Elegant Simplicity

I’ve worked with Sherri for both organizing and home design. She’s easy to connect with — before she starts work, the two of you will meet to get to know each other. She also has a simple questionnaire to get a sense of your style and how you’d like your home to be. It was very helpful. Like everyone has written, I clicked with Sherri immediately.
If you’re worried that your home is «too» unorganized, don’t let that keep you from calling her. It’s her job! Before I moved to my new place, I wouldn’t have considered hiring a stranger to help me sort through my things. But, necessity required it. I didn’t feel weird pulling out the entirety of my closet with Sherri. There were no awkward moments — we chatted the whole time.
I consider her interior design work to be a bonus. Sherri has great ideas about home decorating and furniture layout. She was at my place for about 5 minutes before all the great ideas started coming out. We made shopping lists, took measurements, and taped where everything would go. It was nice to have someone to do that with and brainstorm ideas together. She definitely took the lead, but I’d like to think I contributed a lot, too! :)

Absolutely and without hesitation, hire this woman! She’s worth every penny! I first called Sherri to help me organize and pack for an out of state move. I had to downsize my two bedroom apartment and 10 years of stuff into a storage locker and whatever I could fit in my car. Organization is not my strong suit and I was at a complete loss.
Sherri was absolutely amazing. Let me say that again: Sherri is amazing! Her personality immediately put me at ease. She is so patient and empathetic. I was so scared that she would want me to get rid of everything, but she actually encouraged me to keep things when I was feeling torn or anxious. I swear she’s part organizer, part therapist. She figures out why you have so much stuff and helps you comfortably reduce it to a manageable amount. Turns out I don’t actually need 15 pairs of flip flops, I just kept losing them and buying more.
Sherri enthusiasm is definitely contagious, she made the whole process actually *gasp* FUN for me. She helped me pack so that I could actually find things later, helped me organize the storage locker for maximum efficiency, and even helped me pack and organize the car before I left.
I loved her so much that I called her again when I was preparing for an extended period out of the country and I’m pressing my parents to hire her for their house.
My only regret is not hiring her before I actually had to move. The last few weeks living in my apartment were the most organized of my life. When I stop living out of a suitcase, I will be hiring her to help me set up my new space. Really, I just can’t recommend her enough. I’ve been telling EVERYONE ;)

After two years of trying to organize our house and make it functional I had reached my wit’s end. I was frustrated, stressed, and overwhelmed. After searching online for a few days I finally came across Sherri’s website. I knew I was out of her typical area, but figured I had nothing to lose by contacting her. The second we met up I instantly liked her. We discussed everything from what my lifestyle was, my hobbies, what I liked/didn’t like… to our personal lives. I couldn’t wait to have her meet my husband and see my crazy, disorganized house and get her help.
Sherri has a serious eye for organizing. She can quickly see through the dysfunction and put things in places that make WAY more sense. I learned that rooms don’t have to be used the way we think they do. Room purposes can evolve to fit our lifestyles. She helped organize my entire kitchen, family room, hobby room, smaller spare bedroom, my dresser and walk-​in closet in just 20 hours. My husband and I have managed to keep up with the organization with ease, even with our crazy schedules/​lives.
The best part of working with Sherri is that she checks in periodically AFTER everything has been organized, and not just to see if your sock drawer is still just the sock drawer. She checks in to see how YOU are doing, how your dogs are doing, if you have done anything fun… Working with her isn’t just a business transaction. You make a lasting friendship. I look forward to working with her again (I already know that I’ll need her help again!).

There are those moments that you really can be floored by someone’s ability.
I am floored by Sherri and what she does with interior design.
Although she truly made me feel so comfortable from the second we met, she radiates passion about her work, she’s super excited to be using her creativity in this way and she was anxious to give me what I wanted, let’s face it, when it comes to something like interior design you have no idea what you are getting until you actually see your space transformed.
When I walked into my apartment I was blown away by the transformation. For want of a better term I had sort of a «bachelor style» place, it never actually worked all that right for me alone or when I entertained guests. It felt kind of bland to me all the time but as I had no idea what to do, how to get some of my ideas to ‘flow’, how to make my small place work for me I never really tackled the idea of decorating it. I knew I needed a professional interior designer.
Sherri is that professional designer for me!
She walked me through the process from the start, I knew I could always contact her if needed and she kept me ‘in tune’ to what she was always up to, making sure we were following my budget every step of the way. She always checked with me on purchases and made sure I was happy with every single one.
What Sherri did was make my small space functional on a practical level, but also managed to add specific details that fit so perfectly my apartment was truly tailored to my life (and the only way a designer can manage that is to really truly listen when you speak with them… and caring enough to want to listen.)
After the place was set up (and I was beaming over it) Sherri assured me she was able to return anything that I didn’t like or that I thought didn’t work. But I didn’t want a thing changed. Really, she has incredible taste, all those ideas Sherri brought in truly completed the ‘big picture’ she described to me in the planning process and fit with those ‘smaller picture’ ideas I had.
I sit here writing this recommendation in an apartment I now never want to leave!
I would recommend Sherri to anyone and I hope to keep seeing her in the future. She is a fantastic interior designer and a great lady.

I contacted Sherri from Tennessee as my belongings were being loaded onto a moving truck. I was bound for Seattle and looking for someone to help me «get organized» in my new home in Seattle.
I found so much more than a «professional organizer» in Sherri. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her ability to connect with and understand me were spot on. Sherri did a spectacular job helping me get settled into my space quickly. Her organization skills are intuitive, efficient and practical and she adds a flair of beauty to even the most simple organization project.
Most recently, I invited Sherri back to help with my storage space. Ugh, right? Not with Sherri. One of Sherri’s gifts is helping her clients create a space that reflects who they are and what they care about. She did this with me even in my storage space. When I go into that newly organized space, I am reminded of what is most important to me.
Additionally, Sherri created a design board for me that has been the inspiration for my decorating projects. Her ability to capture me and where I wanted to go with my space in the design was brilliant.

I hired Sherri to help me organize my kitchen last year. She was amazing! We spent an entire day cleaning out, organizing and building systems that would work for me. I had NO idea how many things I had collected. Within one day we had reorganized every cabinet, drawer and space in my kitchen. A year later, it’s still organized and all of her systems have worked flawlessly. Sherri is an absolute professional and was a pleasure to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate in hiring her again!

When I moved to Seattle, I had to downsize my apt from the spacious loft I had in Minneapolis. Sherry was able to work with pieces I had invested in while at the same find other pieces to make this new space my home. She took great lengths to understand my style and designed a place that helped Seattle feel like home to me. On top of her design skills, she worked with me on organization and had the most ingenious ways to find a place for everything. She created a scarf rack for me that worked to store my array of scarfs that also double as a design piece! And don’t even get me started on what she did with my jewelry. I would absolutely recommend her and will be using her services again!
