A-One Towing

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY PLEASE DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS TOWING COMPANY! !! These people are liars and criminals. November 28^th i was hit by another vehicle and my car was totaled. I was taken to the hospital because i hit my head and i was bleeding. When i got out of the hospital i was informed my car was taken to A-​one towing but i couldn’t pick up my personal effects until Monday because they were closed. I was assured by the state trooper that worked my accident that i could pick my things up on Monday, however when my daddy and i got there we immediately got attitude from all of the employees. We told them why we were there but the refused to help us. I explained to Sha, the lady behind the counter that the state trooper had assured me that i could pick up my things that day and she replied to me that the trooper did not know the law or how they ran their business and that if i wanted to get my things i would have to pay them for their services which would cost me $ 370.00. I told her that i didn’t have that kind of money and she said that she couldn’t help me because i only had liability insurance on my car. I begged her to at least let me get my work badge and winter coat out of my car as i needed my work badge to get paid and that coat was my only winter coat, and Sha replied that ‘that’s your problem not mine.’ I did get upset and i asked her if she had any idea of what i had been through the last 48 hours and again she replied that that was my problem not hers. When they FINALLY agreed to at least let me see my car, they wouldn’t let my dad go with me and the guy stood there hovering over me as i cried and attempted to take pictures of it. I opened my drivers side door to see inside and the guy standing there said to me ‘hey you can’t take anything outta there.’ At that time my personal effects were in my car scattered everywhere and covered in broken glass. I took what pictures i could and left. The next thing i did was called the insurance company to get my car moved somewhere where i could get my things, but A-​one kept claiming i had not given anyone permission to pick up my car for over a week and that’s not true. It was only when the insurance company did a 3 way call with A-​one and myself that they changed their tune and said ‘oh that car has been released for over a week’ …so who’s lying the insurance company or A-​one? Once my car was towed where i could get my things it was completely stipped. Everything i had in my car or on my car from my winter coat to work equipment right down to the license plates with new car tags gone!!! So i called the police to file a report because i thought maybe someone broke into my car while it was at A-​one because the other company showed me pictures of the car when they picked it up and again, there was nothing in the car. The police officer called and talked to Sha at A-​one and she blamed the other towing company and said my things were still in the car and that they never touched my car. After waiting for the offer to investigate he finally told me that he called and spoke with Sha again and she DID ADMIT THAT THEY CLEANED THE BROKEN GLASS OUT OF MY CAR. But you see, they couldn’t have cleared the glass without removing my things, soooo where are my things? They just magically disappeared? It’s bad enough that my car was totaled because someone hit me, and i was hurt and taken to the hospital, but i trusted this place with my car because they gave me no choice because i live paycheck to paycheck, but they took my personal things. They stole my things, adding insult to injury. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt giving them a chance to tell me if my car was broken into, but they kept changing their story. I have several witnesses that can confirm the articles in my car at the time of the accident including the paramedics and state trooper, but A-​one refuses to cooperate. I have turned them in to the BBB and the Attorney General and i will keep telling everyone i know DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR CAR OR YOUR BUSINESS BECAUSE IF YOU DO I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! THEY ARE LIARS AND CRIMINALS AND THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE SH**!!! (in order to post this i had to give this company one star, but i don’t give it any stars)!!!
