Business Owner

Laura’s main passions are food, cooking, and travel. As Owner of Honest to Goodness, she employs her passions, skills, and experiences to make your life a little easier when it comes to food. She helps those who don’t know how to cook, don’t know what to cook, or don’t have time to cook by preparing healthy meals in your home.

Laura is a social-​preneur and consummate professional whose career has included progressive catering and event planning in private clubs, hotels, and fine dining restaurants. She has sold and planned nearly $ 11 million in corporate, social, and non-​profit events for as many as 1200 guests. Laura has been an active member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) since 2003 and most recently served as President of the Greater Seattle Area Chapter. Through NACE, she achieved the coveted Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE) designation in 2008 and was also awarded with the honor of Best Catered Event of the Year 2009.
