Great experience working with Techpro!

I highly recommend this place. In early 2016, our heater went out. It was freezing. Called Techpro Builders in the early afternoon and our heater was working in hours. The phone call was painless. The service tech called before arriving and was very professional. My kids are usually scared of strangers, but this time was an exception. The technician was very warm. The repair was done quickly and the experience was very transparent. They described what was wrong and were willing to share information. There was no hidden costs and they were very receptive to answering questions. Again, I highly recommend working with them.

Can’t be more pleased with Techpro Builders. Our air conditioner went on the fritz last year and we held off fixing it thinking it would cost a fortune. This year we decided to at least check it out and called Techpro. Turns out the problem was just a loose fuse — thankfully. We decided to swap out the thermostat while we were at it since it was not the best. Whole job was done well within our budget and we appreciated the courtesy and timeliness of TechPro. We wouldn’t hesitate to call them back.

My first experience with Techpro Builders has left a lasting impression. They were quick and efficient with my project. Price was fare and any questions I had were answered quick. I will be referring them to others, and working with them in the future. As a general contractor, I couldn’t of been happier to work with Karen, Armen, and their crew.

Techpro is great. The job was the purchase and installatio of an oven hood. Garen helped me tremendously by explaining that I did not need to buy the blower, because I could re-​use the existing one. That saved me quite a lot of money.
When he came to do the installation, he was very thoughtful. The issue was that the old duct work was not consistent with modern hoods. Instead of having down-​time for my oven, and more expense, he suggested that he coud modify the hood (cut through metal) to make it all work.
Presto! One hour later, I was back in business.
I recommend Techpro and Garen to all.

I can’t fully express how happy am I with Garen! First of all, he made an extreme effort to visit me on a very short notice and then within less then half an hour the issue was resolved and heater was back to work.

This is the company to call for heating and air conditioning! my heater broke in Jan, when it was the coldest part of winter. I waited weeks just to get an estimate everybody i called said it would be at least 2 weeks before anybody could come out. this was the 3^rd on my list (I found them on Unilocal) and the first company to show up. They hooked me up with an asbestos removal company and then they went to work. They even took there shoes off every single time they came in the house. they did such a beautiful job, all new ducting and everything, new registers it looks great! I have never had the heat in my house work so good!!! I love it! then in the middle of all this I decided I wanted air conditioning also so they got that installed. These guys are great, they explained everything, they were neat and clean, they showed up everyday at the same time, worked all day. You know how it is when you hire someone then they disappear for a few hours or even days , I don’t think they even stopped to eat lunch. You will never find a better price anywhere let alone a company that cares about the work they do. So rip up all those other estimates you got and call Garen!!!

My heater broke so I called and spoke with Armen. Both he and Garen were very nice. Garen came out that afternoon and ordered a part which he installed today. Very thorough and explained the problem clearly. Price was competitive. Very pleased with Techpro!

Very professional and friendly service from Armen and his crew. Replaced our broken water heater in a very short time. Also, fixed a plumbing issue. I will certainly use their service again if required!

Garen, his son, Armen, and their team provided absolutely OUTSTANDING service and quality of workmanship. Garen is a professional engineer; he made very wise recommendations for improving the efficiency of our system. The installation was complicated, but the lead installer, Michael, does exceptional work. Techpro provides the kind of reliable, honest service we all expect from family-​run operations. They were a pleasure to work with and the cost of our system was very reasonable when compared to the other bids we received. I give Techpro my very highest recommendation!

I had a wall heater go out on a tenant right after Christmas. I called almost everyone in town but many people were either not answering the phone or could not help me for at least two weeks. When I called Techpro they answered and were able to fit me in their schedule. In about 5 days they had come out and installed a new heater. Best of all, Armen was a pleasure to work with, the quality of the installation was superb, and their price was very reasonable when compared to another quote I had received.

The (11 yo) Carrier heater at my parents home was having problems, the four burners would turn on but shut down after several minutes. I tried cleaning the flame sensor but it didn’t fix it. I’ve called over 2 dozen company’s on Unilocal but majority were 1 – 2 weeks out on appointments or didn’t service my area (peninsula), but I finally reached Armen at Techpro and even though he had a booked schedule, he really went above and beyond to contact me later the same day to let me know that he can have someone come out. Replaced the run capacitor with the charge being very reasonable and heater works again. I also really appreciated his prompt communication and follow-​up throughout.

Techpro was just at the (very) old place that my family rents today. Our original floor furnace from probably more than 50 years ago went out during the night last night. We called the realty company who manages the property and they directed us to call Techpro, not knowing if they could get someone out on short notice on a Saturday right after a holiday. All their driver techs were out on calls for the day so Garen came himself with another technician and had the heater running again within about 15 minutes.
Garen crawled into the tight and damp crawlspace under the house himself to fix the recurring wiring issue. He said he would suggest a more permanent solution to the landlord on our behalf as well. We were very happy with their speed, service, and knowledge.

Armen was a delight to work with. He was a professional, knowledgable, friendly and got the job done quickly and painlessly. He didn’t try to up-​sell on products that I didn’t need. I would use him again and again.

We had a large tree fall on our house damaging the clay tile roof and gutter system. TechPro Builders did a great job of immediately coming over to assess the damage and secure the roof so no water damage could occur. They quickly proposed an estimate and scheduled to have the work done. The crew did a great job of communicating every step of the process. The clay roof and cooper gutter system looks great. The cooper gutter took a tremendous amount of craftsmanship due to the radius of the house. The TechPro team did a great job!

These folks are amazing. I was surprised to find that they were RIGHT ON TIME! Also they didn’t try to low ball the price to get the job and were extremely honest. Armen was very professional and knew what he was doing. They also left the area cleaner than they found it. I highly recommend this company.

We deal with contractors almost every day, but it’s hard to find true professionals like Garen and his team. Unlike other contractors, Garen does not push his product and provides you with options. Moreover, he explains to you what needs to be done and what can be done. His construction knowledge is superb. We HIGHLY recommend techpro builder!

Garen and his son are a terrific team! They are top-​notch problem solvers. The quality of their work is as good as can be found. In Marin, we have been satisfied clients for ove15 years. Garen and Armen from Techpro Builders are true professionals. Very helpful and friendly individuals who know what they’re talking about and are not looking to make a quick buck. We had some issues with our heating and cooling systems at work, a different HVAC specialist recommended to us that we needed to completely replace our units. I contacted Garen for a second opinion and he came over and provided a fix that was ¹⁄₁₀^th of the cost of replacements. Techpro Builders are my go to guys and cannot recommend them enough.
