Barney came on super short notice before we had some guests, and cleaned the area rug in one room and the carpet in the others. There were stains from the previous tenant he was able to get out, and the carpet all looked great and smelled great! No pet odors or any funky smells. The price was super reasonable, and he was a pleasure to do business with. I’ll be calling again, wherever I am in Seattle! Thanks!

Barney never let’s me down, he always does a great job. I have used this company several times to clean carpets between tenants. I could not be there doing the cleaning. I asked Barney to clean the carpets and lock the door back when he was finished. As always the carpets look great. I will continue to use them for my carpet cleaning needs.

Barney was able to schedule me on the exact date and time I wanted, however, I was most impressed that he was able to work with me when I needed to reschedule the appointment at the last minute for the following day. He called me early the day of the job to tell me he was going to be running behind, which was no problem (only because he gave me plenty of warning). I asked for a very basic clean with no bells or whistles and that’s what they provided. There is a slight remaining smell from a previous pet, but I believe that will be there until the carpet is replaced. He even offered to remove a few tough stains at a very discounted rate. Great to work with. Would definitely hire again.

With having several pets a good carpet cleaner is always needed. I called Barnes prior to moving into my new house and they cleaned so good they are now my yearly carpet cleaner. Great service, reasonable price and quick response time. All spots on the carpet and any pet odor is completely gone after they come out.

I have OLD carpeting. We bought this home 13 years ago, and I believe it was probably here for 4 – 5 years before we moved in. It is a cream colored carpet, so stains are clearly visible. Frankly, I was not hoping for a lot when I called, but was pleasantly surprised! The company was able to remove some stains that had been there for YEARS, and had defied 2 previous carpet cleanings!
I think I may be able to coax a few more years out of the carpet, which is great because, with a new kitchen last year and a few other repairs the budget needs a rest!
The cleaning is extremely effective, but a word of caution. We chose the option where he did two passes with the cleaning solution. He indicated this would take a lot longer to dry — probably 24 hours. It did indeed take that long, and with a rather stron scent of cleaning fluid. So when you schedule, make sure you can open your windows and air the place out!
Even with the above caution, I was very pleased with the results!!!

Barney’s showed up right on time. I was a bit embarrased with the number of spots from my puppy, but I was quickly set at ease by the tech. My carpet looks brand new, and the spots are completely gone, and there’s no odor. Barney’s the best !

In the past, my boyfriend and I have always rented a carpet cleaner from Top Foods, but every time he used it, the carpets always felt kind of stiff once they dried, like they hadn’t really been done properly. So I called up Barney and had him come do everything for us. His response time was great and he showed up on time and was very friendly, also pricing was reasonable and of course the most important part is that the carpets are clean! And not all stiff and weird! We have a dog and I still want to roll around on the carpet! We have a no shoes rule in the house now to keep everything looking great. Highly recommend!

Great experience. The carpet cleaner arrived at the agreed time. Surveyed the house, gave recommendations on what really needed to be done (not just agreed to what I thought needed to be done). Honest service. Worked nonstop for about 2 hours to complete everything. Focused on tough/​dirty areas to really get stains out. Thumbs up. I’ll hire again for sure. A+!

Things went great! We needed to clean the carpet in our condo before moving out. Barney was able to schedule us within a few days of my call and on the day of was he very punctual and professional.
He did a great job cleaning the carpet, and we could visually see a marked improvement (which I didn’t completely expect, because the carpet was installed just a year ago). We’ve used a number of different carpet cleaners over the years but none better then Barney. We just recently moved to Colorado otherwise we would use him again in a heart beat!

I called Barney in a panic last Friday fairly early in the morning. I was out of town and my two dogs got sick with the dog sitter. The sitter sent me pics and it was bad! She was so overwhelmed she didn’t know what to do. Barney promised me he would make it look new. 2 hours later, Barney was on his hands and knees cleaning my carpet while I was on the beach. He told me he did the best is could and if it wasn’t good enough, he would come back when I got home. When I returned home I found that the carpet is perfect. It looks amazing and I was so thankful that Barney was able to help and do such a great job! His carpet cleaning prices are extremely reasonable! He is awesome and he is now in my favorites on my phone!

I needed to get my carpet cleaned before guests arrived. Barney agreed to do it on the way back from another job. He was a little late because of the previous carpet cleaning job that was a ways from Seattle, and explained the circumstances. He requested that I remove as much as I could from the area, which I did. However, I had forgotten that I had an area rug on top of the carpet in front of the fireplace. I asked him to clean that as well.
However, there was no separate area where he could do that, so he cleaned it on the carpet and draped it over a sofa to dry. He was very good about explaining that the rug was dry underneath and would not damage the sofa in any way. He was right. There was no problem, and draping it over the sofa made it easy for me to pull it back into place by myself when it was dry.
He also pretreated all the badly soiled areas, such as the front hallway and the dining room near the kitchen, and also was very careful to explain what he was doing and why, such as not moving very heavy furniture, (e.g., dining room table and sofabed), due to mold or rust spots forming underneath the furniture on the rug while it dried. He completed the job on a Monday, and called back Friday to make sure I was happy.
My guests commented on how nice and clean the rug looked, so there was no better endorsement as far as I was concerned. I was definitely happy that he made time for me in his schedule, and was meticulous about his work. It’s always nice to deal with tradespeople who obviously take pride in what they do. I would definitely hire Barney again.

Showed up earlier than expected, which was fine. Accessed and checked if it could be cleaned. Then he began to work. I asked about cleaning one room of carpet. He quoted me a price and I agreed ok to do work. Was very professional and worked very hard. Moved the light furniture and replaced when finished. I appreciate the hard work. Carpets look great.

Barney was incredibly responsive to our needs. I sent him an e-​mail responding to his carpet cleaning deal, asking if he would be willing to honor it for a stairs-​only project, realizing that it would be asking a lot. I sent the e-​mail on a Saturday evening, not expecting to hear anything until Monday. Barney called me on Sunday to discuss the project.
He gave me an amazing price for the stairs-​only project, including using green product and sanitizing. I was thrilled knowing that few companies would offer such a good price. Barney and his wife came to the building within the week with a portable unit. This was not an easy job, since our stairs are very narrow. They did a terrific job, on time and on budget.
The carpet looks wonderful and within a day was dry with none of the usual chemical odor left behind, even though it is difficult to provide ventilation for the internal stairwell. Really nice people and very hard workers.

Barney was great to work with over the phone with an estimate and setting of an appointment. He called before he arrived and asked if it was OK if he arrived a little early, or did I want him to wait and come at the appointed time. I really appreciated being given the option and told him to come early. Barney and his carpet cleaning helper arrived, introduced themselves and asked to come in and take a look at the area that I wanted cleaned. After an inspection, they quickly started to work and cleaned the whole area thoroughly. They are exceptionally neat workers, and no peripheral damage was done to any of the rooms or the rest of the house. The stairs were particularly soiled from the movers having to work in snowy conditions, but they look like new now. The entire upstairs looks great now. will definitively hired them again in the future!

We have 3 bedrooms with off-​white wall to wall carpet, a 10 year old, and a large German Shepherd. Not a great combination. We hired Barney to clean the thtree bedrooms. They heavy traffic areas (near doorways) of the carpets were gray with dirt and there were stains in other parts of the carpet.
Overall the job went well. I had asked that they call me when they were heading to my house to make sure I was home since they had provided me with a two hour window. They did call to alert me they were heading over and arrived at the time they said they would. They quickly measured the areas to be cleaned and went over the estimate cost pluse a couple of add ons. I opted for both add ons — $ 45 for heavy scrubbing in the hi use areas (the first couple of feet inside the bedroom door for example). I also opted for the protection treatment because we have off-​white carpets and any dirt or stains show up.
They worked quickly and efficiently, the carpets look great, cleaner than any previous carpet company was able to get them. Our heavy use areas look as good as the rest of the carpet.
We will use Barneys carpet cleaning Seattle in the future.

The carpets which were cleaned after many years came very clean except for some tough stains which became lighter. The upholstery came out good. There was a small problem with one sofa set — they probably sprayed too much cleaning solution on it. It took more time to dry and also had the smell of the solution for a week or so. I am very sensitive to smells. Cleaning the whole house carpet and one sofa set took one full day. They came 2nd time to clean the 2nd sofa set. It dried faster and had no smell after 2 days. They came 3rd time to clean some small areas on carpet including the tough yellow stains.
They cleaned 3 area rugs, 2 were big and oriental. One of the oriental rug is expensive and I was afraid it may get damaged. But they did a good job in cleaning these rugs.
