Angelo’s Towing

I called AAA to get my flat tire changed. They told me they would have Angelo’s at my place by 3:25, it was about 2:50 at this point. I received a text message from AAA at 3:00 to tell me the truck was on the way. At 3:05 and 3:06 I missed calls from what I assumed was the tow truck. I called back at 3:09 and did not get an answer, so I assumed they were on the way. Figured I would hear back from them in 20 minutes or so.
4:45 comes around and I didn’t hear anything back. I should have suspected something, but the last time I used the AAA service they came 2 hours later so I really didn’t think much of it (it was a different company at that time). I called the same number again, this time someone answered. I said I was waiting for them to come change my tire, and he told me that they cancelled the service because no one answered the phone earlier. I told him that I called back right away, and he said «you need to call AAA to request a service, they already cancelled this one». My bf got on the phone asking them to come and change the tire, and the guy on the phone told him «she [me] did NOT call back right away». I called back 3 minutes after I missed their call and they didn’t even leave a message.
I know that AAA does not cancel services like that; once the towing company gets the information of the customer AAA is basically out of the picture. I don’t know how AAA communicates with their towing companies, but in the past when something like this happened, I called the towing company and they sent someone back out right away. They did not tell me I had to call AAA. So I kind of feel like it was just a lack of effort. I was also a bit disappointed that when I spoke with the man on the phone, he didn’t say anything about trying to reach me, but when he spoke to my bf he blamed me for «not calling back right away».
I called AAA back asking them to send a different company (they didn’t but whatever), and the actual service was fine. They came in about 15 minutes, fixed the tire change very quickly, no hassle at all. Didn’t get the name of the guy who changed it but he was polite. Its too bad that all of this had to go down, and I can’t say that I blame the towing company 100%; AAA could have some system in place to make sure the services they send out actually get done.
The bottom line is that a service was requested, that service was not completed, someone knew about that (the towing company for sure, possibly AAA as well), and nothing was done about it. Neither party knew that the service was no longer needed, since it WAS still needed. This was definitely not the most professional company I have encountered through AAA.

My car had been acting up and finally just stopped working altogether. I called AAA and they sent Ross from Angelo’s Towing. He is the nicest guy ever. Hopefully I won’t need another tow for a long, long time, but if I do, I know who I’ll call. I highly recommend Angelo’s Towing and definitely Ross. Thank you!

A driver by the name of Ross came to tow my Cadillac and instead of my Saturday being ruined; my day only got better! He pointed out a lever which I had never seen which releases my Ebrake on the spot. I offered to pay with AAA and he simply said, «It was no problem have a nice day.» Angelos Towing is the best!

Over the past two weeks they’ve came out several times jump starting my car. Each experience was pleasant and helpful as the last! They are very knowledgeable and very helpful with providing their personal expertise!

Today started off bad when I ran over a sharp piece of plastic on the freeway.
Nawar came to the rescue when he was dispatched with a AAA call. He came on NASNI and fixed my tire!
I am Totally Satisfied with the service provided.

AAA prides themselves on partnering with companies that offer quality service. This is the 2^nd time I’ve used Angelo’s Towing for a battery problem and the service never disappoints. Bahaa was at my house less than 10 minutes after I called for service, tested the batter, let me know it was under warranty, replaced it, explained the remainder of the warrant in under 15 minutes. He was courteous, friendly, professional and efficient. Thank you for getting my morning back on track so quickly!

Short story is my battery died last evening as a result of me running errands in the morning. I must have mistakenly turned on my headlights while running errands. I returned home at 11:30 A.M. I went to start the car at 5:10 P.M. and it tried to turn over but did not. I had lights on the dashboard. Since I belong to AAA I called them and they dispatched this outfit. Sam showed up and I asked him to check the battery, He did and said the battery was worn out and needed to be replaced. He said he had one and it would be 149.00. I told him to see if he could start it with jumper cables. The car started right up. I let it run for 45 minutes. I turned the ignition off and it started right up. I went to several businesses and it started up without any hesitation each time.
Since I have a mechanic that I trust and have do all of my repairs I went to his shop this morning. Yes, my car started just fine. He tested the battery and said it was at 100%.
It is not only not right that Sam lied to me to make a sale at an inflated price, but just as bad it was unprofessional and unethical. I have contacted AAA about this and now I am putting a heads up to the public.

Bottom line: staff are exceptionally friendly. A bit of a screw up on properly connecting my new battery caused down time and another call to AAA. Shite happens.
Dead AAA battery meant more calls. Finally got Elias, who could see I was a fire breathing dragon at this point of fourth call to AAA.
He jumped into high gear and instead of running to my battery he made a gentleman-​like intro to get me to simmer down. It diffused me immediately. How could I be angry with a blameless «jeep angel» ready to help my Commander breathe again?
While he prodded and tested we talked of food, backgrounds and travel. I was talked off the ledge and he replaced the dead new AAA battery with a new one.
Elias is a nice guy who knows how to communicate with people while giving great service. I have to say that Angelo’s either trains well, hires well or both. Every rep has been great, but Elias stood out because I was fit to be tied by this lemon battery by AAA, and he smoothed it all over by his instinctual ability to diffuse my internal bad battery rage. Thanks man!
P. S. I told him about the specialty ethnic food I’ m so ready to try in El Cajon and he even gave me recommendations while he worked quickly to get my car moving. Total Platinum Service!

Great service from Angelo’s. Called AAA and they sent a diagnostic specialist out first, once it was determined the car needed to be towed he called the truck. Johnnie was so kind and helpful and I hope if I ever need a tow again I get him.

Called triple a… needing a tow or possibly a battery… They stated Angelo towing would send a battery specialist out first to see if that was the problem… they were there within 20 minutes and truck 27 pulled up with a smile an introduction and a hand shake. Elias was very professional He did the diagnostics and replaced the battery in record time ! Even checked the air pressure ! Thank you Elias you are awesome !

Racket? A company that makes their money off other’s pain!!! The car was drivable from the freeway accident. Insisted on towing it off the freeway before we could call AAA. It’s a AAA but still are charging us $ 195 to get our car towed by another AAA Company to auto repair shop. Thieves!!!

Very rude middle eastern guy whom i did not get his name. complaining asking stupid questions instead of just doing his job. would never use these people.

This Company Sucks. Was stranded, by hwy. With motorhome & pulling my classic car, on flatbed trailor. Had AAA insurance. The guy was rude, & said he hadn’t slept in 48 hours, he told me he was doing me a favor, had a 3 hour wait. On a Tuesday night. The story goes on. A living nightmare. Do Not Use this Company. Buyer Beware. They ended up leaving me stranded with no tow. Thank god, for State Patrol.

Excellent service today when my battery expired on me in an area of town I was unfamiliar with. My service provider, Alaa, was fast, friendly and efficient. I was very happy with his customer service and he even installed the new battery for me in a short amount of time. I was on my way in no time.

Moses from Angelo’s Towing was a dream come true! Car wouldn’t start last night after five days away on vacation. Neighbor gave me a jump and I thought I was set until I came down this morning and I saw that the battery died again!
Moses showed up in 15 minutes when they quoted me 30 (love when that happens) and tested my battery before confirming that I needed a replacement.
All for $ 99. I was able to get to work earlier than expected and had a great morning because of Moses and his Angelo’s towing team. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

I felt like the company that quoted my car would cost 1700 to fix was one of those «let’s take advantage of her» places so the tow company driver gave me his mechanics information and guaranteed it would be cheaper.

Great Service! Woke up one morning and my car wouldn’t start. I knew my battery was going out, and this morning it quit. I’m glad I was at home and not stranded somewhere at night. I usually take my car to Acura for maintenance and when I called to get a quote to get the battery replaced, it was about $ 140, and I needed to figure out a way to get my car towed there. Ok… Great…
So I call my AAA roadside service to see if they can tow my car. I was informed that they can tow it for free for x amount of miles, additional costs for further. Or option two, they can send someone to replace my battery on the spot. Really?!? How much? $ 110 with a 6 year warranty. Ok, I’m sold! 30 minutes later Angelo’s Towing arrives and a cutie pie to the rescue! Thanks Angelo’s Towing!
