A skillful and accomplished mortgage professional, Christopher Fenoglio approaches his business with an intuitive and innovative mind-​set. Chris launched his financial career as a personal banker in 2001, and after working alongside a mortgage representative, he built a strong foundation of knowledge that enabled him to propel to the position that he is at today. As the branch manager of the Seal Beach office of Alpine Mortgage, Chris prides himself in maintaining an honest reputation centered around exceptional customer service and expertise. In addition, Chris is backed by the support of an extraordinary team of experts which allows for a proactive and well-​organized work flow to successfully complete any given task at hand.

Chris was referred to us by our Builder when another lender stated we wouldn’t be able to qualify. He was able to give us varies scenarios to get the loan through. Chris was always responsive and willing to answer any questions, even on weekends. He is very knowledgeable and gets to the point. When our former lender informed us that the «pre-​approved» FHA (new construction) loan was a no-​go, our builder suggested us to contact Chris for help. From the very first phone call, finishing loan application, credit check, identifying issues, providing solutions, fix the issues, get loan approval, lock in interest rate, all the way to closing escrow, Chris and his team (we also worked closely with Sylvia) were able to do all those within 30 days! Not only we got a great rate, Chris was able to get us a conventional 30 yr fixed loan instead FHA!
We are so impressed with Chris’s abilities, knowledge, and professionalism throughout the whole process, he truly was God sent and made our home buying dream came true! My only regret is we didn’t let Chris handle our loan to begin with! If you’re thinking about buying a house, Chris Fenoglio is THE person to talk to!

We are first time home buyers and were not very familiar with the loan process. I am thankful to have worked with Chris Fenoglio because he was very patient and professional with all the questions I had during the whole process. I was very careful making decisions on the type of loan I wanted, and how much I was able to afford, therefore I asked every single question I could think of, no matter how stupid they were. Chris always replied to my emails within hours, and always kept me calm assuring that the loan quotes will not change last minute. He was true to his words, and the down payment we anticipated was lower than quoted. The monthly mortgage with api and property tax was exact the same price he quoted. I am thankful to Chris and his team for working so hard making sure that we are able to get our dream home.
Shelly also did an exceptional job with all the paperwork. She worked with our credit and updated us daily on what files we needed to turn in. It was a long process, but we’ll worth it. Thanks Chris and Team!

Working with Chris and Shelly and the team at Alpine Mortgage has been a dream! They led us through the process of financing our first home about two years ago, which was a very daunting task! They were so quick to respond to any questions we had as well as being very knowledgable and friendly too. They are very honest and worked to get us the lowest interest rate that they could at the time.
Now two years later we finished refinancing with them after receiving be an email from Chris a while ago letting us know rates were lower. We refinanced at no cost to us, and when we closed he sent us a lovely gift (from Tiffany’s!) as a thank you. I appreciated that he and Shelly made the refi super easy and they again worked quickly to organize an appraisal and a document signing at our home w a notary when it was convenient for us. We are now saving $ 300 per month and will definitely work with Chris and the Alpine Mortgage team on any future real estate endeavors.

This was our 2nd time using Chris and his excellent team. Everything moved along smoothly because Chris and his team were on it. They make it happen. I am sure we would not have closed as fast without them (25 days!). Communication is large part of any service and Chris is as good as it gets. Weekends, evenings, no matter when I needed help he was there.

I cannot speak highly enough of Chris and his team at Alpine Mortgage. We first financed the mortgage on our home with them when we bought it a little over a year ago, and in the mix of mess of buying a home, Chris made his part of the process as painless as possible.
About a year later, completely out of the blue, I get an email from him letting me know that rates have dropped to the point where our monthly mortgage payment could drop by $ 200 per month, and he could refinance it for us at no cost. I was skeptical of the «no cost» aspect of this loan, and grilled Chris on it before moving forward, because as anyone knows, there always seem to be fees tacked on that you weren’t expecting. Chris assured me they would cover the appraisal, lender costs, and everythin… including the cost of the notary, and all we would be paying is the interest on the loan. And that’s the way it went – in the end I think we actually came out a little ahead on the interest as well.
But the bigger issue is how easy the process was – there’s a ton of paperwork you have to submit these days, and Chris’s team made it clear what we needed and gathered all of that paperwork for us in a professional manner. They also dealt with one very weird request from the lender. My spouse works for a major corporation in the area, and for some reason, the lender thought he may have owned a portion of the company. Shelly, a member of Chris’s team, wrote the letter of explanation for us that he has been just an employee, and had us sign it at closing, and it was done.
I would recommend Chris and Alpine mortgage to anyone looking to get a mortgage – and certainly anyone looking to have someone who will help them get through what has become an onerous process with as much support as they give you. They really make getting a mortgage an almost pleasant experience.

I have worked with many lenders and Chris is by far in another class above everyone else. I worked with Chris and Shelly and team through my current loan process and I could not believe how great they were.
Going through the loan process can feel daunting but they made sure they took care of everything and made it very simple for us. Chris works with many clients but makes you feel as you are his only client. He answers every email or call very quickly and also looks for your best interest.
