I have used Brea and Jaime’s services for the past few years. They are absolutely wonderful and treat Heidi like their own pet. I know Heidi looks forward to her daily walks with them! They are always reliable and always let me know how Heidi’s walk went. I never have to worry about her when I am at work. I would recommend Brea and Jaime to anybody!

My husband and I started using Cosmic Home and Pet about a year and a half ago, and since then have used Brea about five times. We have been so happy with her, so I wanted to leave a review before we move to the Bay Area and are unfortunately no longer able to use her service.
Back when Brea first started pet-​sitting for us we had two cats (one of whom passed away about a year ago). Both our cats love/​loved Brea, and the kitty who is still around is a massive pansy ass who runs at the sight/​sound of any one, even someone she’s seen a billion times. We generally pay for Brea to visit twice a day, at a rate of 15 or 20 dollars per visit, I can’t remember which. Once every day or couple of days we will get a video of her petting our cat, and it makes us very happy to see our baby rolling happily on the floor.
So, Brea has always been very professional, her service is reasonably priced, and our cat loves her. All you need to know.

Tried this business on a close friend’s recommendation, and I’m happy to say the service is just phenomenal. I’m a super neurotic cat lady and I hate leaving my kitties when I go out of town, but Brea’s team has taken AMAZING care of my two cats the last two times I’ve been out of town. This includes daily feedings (which I sometimes adjusted on-​the-​fly — my Cosmic sitter Kelly was immediately responsive to emails I sent while out of town) and lots of play and cuddle time. My sitter also provided me with daily phone pics of my cats (again… neurotic cat lady) which was really appreciated!
Upon signing up with the service, you’re asked to fill out a bunch of forms — vet’s name and info, medication info, location of thermostat (s), extra information about your home, emergency contacts — which for some reason was super reassuring. I’ve been through lots of sitters and Cosmic is by and large the most thorough I’ve ever seen.
Given the extremely reasonable price and level of quality care, I don’t think I’ll ever use a sitting service other than Cosmic again in Seattle, honestly.

Brea and her team are the most wonderful, trust worthy, reliable dog walkers around. Our yorkie puppy loves them!!! We have had nothing but good experiences with them taking care of our little Winnie. They always send pictures/​videos which makes the human end of separation anxiety easier! Brea comes daily to walk or play with our dog. They have also been really flexible accommodating my sometimes unpredictable work schedule, which I am extremely grateful for. I would recommend Cosmic Home and Pet to anyone that is in their radius of their service. Expect high quality care at a reasonable cost!

Jamie is amazing! She walked my dog twice a week for several months until I moved away and I was super bummed when I realized they didn’t service the new area — it’s really tough finding great dog walkers and I had hit the jackpot with Jamie and Cosmic Pets. They were also fantastic when I went away for a week they came and took care of my cat while my dog was being boarded.
Always professional, flexible on their schedule and willing to help and make things work. When my dog started showing some signs of uncomfort at home in the crate Jamie and Brea talked to me about training ideas and techniques to help him be more comfortable during crating and at home in general. They clearly always prioritized my pets happiness and wanted to ensure they always felt happy and comfortable!

It’s been years since I’ve left any review on Unilocal!,but small businesses like Cosmic Home & Pet deserve all the love they can get. We’ve been using Brea and Cosmic for a couple of years now to visit our cat while we leave town, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Our cat is no longer a nervous mess of energy when we return home from trips. Brea has always been reasonably prompt when communicating about appointments, and we’ve never had any issues at all.
Allowing strangers into your home takes a large measure of trust, and I feel like Brea and company have certainly earned it!

Brea is fantastic! Like the review below, a coworker of mine also highly recommended Cosmic Home & Pet and I’m so glad I went with her suggestion.
Brea responded to my initial email within 20 minutes and stopped by my apt for an introduction the very next day. My old, fat kitty immediately warmed up to her and, after we talked about her own animals, I knew she was going to provide the attention and affection Lyla needed while I was away.
I was so pleased to receive text messages and emails during every visit. Towards the end of my trip Lyla ran out of wet canned food and refused to eat the emergency dry-​food stash so Brea brought a can from her home to get Lyla through the next day.
She spends quality time with your animal, her response time/​communication is impeccable and she has an overall great energy about her. Brea has gained another repeat customer!

Brea is amazing.
I am extremely picky and I was worried about giving someone access to my home (and even more nervous about having someone take care of my beloved puppy), but I couldn’t be more pleased.
Brea has been walking my dog daily for several months now. She sends me daily updates while I’m at work so I can know how my little guy is doing. He’s in his socialization period now so she walks him with other puppies and lets them play together. From the videos she sends me of their play sessions, I know my puppy loves it. I feel extremely comfortable entrusting my little pup with her. Also, there have been several different occasions where I really feel she went above and beyond.
One reviewer noted that Brea had limited availability. I haven’t found this to be true. She’s always been available when I’ve needed her. In addition, when she wasn’t available, she found a replacement, introduced my dog to the replacement, and checked in with me afterward to make sure it went well (which it did). Two reviewers noted that she’s slow to respond; however, she’s always responded to my texts/​emails within minutes.
I can’t recommend her highly enough.

We’ve been using Brea with Cosmic Home and Pet to cat sit for us since moving to Seattle, almost 3 years ago. I highly recommend her! It’s obvious she has a love for animals and always checks in with me while we are out of town. Last summer, over the 4th of July, one of my cats managed to escape out of our 4th story window while we were out of town. Brea put in extra time and effort to print and post flyers, and follow up with a tip that found our cat! She spent extra time finding our kitty and making sure she was okay once she got home.

If I could give Brea and Cosmic Home & Pet ten stars, I would! The service was recommended by a coworker who also had a good experience, so I jumped right in and booked Brea to visit my very shy kitty during a long vacation. The booking process was quick and personable, each e-​mail answered promptly. And I really appreciated the in-​person meet and greet before the service began. We discussed my cat, her temperament, habits, needs, and I came away really feeling secure.
During the trip I received tons of updates, pictures, and videos which made the long time away much better. I had such a good experience that I re-​booked for the holidays. Brea went above and beyond to make sure my timid, nervous kitty felt loved and supported during the holidays. She even got a little kitty Christmas present!
I couldn’t be happier with my experience and I am strongly recommending Cosmic Home & Pet to all of my friends!

I don’t like giving out 5 stars reviews, but this one is well deserved. Brea was supposed to watch my cat for only four days, but we encountered a family emergency and needed to leave our cat for an unexpected amount of time. It was such an emotional and shocking experience we had to go through, but brea was so accommodating and understanding. She really lifted a huge burden on our shoulders.
I loved that she also sent us a video of our cat while we were away! I know that she is fully competent, knowledgeable, and has a sincere love of animals. I highly reccommend her and would call her the next time we plan another trip!

Brea is amazing. Not only did she take great care of my two doggies (who are very attached to their mama) but she sent us little updates during our time away (cute videos, pictures, etc). You can tell she really loves animals and wants your pets to be happy while they’re away. We plan to use Cosmic Home & Pet in the future for sure.
I have never had issues with Brea not being timely in her response, nor any of the other concerns other Unilocalers have listed. She is one woman managing her business alone, and still I have always gotten communication from her within 24 hours. All around this is a great business if your pets need closer care while you’re away.

I can’t say enough good things about this dog walking service and Brea.
Our older dog isn’t super friendly and needed a lot of attention when I moved and my husband stayed in town for a few months.
Brea was a real pro and was extremely flexible. Our dog loved her — and so did we!
I highly recommend Cosmic for your dog walking needs!

I recently moved a cat into my house. Two days later I had to unexpectedly leave town for work. I found Cosmic on the Internet, called, and within a day had handed off my keys. Having never met the owners of Cosmic I was a bit nervous. But, my nervousnous proved to be unfounded.
The first time Cosmic stopped by to see the cat they sent a text message with a picture of the cat, looking fat and happy. When I returned home the next weekend the cat had been fed and played with, the litter box emptied, and a note had been left detailing the visit.
I’ve asked Cosmic to return mutliple times since, and have always been extremely satisfied with the service.

First off, I must admit, from a pet sitting standpoint that Cosmic is 5 stars. We’ve had a couple different people from Cosmic watch our dog, and we’ve always returned home to a happy dog and a house that’s usually cleaner than when we left it.
However, I’ve often found them to be a little slow to respond to requests and their availability is pretty limited. This last time, it took Brea 8 days to get back to me that she had no one available for the time we requested, which by then meant that many alternatives were getting booked up in that time as well.
Overall, fantastic dog sitting, but I wish they handled the business aspect a little better.

We love Cosmic! We *have* to have a dog-​friendly person clean our place, since our big dog is nosy and tries his best to help when you’re scrubbing the floor, so we were thrilled to find home services and pet services together.
Brea has been walking our dog and cleaning our condo every week for the last year. She’s dependable, meticulous, and best of all, she somehow handles our 75-​lb. meat-​head with grace. He’s a much calmer boy at night after she’s taken him out for a midday stroll. We trust her 100 percent with our dog and our home.

Brea & Jaime are nice, dependable, trustworthy, & charge fair rates. When Brea came over for initial meeting, she brought her business license & hard copy of references; all references checked out. I like their website: clever, professional, with services & rates clearly outlined. Other folks in my building have used Cosmic, & they have been happy with service too. Great people to work with!
And it sure is nice to come home to cats’ typical aloof indifference vs. frantic lovestarved meowfest.

I am so glad to have discovered Brea’s petsitting service. My cat was clearly very well taken care of – and the apartment was left in great shape. She even washed the used cat food cans and put them in the recycling bin.
The level of care shown was well beyond that of «doing one’s job» — it was immediately clear that she loved animals and really satisfying her customers.
I would have no reservations contacting her again.

Brea is fantastic. We came home from Hawaii to a mellow, relaxed, happy dog. It was so nice to get little updates from her — it really made me enjoy the vacation all that much more. Brea is professional, honest, and reliable. I’m almost hesitant to say how great she is, because she will be so booked!!!
