Great place. Owners are super friendly, beer selection is pretty good. One of the only places in PB that sells Grapefruit Sculpin in singles, among other things. We go to this place over Chip’s Liquor because those folks assign prices randomly, and they are more friendly here :)

Best liquor store in PB. These guys are super friendly, the prices seem to be below average, the selection is great, and you can always have a nice conversation before you leave. I usually go there in the afternoons so I always see Malot (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong), he is very friendly and seems to know everybody because people are always coming in to talk to him. This place is down to earth, respectful, fair on prices and if you want something they do not have they will order if for you. If you are in PB and need to visit a liquor store than this is the one.

Best liquor store in north PB. They have a great beer and wine selection and even have build your own 6 pack option. The owners are super friendly and always greet me when I stop by. It is a bit more expensive than Von’s or cvs but I would rather give my money to these guys.

Never thought I would be writing a review for a liquor store, but this place is just that good! Everyone who works there is awesome personally and professionally. They have a great selection including a vaaaast amount of unique and obscure craft beers. Also, there’s been a (very) few times they didn’t have what i wanted, but upon my return saw that they had ordered what I wanted especially for me. Malaud is awesome, always remembers details about his customers and is amazingly friendly and overall awesome. Five stars for jug liquor!

Jug is the best liquor store in PB! Outstanding collection of craft beers … I literally stare at the options for 10 minutes. Wine, hard A, etc like any other liquor store would have too. Great husband/​wife team ownership!

Having lived in that neck of the nape for awhile I can attest that, since adding more doors, the beer selection is twice as good. The guy that usually works there is genuinely one of the nicest guys I have ever met, and if you want to order a specialty, hard to find beer, you have a good chance they will order it for you… Some of the beer specials are priced to party…

Friendly and carry the Hard Cider I like. Nice neighborhood liquor store.

this place is legit, and they carry my favorite Louisiana beers and the man asked me how many 6 pack of strawberry abita i would like for my next trip in. my go-​to liquor store!

Best craft beer selection in town at this place.
I used to live in the area and this place always beats the grocery store or 7-​eleven.
This place is responsible for me finding out when the Big Wave from Kona would be sent to the states.
Always a great selection of reasonably priced beer which is bad for people like me who cannot make up their mind on what to buy since it is all new and looks good.
The guys that work here are nice but my only complaint is the card fee if you do not pay in cash. Not the biggest disaster but an annoyance.
Check this place out if you are in the area or want micro brews from all over.

Really the only reason I go here is because its across the street from my house, but every time I go I hate myself for giving these guys my business, my loyalty will always lie with a true beer store like the olive tree market in ob. Ya, they have good beers but the guys there haven’t a clue other than knowing the names of whats popular right now. Their specials suck and they always try and push total shit that no one wants but they probably have too much of. I decided to write this review tonight after walking to get a Green Flash Palate Wrecker and seeing these guys finally got their greedy little paws on a batch of Pliny that that have priced at $ 6.99 a bottle, «yes, you like my friend?»

Great selection of beer and wine including micro/​craft brews that are typically difficult to find. They also use their ice cream freezer for freezing a selection of liquor, a detail that I appreciate.
Minus half star because they sometimes don’t follow the posted sale prices at the cash register unless you mention the sign.

always try to get my refreshments there instead of the 7 – 11 next door. carry pretty much everything u could want to get your drink on. also have a good selection of wine. super friendly staff, have no idea how they can remember everyone’s name who comes in. be sure to say hello to Milan or Mark behind the counter.

Best that you can get… especially in PB. Jug has a wide range of wines, liquors, and beers. Always friendly service with a smile. Love that I live around the corner from this place.

Owned by the same family that owns the Magic Market. Small, but good selection of beers. Reasonable prices. Open late.

Jug liquor is the best.
I went there to buy a water bottle,
then I saw my friend on the shelf, Jim, then I saw Jack taunting me, the Capitan said Arrrrr too. I looked at the other shelf and I remembered about all the fun times in Tecate. Lastly, I decided to go straight for the Skyy and I was not disappointed last night… hahah good times at Jug Liquor.

Very friendly place with great prices. If you have a debit/​credit card make sure you use credit or there is a small ATM fee.

The name says it all. This is a PB liquour store. The current owners bought it from a guy who is pretty active in grass roots SD politics and kept the name. Their wine selection is pretty impressive and the prices are good. The current owners are the same guys who own the Magic Market (one of my favorite local stores) on Cass and Law. I usually try to support the local shops rather than the 7 – 11 next door to Jug.
