Having worked in the Real Estate industry since 2005, previous to being a Property Manager, Cassie Walker Johnson was a sales agent with Windermere Real Estate. In 2008, anticipating a niche market for rentals, she joined Windermere Property Management/​Lori Gill & Associates as a Property Manager. There she helped further develop the luxury rental division of the Windermere Premier for Lease program. Leasing and managing properties ranging from $ 1,000-$ 15,000 a month, Cassie has a well rounded background of expertise in sales, marketing, technology and customer service. In 2010 she assisted in opening Lori Gill’s newest office near Green Lake where she currently serves as the Branch Manager. Having leased more than 250 properties and collected more than $ 3 million in gross rental revenue, Cassie’s expertise is the professionalism you require when managing perhaps your single biggest investment.

We rented a house through Windermere and Cassie was the property manager. She was straightforward and clear with us about expectations per the contract. She represented the owner in making sure we took good care of the place and respected the neighbors, and she responded to us right away whenever anything on the property needed maintenance or replacement. It was a great arrangement and we loved the time we got to enjoy the house we rented from her. When it was time to move out we followed the guidelines she gave us in advance and had no issues. I would recommend her to owners and renters as she works hard for both parties.

I was very hesitant to enter a lease with a big name property management company attached to it because I’ve historically had very poor experiences with large companies and much better luck with owner managed units and homes. The house we are leasing was too perfect for us, so we took a leap of faith and signed on. I’m so glad we did!
I realized I needed to write a review for Cassie when I had the thought that, should I ever need property management, she is who I would turn to. Cassie’s been the property manager for the home we’ve been leasing for over a year. Her communication has always been prompt, courteous and respectful. She is very quick to communicate with both tenant and the property owners — this is demonstrated by the very quick turnaround time for any inquiries from lease extension to home repairs. Five stars to Cassie for effective communication, professionalism, and being incredibly easy to work with!

Cassie has managed five of my investment properties in Seattle for several years. She and her team have been diligent, honest, responsive, and very effective in providing service and guidance to meet my needs as a landlord. Her policies are fair, and her experience is invaluable when unusual circumstances inevitably arise. To top it off, she’s a fun person to work with – very personable and funny while also exacting and professional. Cassie is the rare service provider who communicates well and often, and gets things done when she says she will.

I moved into one of the apartments that Cassie manages in Fremont Seattle. When I had to first sign the lease and move in she was very responsive and we went through the paper work quickly and efficiently. We have had no problems in the apartment so not much interaction with her. I prefer this to the previous landlords I have had that would visit quite often. On the other hand I have never met Cassie so that would be the only thing I would improve.

I’d highly recommend Cassie Walker (also known to us as Cassie Walker Johnson) to any landlord, but renter beware.
As for me, I was renting a house in Montlake in Seattle through Ms. Walker and wanted to move out. Cassie had contacted my wife a few months prior to this, informing us that the landlord wanted to move back in to the house. This made us get serious about moving, as we suspected our lease would not be renewed.
Surprisingly, when we found a new place and contacted Ms. Walker, the owner was no longer interested in terminating the lease. Ms. Walker asked me to pay one month’s rent up front in order to possibly find a new renter to take over the lease.
After I refused, Ms. Walker negotiated on the landlord’s behalf and proposed that we pay three months’ rent to terminate the lease. She did not provide the landlord’s contact information, and was a shrewd negotiator. Even after we paid the fee and moved out, she continued to ask us to make minor wear-​and-​tear repairs on the house.
Kudos, Cassie Walker. If I ever wish to be a landlord, I’d love to have you on my side.

Cassie managed the house that I lived in with three roommates for two years. I was very impressed by her level of service. She was very clear, organized and helpful. Her assistant Kristen is also a great resource. Both of them got back to me very quickly anytime we communicated.
I can tell that she is an advocate for the homeowner while also being honest and realistic with the tenants, too. Anytime we had any issues she found solutions very quickly and would send the handyman over ASAP for the few issues we had in our (super old) house.
She was even flexible with getting us new appliances when they were wearing out. Previous landlords would have just put quick fixes but she advocated for us to the homeowner and it was such a nice gesture.
I would totally recommend her services!

Cassie is a great resource for getting your home rented. She came in and helped us set a rental price for our home and then took the reigns and got our home rented in less than a week! It was the best $$ we spent to have someone who understands the market and can take over the rental process from start to finish. I would highly recommend using her services and plan to use her again next time we need to rent our home
