if the floor you are going to pay thousands for will buckle.
On a positive note, the people at Marsh’s were nice.

This was the first time I had ever had to do something like buy carpet, so I was a bit unsure how to go about it. We decided to go with Marsh;s carpet after getting a couple different estimates because Mike was so nice!

Never in a million years would any flooring expert say that laminate flooring is waterproof let alone urine proof. Especially Mike. He knows his flooring! If you are looking for great quality flooring look no further. This family owned business will be the last place you go for flooring. They make customers for life. This has been the worst purchase of my life. I went here 2 yrs ago and bought carpet and laminate for my entire house. I’m late striking thus review but I’m new to Unilocal.I thought the salesman seemed very honest and it was gonna be cheaper then Lowe’s. So I felt good about this purchase. I bought high end mid grade carpet. Not even a yr later it was lifting everywhere and u can see the seems all down the hallway. They just cut pieces to fit instead of using a solid piece. It’s like this all over the upstairs. On top of that the carpet is the worst quality I gave ever had. My apartments were better then this! Next my wonderful laminate.. it had a 20 yr warranty. I wanted it in the kitchen so the sales man showed me the high quality one yo get that was water resistant to water and pets. I made sure to ask that and he assured me that it was. Not a month after the floors were in they were lifting and bobbling all over the place. Took 2 months for them to come look only fir them to void out my warranty for testing positive for dog urine. We’ll of course it did it was lifting all over the place and it the was a accident it would seep down. If it was water resistant like he said that shouldn’t have happened. The salesman told me he had never seen this happen and testing my wood and said it starts to lift and bobbles in less then 30min. Well you don’t always see a accident in 30 min now do u?! So how is this water resistant and good for kitchens. It was also doing the same under my couches. So how could any liquid get under there either? To say the least I spent over 5 grand on crap flooring that needs to be replaced and this place screwed me! I was a first time home buyer and I felt totally robbed! Oh wait! That’s right they did that too! My brand new shower head went missing during install! Course I couldn’t prove it and they denied it! Go to Lowe’s people and steer clear of these dishonest people!

I had an outstanding experience with Marsh’s Carpet. I always feel that people are trying to «up-​sell» me when I talk to them, but I felt at ease with Marsh’s Carpet. They did an excellent job installing carpet in our newborn’s room — now the room is complete. I will use them again and recommend them to friends.

We planned to install new laminate and carpet throughout our entire house 2900 sq. foot house. We visited a few stores and talked to some professionals, but everyone I talked to seemed like a typical salesperson and lacked the detailed product information I was looking for. It wasn’t until we visited Mash’s and met Mike that I knew I was in the right place. Mike did a great job giving me the detailed behind the scenes information I was looking for about different laminates and carpets. He was super easygoing, no pressure at all, and truly felt more like a friend than a salesman. Mike helped us pick out the best products for our flooring at a very competitive price (I can say this with confidence).
When it came to the installation, Mash’s installer and his crew did a fantastic job, and clearly took pride in their work. They made sure I was happy with everything and were quick to address the few issues I noticed.
Overall, a great experience with Marsh’s. I will be recommending everyone to them!

We shopped around everywhere for laminate flooring, but we kept comparing everyone to Marsh’s. Not only to they have the best price on materials and installation, they excel at customer service. Mike did whatever he had to do to get us done in time with materials and installation. He even came over to measure before work 30 mins away. I cannot talk enough of this company and Mike! Save yourself the hours of driving everywhere when it comes to flooring and make this your only stop. You will not be disappointed.

Great service, excellent help and fair prices! We needed to expand some laminate in a home we purchased and they were very helpful in assisting us in finding a match. Although we could not determine the manufacturer, we were able to get a VERY close match. We also purchased carpet remnants and had both the laminate and carpet installed. They installers did a great job and even finished our baseboards to a degree I had not expected!!! Thank you!

My husband is a general contractor, who specializes in flooring. We had been buying our flooring for over a year through another store, that we had to stop doing business with due to several extremely unprofessional incidents that occurred with orders and pricing. This other store had actually quoted my husband a price on a specific flooring that he used to write a bid for a job that was accepted. When he went to order the flooring the sales person who quoted him the price then gave us a much higher price claiming he had messed up and he refused to try and fix his mistake. My husband then called around and found the most helpful sales people at Marsh’s Carpet. Michael, at Marsh’s, went above and beyond and actually matched the price the other store quoted us to make sure my husband’s job stayed on budget. Michael was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and honest… a hard combo to find in sales these days! Having dealt with numerous flooring stores for my husbands business, I cannot recommend Marsh’s Carpet enough!

I have been shopping around for carpet for quite a while and had gotten quotes for about 1500sq ft. Of carpet and pad together. Marsh’s carpet had absolutely the best price in town and the best inventory I’ve seen in a carpet store. These guys blow the big box stores outta the water on price, quantity and quality of selection, and service. They had the most helpful staff too! I own multiple rental units that need flooring regularly and I will be going to Marsh’s carpet for all of my flooring needs from now on.

We just had about 600 square feet of carpet installed into a game room. We shopped around a few different locations and settled on Marsh’s Carpet. This is the second time that I’ve used them and we’re glad we did. They were extremely helpful assisting us in finding the right product for us. The installation went seamless and much faster than expected.

The staff at Marsh’s is great! After going through many other stores for laminate with cost + unknown labor costs it was refreshing to get an all in price. They installed my laminate and carpet and the installers didn’t clean it appropriately. Mike and his foreman came out and spent 2.5 hours cleaning the laminate floor to my satisfaction, which allowed me to move in on time. Carpet prices are awesome as well. Amazing service!
