I am extremely happy with the service that I have received from Tranquil Home! They have excellent customer service and strive to make sure that all of my expectations are met. Cleanings are efficient yet attentive to detail. I highly recommend Tranquil Home!

This company seemed to be great in the beginning. I had a guy coming out and cleaning, then he got hurt and had to take off from work so they sent another woman out, and they wanted to know how she was. I emailed them back and said she didn’t clean my house very good. Never at any time did I say anything bad to the woman. Then they told me that they got her response and she said she left crying and threatened. She cleaned my downstairs which has very expensive stuff in it while I stayed upstairs with my dog in the office. They said they didn’t want to clean for me anymore. What is the world coming to when a company tells a customer they were wrong and they were in the right. I will never use them again and I would recommend anyone think twice about using them in the future.

I came across this company on Unilocal based on all the great reviews, I gave them a call and Spoke with Mariela at the office. She was really nice and helpful and booked me with an appointment. I must say I am very pleased with both the service and actual cleaning and the customer service. You can only imagine what my placed looked like with two toddlers boys running around, Well they completely transformed my house and left it spotless. I would definitely recommend this cleaning company to my friends, family and Unilocalers too.

I read the stellar reviews and figured why not. So I enlisted their services in doing a pre-​clean move. I spoke with the owner Nicola who helped arrange the date for me because it was last minute and I thought that was nice. My wife and step-​daughter have bad allergies and we asked them to pay close attention to the dust on the boards, blinds etc. Unfortunately, the cleaning didn’t wow me at all. When the cleaning ladies left we wiped a few spots that shouldn’t have been overlooked and they were dusty.
Even though we weren’t happy with the cleaning we thought maybe it was an anomaly so I called up and spoke to someone (not Nicola) about perhaps doing a weekly cleaning. When she asked how my last cleaning went I told her it was awful and she didn’t apologize, she didn’t try to rectify the issue, she simply stayed quiet *crickets*. At that point I put my wife on the phone to discuss weekly cleanings and was given a pretty outrageous quote.
Initially I had called looking for a service to replace the one I’m currently with however after the cleaning we had our regular cleaning company come in and give it another cleaning.
One thing that frustrated me was that while looking for companies they sent a representative over to do an estimate. However, when dealing with Tranquil it was over the phone and when speaking to two different people I received different quotes.
In the end we reluctantly stuck with our current cleaning service. It’s unfortunate it didn’t work out with Tranquil considering I gave them plenty of opportunities to wow me via phone and in person.
***Update. 2÷2÷16 Nicola, the owner did reach out to me via email and apologized and tried to rectify the situation. She was extremely professional and wanted to make it up to me. I appreciate Nicola’s effort and am very pleased with her response. I understand mistakes happen and sometimes some companies and consumers aren’t meant for each other and that’s fine. I had the experience I had but Nicola did try to make it better and sometimes that’s all you can ask from a business. I appreciate Nicola’s effort. Thank you.

I’m shocked to read some of the negative reviews on here. We have used many cleaning services in the past for both our home and our rental properties. Once we found Tranquil Home, our constant battle to find a good, reliable, cleaning service ended. Everyone that has shown up for jobs from TH, has shown up on time, performed their jobs timely, and left our properties in excellent super-​clean condition (smelling wonderful. and not like you stepped into a vat of bleach, yuck). I appreciate their conscious use of eco-​friendly products, as long as those products work, and so far, I’ve never been disappointed!

The cleaning was amazing! This was my first time hiring a company to come out and clean my home, so I was a little nervous, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I called, the office staff was great and made it so easy for me! The cleaner that came to my home did an amazing job and made sure all of my expectations were met. Overall, I am very thrilled with their service! I highly recommend them and will be calling again!

I can’t express how impressed I was with Tranquil Home’s amazing cleaning experience! I have hardwood floors throughout my house and they were cleaned so well that they were shiny again! The attention to detail that was taken in cleaning the baseboards was amazing! The cleaning products used smelled wonderful and are environmentally friendly; one product had the power of the magic eraser and took off all the sticker residue and crayon from my walls. Service was fast and friendly and I trusted the lady in my home. She also cleaned my blinds which I didn’t request. I highly recommend Tranquil Homes and can’t wait to book another cleaning! You should look no further in a cleaning experience!

Okay. The place is clean but I hate having to clean after I just PAID someone to clean. There were crumbs on the counter top, she left her dirty rags on the counter top, toothpaste in the sink and the shower was clearly not cleaned. Overall disappointing and will just do it myself next time. Thanks but no thanks…

Brenda and Jen did a great job. They got there early, worked tirelessly, and even cleaned 10 minutes past her scheduled ending time (but did not charge extra). I’ll be calling them again.

I initially hired Tranquil to do a one-​time deep clean of my house. Nicole did such an amazing job I have decided to have her come in every two weeks to clean my house. First, she was incredibly courteous and professional. She arrived on time and we so incredibly nice. Second, she did an amazing job on my house and was incredibly efficient. Love this company!

Absolutely great. I was able to call and schedule a cleaning at the last minute. The cleaner that came out was polite and courteous. He moved things around to clean under, which I really appreciate. He also was able to turn our foul smelling sink drain lemony fresh. Oh, and he cleaned our foul state of affairs toilet back to near white.
The only thing keeping me from a 5 star, and I’m not sure anyone offers this, a thorough cleaning of cat hair from blankets and furniture. Get me that and I’ll be singing your praises all day long.

I had never used a cleaning service before and was very skeptical because I have pretty impossible standards for how I clean my home. But Tranquil Home far exceeded my expectations! The cleaner was right on time and followed all of my cleaning instructions to a T. I work from home so was in my office during the entire cleaning and was amazed at how quickly and efficiently he moved from room to room. He finished an hour earlier than what I was quoted and everything, I mean everything, was spotless! I inspected everything with a fine toothed come after he left and literally couldn’t find anything he missed… and the speed with which he did everything still blows my mind! I even have several shelves with lots of small crystal pieces on them that I was sure he wouldn’t completely dust around, but they were dust free! I will definitely be using their services for all of my cleaning needs!

Beware — they charge PER PERSON per hour.
The comments I have are not in regards to their actual cleaning service but their pricing and billing. I hired Tranquil Home to clean my rental house after 2 weeks of construction work was done so the tenants would feel comfortable in a clean environment when they returned. The tenants were pleased but I am not. Although I haven’t seen the inside of the house yet, I have received an email with a link to see the invoice. First off, I noticed they were finished in half the time which was great but then I see the invoice is for 2 people at $ 40 per hour. To the best of my knowledge, this information was not divulged to me ahead of time nor does their website indicate it either. Instead of «per labor hour» they should list «per laborer per hour» or something to indicate you are paying $ 40 an hour per person. Secondly, I am not about to pay online using the same link with a big PAY NOW button. I had to use an application to capture the invoice details since it is not possible to highlight then copy/​paste. I feel deceived and called Erin to let them know about both grievances.

This review is long over due. Tranquil Home REALLY came through for me a few months ago. I needed a move out cleaning done and totally left it to last minute as I was so preoccupied with all the other things. I called them at the end of the week and they squeezed me in for a next day, a Saturday cleaning. Keith was my cleaner and he was seriously great. Really friendly, super efficient, and very professional. He did all my blinds, which were pretty bad. We did a walk through at the end and it looked great. They gave me a discount for liking them on Facebook. Really appreciate how quickly they moved both on scheduling, and the actual cleaning. Will definitely use them again, and highly recommend if you need a move out cleaning.

Wow. Just wow. There are no words for how impressed I am. I was a little skeptical at first because their Unilocal reviews seemed almost too good to be true, but they have earned every star and then some.
Andrea arrived 10 minutes early and was very friendly and attentive to my priorities. Although I was only charged for 4 hours (first-​time cleaning) Andrea busted ass from 11:30 to 5, and Lillia also came to assist. Every possible surface is shiny – even my kitchen appliances (rice cooker, coffee machine, etc.)! My kitchen sink was yellowing before but now it’s white! My bathrooms are immaculate. I would never have been able to do as deep of a clean on my own.
Lillia did a thorough walk through with me before leaving to make sure I was happy with the results. The quality of service is worth every dollar.

Well, far be it from me to destroy Tranquil Home’s perfect 5 star rep on here and luckily I don’t have to! Their work was impeccable.
I had them do a clean out move over a year ago here in OB. They did a fantastic job. One girl, she was done in about 4 hours on my 1 bedroom house. Unfortunately, they accidentally charged me twice on my debit card. Could have been a minor disaster, but it was not only corrected immediately with profuse apologies by owner, Nicole, but she offered to do a free housecleaning for me whenever I was ready after I moved.
Well, I moved into a studio for a temporary place, and didn’t feel as if I needed someone to do that for me.
Fast forward to 13 months later, and I’m in my new, 2 bedroom, 2 bath place, and now am somewhat incapacitated from arthritis and it’s hard for me to clean now. She even emailed me in the middle of all that to remind me I still had a free house cleaning. Nice.
Last week, she sent Jenna to clean my place. I never even warned them I was now upgraded to a much bigger place. Jenna didn’t bat an eye. She wanted me to show her around and tell her anything I wanted her to concentrate on. Other than the usual dusting, vacuuming and washing floors, I wanted the shades dusted in two rooms, they were pretty filthy. Done. And done really, really well.
Jenn was a doll in that she even rearranged some stuff making it easier for me. I know some don’t like that, but I loved it and needed it.
I would not hesitate to have Tranquil clean my place again, and would refer them to everybody.
Even though my boyfriend is about to move in with me from New York and he actually likes to clean, we said we’ll have to have them do a deep clean every couple of months since we’re both getting older now and none of that stuff is too easy for us anymore.
Great service, great prices and great work!
