One should be able to say A BIG FAT ZERO. I cannot in all good work ethic even give this company one star. They charge for the visit, lied to me about the product, told me they’d give me a door in their shop rather than a replacement that they quoted. I called Shalom who repeatedly lied AGAIN. Said he’d call, WHEN HE DID NOT! Finally, after calling him, his installer Chris I finally got a hold of Shalom and told him how shoddy his business practice is. To return the $ 25 dollars FOR NOTHING ~ RIPPED OFF and to this day NOTHING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DO YOUR RESEARCH. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS

Last October, we ordered a garage door from Shalom at GS Doors in San Diego. I emailed the specifics to Shalom – a Cloplay frosted glass garage door – but, we were surprised and disappointed when his team installed a CLEAR GLASS door. Now, our neighbors and anyone passing by on the street can see directly into our garage. More importantly, for the last 14 months I’ve repeatedly called and emailed Shalom and GS Doors to come replace the glass. I’ve spoken with Shalom a few times when I happened to reach him ‘live’ (usually, I’m able to leave a voicemail only and he never returns my calls) a few times. Shalom promises to call me back with a quote (yes, that’s right – I have to PAY to have the correct glass installed), but 14 months later I have yet to receive the quote or schedule a date/​time to have the correct glass installed.
I highly recommend you do not do business with this company. While I found Shalom to be a friendly person, his lack of follow-​through and misleading promises leave me very dissatisfied with our garage door and his company/​service.
