Luxury Auto Body of Miramar

We were referred to Luxury by our insurance company after a rainy day accident. Despite it being a Friday, Ron was able to fit our Subaru WRX on the lot.
Though the repair process took longer than we would have liked, we were thankful for the incredible attention to detail Ron and his team paid to our vehicle.
Ron made a point to call and keep me in the loop with everything that was going on and how the processes was moving along. He was honest, open and truly made us feel like we were a priority. We enjoyed the customer service and quality of work here so much we’d continue to use them over the Subaru dealer closer to us.
Thank you again everyone at Luxury. You guys were fantastic and I support you 100%!

I have had my car repaired three times at Luxury Auto Body (cosmetic and mechanical) and each time, the service was outstanding. My expectations were not only met but exceeded. A few years ago, I had to bring my car to Caliber Collision and the service was incomparable to the service I received at Luxury Auto Body. Cannot recommend Luxury Auto Body as high as they deserve. We are in our 80’s and have USAA auto insurance. They recommended Luxury Auto Body. Everyone we talked to and dealt with were courteous and helpful. They answered our calls and gave us definite answers. There were delays due to part orders which they explained and took care of. The General Manager Ron Melanson made us feel well taken care of. He himself delivered our car to us in sparkling condition inside and out. We were without a car for about 3 weeks and were completely satisfied with our experience. Diane P.

I would like to update my last review, Ron, the GM called me personally after reading my initial review and apologized for my experience with the body shop. I really appreciated the phone call and the conversation we had, it meant a lot to me.
I’m changing my 1 star to a 3 star with intentions of giving this body shop another shot. Hopefully, I’ll be able to experience the service others have had and will update again with a 5 star. Thank you Ron & Mike!

I had my bumps replaced on my brand new Honda Accord with less then 500 miles on it. Needlessly, I was concern if my car world look as brand new. Luxury Body shop did a fantastic work and on time that I could not be happier. In addition, Mike Landecker, the estimator was excellent in customer service and very helpful with advice in dealing work insurance. I could tell he is experienced in industry and up to par with caring about his customer’s needs. I just can’t say enough good things about Mike. I will bring all my future auto body work to this place and ask for Mike.

I got rear ended and the person at fault had really crappy insurance. I took my car for an estimate and they told me they would deal with the insurance company if more time was needed to fix my car. When I took my car in Ron was there and was super nice and helpful. He even offered to get me a car rental. I felt more at ease about the process. Their customer service and their work is top notch. I really appreciate them for fixing my car really quick and doing a great job!

I took my sister’s car over there during July 4^th long weekend. It was a 2 year old Lexus; I recklessly backed it up without realizing that the car was close to the side walk; the front bumper and thick rubber underneath it, popped out.
Not a pleasant scenario and Lexus parts are damn expensive than my regular Honda parts.
Stopped at Luxury auto body on Friday morning. They took 20 minutes to put the brackets/​pins around «thick rubber» and attaché it to the bumper area; they also drilled a hole at the bottom of the front bumper to hook it up to the body with the screws.

Nordstrom service! Got my car keyed in passengers’s side-​all across. Very stressful since i had my BMW for less than a year. Done by some teens… nevermind… Makes me all angry again. State Farm had Luxury Auto as their provider so why not check them out? Was worried since The color was a non standard color but Luxury Auto did an A+ job on it! Mr. Graf, the young man was so helpful every step of the process, from calling for an appt, checking with rental car service, picking up my car. He is honest, which is most important to female customers when it comes to car work. My car was left at the shop that day when i went in for estimation. They made a stressful situation… more bearable! I will definitely (hopefully never though) use them if need and highly recommend them!!!

A reckless driver cut me off out of nowhere and I hit them from the back. My car wasn’t totalled but still had damages. Went to the Luxury auto body shop because it had a great ratings. So I gave it a shot after dropping it off Ron and his team did EVERYTHING for me didn’t have to do any single thing! In less than 2 weeks I got my car back like it was brand new! All the things he had to replaced in my car was all original! He even did a price match to make everything cheaper Ron was amazing!
On top of that Ron told me to come back after 3 weeks to wax it for free! And I had a huge favor if they could clean up the stains on my seats and they did for FREE! Going there was soo worth it! I loved it!

Somebody crashed into my rear bumper making it aesthetically unappealing to look at it. I took it in initially to Luxury autobody on Aero Drive. I met Kenny who was extremely professional and he took care of all the paper work. He estimated it would be done within a week but said he might send it up to the Miramar location to get it done faster.
I WAS VERY FORTUNATE because my car was in the hands of Ron (manager) and his team. Honestly, Ron personally called me and went above and beyond. He saw a broken tail light that would normally cost me 200 dollars from the dealership and found a replacement (and replaced it with no charge). I’ve had excellent customer service before, but Ron and his caring team provided LEGENDARY service.
Also, the quoted 1 week was reduced to less than 2 days! Top notch!
Not only did they repair my damage and replace my tail light, but cleaned up my car to where it is enjoyable to ride again. I will take a picture when I get a chance but the finish looks as if I got a new car again!
You guys can personally message me and ask my personal testimony. I stand by Ron and Kenny’s team 100 percent. I even created a brand new Unilocal account (lost my old one) just so I can make this review. Quality service guys!

This place is amazing! I brought my car in for an estimate after it was in a small accident and while I was waiting in their lobby, my car was rear ended in the parking lot. The general manager, Ron, caught the whole thing and helped me with getting the guy’s insurance and everything since I wasn’t around when it happened and don’t have much experience dealing with this (I wasn’t in the car during the 1^st accident). Even though the guy who hit me ended up giving us false insurance information, Luxury Auto Body repaired the extra damage for me free of charge.
So not only did they help me with the extra repair, but they did a great job with the original damage. I got my car back with a fresh wash and you can’t even tell that it’s been in any accidents. And Ron checked in with me about the car’s updates frequently so that I knew exactly what was happening. He even offered to arrange a rental for the days that my car was being repaired. As a young woman who’s pretty much inexperienced with anything car-​related, it was great knowing that I could trust this shop to do a great job without taking advantage of me.
I will definitely be bringing my car back to Luxury Auto Body for any future repairs. They were friendly and professional and I can’t thank them enough for their service.

Ron and his team are amazing! Not only are they professional and experts at what they do, he really goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.
Both my husband and I have, unfortunately, had to have work done on our cars. Fortunately, they have consistently shown their capabilities for impeccable work. And it’s nice to see that friendly customer service can still be found.

I can’t thank these guys enough for all their care and professionalism when it came to my car. I went through a car wash at the Shell off if Miramar blvd right by best buy. Which I will never ever do again nor will they receive any more business of mine. As I exited the car wash something from the blower latched onto my roof rack, ripped it off and bent the roof. Which evidently is my fault haha according to Shell (whom I am taking through small claims court). Through the whole process the guys at luxury auto body of Miramar made me feel like family which is nice when everyone in ca seems to care nothing but themselves. I am continuing to use their professional service and recommending their business to anyone who needs professional care and assistance. I am completely satisfied with their care and time put in to help me out.

Hunny got his Mustang rear ended and this shop was on the service first list for State Farm (our insurance) so we went ahead and chose it– more for the location. They did an awesome job tho! We also asked that they not replace the vinyl race stripe on the bumper so they took the difference in cost and applied it toward our deductible! Awese quality honest work… Oh and my hubby’s wedding ring was left in the car (he forgot it when it fell off onto floor) they detailed the interior and placed his ring in the middle console.

My baby was rear-​ended on my way to work one day, and the driver was insured through State Farm. Luxury Auto Body was one of the auto shops approved and recommended by State Farm. I was hesitant at first, but after seeing the reviews, decided to give this place a try.
I took my car in for initial inspection on a Friday and the service was very friendly yet professional. I informed Luxury Auto that my dad would be dropping off my car for me since I couldn’t take time off work. They were more than accommodating and noted my dad’s name as well as the insurance claim number. My car was dropped off the following Monday and it was pretty much smooth sailing from there.
My rear bumper was replaced and repaired by Thursday, so within 3 days, and my car came back almost brand new. It had needed a wash before, but when I got it back, it looked absolutely pristine and spotless: what a pleasant surprise!
The repair work was perfect, and I am beyond satisfied with the service. So glad that the damage was taken care of and that I didn’t have to worry much throughout the process. Luxury Auto finished within the estimated time frame and called me when repairs were completed so that I could go the following morning to pick my car up.
They also handled and scheduled my insurance-​provided Hertz rental car for me, so I didn’t have to fret about that either.
This was pretty much the easiest, least stressful repair work I’ve ever had done on my car. I highly, highly recommend Luxury Auto Body. Amazing service and outstanding repair work. They took care of my car as if it were their own.

It sucks to have your brand new car sideswiped in front of your house by a not-​yet 16 year old driver whose mom would really like to avoid having a claim go through insurance. On the bright side, at least they left a note.
This was what I woke up to one morning. My car had not even had its first oil change yet, and now it was missing a side-​view mirror, had a dented fender, damaged rim (I love my rims), paint damage, and needed a new clear bra. And I would be needing a rental car during the repair work.
I was nervous about not going through insurance as I didn’t want to be out of pocket. I didn’t want to get an estimate and then find out that the actual cost was higher when the repairs were complete. I didn’t want to have to beg this mom for more money after the first check she wrote me.
Ron at Luxury Auto Body of Miramar took care of me. I found him because they are a State Farm approved repair shop, and if the big boys use them they must do good work. I told him my situation, and he took the time to write up a very detailed and accurate quote. He even did additional research when I noticed that the side view mirror part didn’t look quite right (wasn’t the heated version with auto-​dim). He made sure that I wouldn’t have to go begging for more money when the repair was completed.
It took about a week for all of the parts to arrive, and then they took care of the rest. I’m a bit over-​protective of my car, and they did a great job. I would definitely return for any other auto body repair needs.

I’ve had the misfortune of having to come here more than once. The first time State Farm referred me here and it was so easy. Showed up, dropped my car off and it was taken care of. Ron and the team kept me updated the whole time. AND my car was ready 2 days early!
They also offer a lifetime warranty on all of their repairs. A few months down the road a plastic clip on the body work broke and they replaced it for free! Everyone is super nice and Luxury is exactly how this place feels and operates.

My car was involved in a fender-​bender in a local parking lot recently, so I checked out a list of State Farm-​approved repair shops and picked Luxury. I was not disappointed!
Their customer service was exceptional. They explained everything well, called me with updates as work progressed, and delivered the car on-​time and at the estimated price. No bad surprises. I also appreciate that they arranged for a rental car to pick me up and drop me off, so I didn’t have to bother my wife for transportation. Another good point of service is that they got me in on my first visit — I thought I was going to have to take the car home and come back another day. Even though they were busy, they made room.
The quality of work was also exceptional. The only way I could tell what had been worked on and what hadn’t is because the rest of my car is so beat up by door dings and such. The area that they fixed is the nicest part of the car now!
Also, note that I am pretty discerning and not one to be taken. I’ve had a lot of cars undergo a lot of work over the years, so I know the questions to ask and what to inspect for. They passed all my tests. The paint blend was perfect — metallic paint like my car can be hard to match, but they nailed it. I inspected it carefully in direct sunlight and there is absolutely no way to tell where the new paint transitions to the old paint. Also, they replaced all the body parts — no body filler was used, which is a pretty big deal.
Finally, they have a lifetime warranty on their work. if anything reveals itself in the future, I know I can just take it back to them for a free fix. My only issue with the warranty is that it’s non-​transferrable. I was considering dropping a star for that last bit, but decided against it.
Overall this was a great experience and I’m planning on getting more work done at Luxury in the future.
