Jenny is a master behind the camera. She’s a master at being so casual with the whole process that you never have a chance to feel uncomfortable or awkward. Our day wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without her… AND OUR PHOTOS ARE STUNNING.

Jenny is the best vendor choice you’ll make for your wedding. Full stop. There are a million things I could say about this woman’s talent for taking shots that show you and your people at your truest and best, about her personality that puts the whole room at ease, and about the fact that her packages are an insane value for what you get and how quickly you get it (two week turn around for 1,000 photos from my June wedding, WHAT??) If I tried to sum it all up, though, we’d be here all day, and you’d be losing precious time to book Jenny. Stop reading her 5 star reviews after 5 star reviews – give her a call and you’ll quickly find out why she’s getting them.

Jenny photographed our wedding 4÷18÷15− BEST wedding decision we made. BEST wedding photos ever. Here’s why:
1. A wedding is a long, non-​stop day. To capture all that cool stuff that’s going on, ALL day, in a bunch of different places, is a LOT of work. Jenny busted her @&& for us. She got so much that we didn’t see. She got amazing candid shots of my parents. We will have these photos forever, and they allow us to relive that happy day. Jenny really invested herself in getting all the good stuff from the day in pictures. And she was a joy to have around. Everyone loved her.
2. We got a huge range of photos. She brought out the best in us and the setting, and where both of us feel like we look our best. We got great posed family shots. We got great candid shots of our friends and family. We got great shots from the ceremony. We got artistic shots that we never would have thought of. We just got SO MANY great photos.
3. Specifically, Jenny got lovely photos of the two of us that looked like they came from a bridal magazine. I’m not the kind of gal who grew up dreaming of my wedding, but I have to admit that I was not immune to wanting to see myself looking… bridal. Just this once. We got so many great shots of the two of us that it will be hard to choose which one gets framed.
4. Jenny is a sweet, no-​nonsense kind of lady and a professional. She was completely upfront about costs and had a fast turnaround time.
So, in summary, I have wedding photos that I just keep looking at over, and over, and over… because I love them so much. I love all the funny photos of people, all the cute photos, all the group photos, all the photos that make me tear up a little. They are just AWESOME.

Jenny is absolutely fabulous to work with. My fiancé and I are having our wedding out of state, but wanted to have our engagement photos in our new home of Seattle to include some of the iconic landmarks. Jenny was incredibly helpful from the first phone call, to multiple reschedules to accomodate the not so great weather, to being incredibly fun and easy to work with on the day of the photo shoot. My fiancé and I are both a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera, but her easygoing personality and stories kept us laughing all day which showed up wonderfully in the photos! Her lighting, editing and post-​photo finishing is amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the results. If you are in need of a photographer for engagement photography, wedding photography or any other needs, book with Jenny! She’s the best and we would book with her again in a heartbeat!

Jenny is absolutely the best decision I made for my wedding over 5 years ago. Ever since then my husband and I have been absolutely in love with her and we consider her our «life photographer» now. I would never even consider another photographer for any event, ever. She has since captured our lives through 2 pregnancy sessions, 2 newborn sessions, several family pictures, (and our wedding, engagement pictures, and «trash the dress»). Jenny is amazing, and I refer her for everything.

Okay, let’s be real. Jenny is the best person you will ever meet. Notice that I didn’t say photographer (she’s the best at that too though), I said person. She’s just fantastic. Once you meet with her, you’ll understand. Oh, and you should just book her at your first meeting. Honestly, you will meet with others and you won’t be able to stop thinking about Jenny and how good your photos are going to look if you book her. Guys, I’m serious. We won a contest and ended up getting engagement photos from Jenny. She made us both feel super comfortable, she was incredibly fun to be around, and she took some amazing photos. She knows what you want, even if you don’t. Does love at first sight apply to photographers? I think it does. Anyway, when it came time to pick a photographer for our wedding, we both knew we wanted Jenny but we decided we should meet with other photographers just in case. We met with one and the entire time we were with her, we both felt like we were cheating on Jenny. Jenny is so good that she can make you feel like you are cheating on someone that you aren’t dating. So, we got home from that other meeting and emailed Jenny to let her know we wanted to book her. All of our pre-​wedding meetings were super fun and full of useful information and questions that we never would have thought of ourselves. The day of the wedding she was super organized (even when we weren’t), strategic, and did an awesome job capturing all the best moments from our wedding. During our first look and the ceremony, I didn’t even see her while she was taking perfect photos. I’m convinced she has some super secret invisible powers. Oh, and EVERYONE loved her. At least 30 people told me how great she was and that they wanted to book her for something, including people from out of state. One person even said they needed to find someone to marry so that they could use her for the wedding. Moral of the story: If you don’t book Jenny, you will regret it. 100%.

Jenny is simply amazing. I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid twice when she was the photographer, so I had extensive first-​hand knowledge of her mad skills before working directly with her. My boyfriend and I had a blast hanging out with her at my friends’ wedding, and we adored the photos she took, so when we got engaged she was the first vendor we booked. And we were so happy we did. She immediately sent me referrals and ideas, and went way above and beyond being just out photographer. She referred our florist (Molly at En Fleur) who was also beyond amazing. Jenny even answered the phone in my hotel room when we were taking too long to check out and got us an extension — totally based on her charm! She has a great eye for making sure everyone in your photos looks their best, and has the energy and sense of humor that keeps everyone laughing and having fun. I can’t recommend Jenny enough.

What can I say about Jenny that hasn’t already been said? Okay… have you seen the movie Mean Girls? Jenny GG is the Regina George of photography (minus the mean part, duh). I saw Jenny GG wearing army pants and flip flops, so I wore army pants and flip flops. But seriously, this girl, oof. She got skills. She Is party. She is also organized and strategic, and goes above and beyond what is expected. The pre wedding meetings I had with here were jam packed with info that we didn’t even KNOW WE HAD TO KNOW! After the wedding, my attendants, family and friends all commented on what a GREAT photographer I had. They all thought she was on top of her game and shes friggin hilarious man. She has the ability to pull in the reigns and take control while being a comedian on top of that. Not a lot of people can balance those two qualities, but she made it look effortless. She even phoned my friend before the wedding (who was a first time officiant and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us) and told her she was there to support her any way she needed. How sweet is she?! So sweet. I recommend Jenny GG to anyone! I cannot wait to work with her again to shoot more life events, like a future bump, babies first b-​day ya know, all the stuffs that you should have a professional photographer at to make sure the moments are captured perfectly. There simply aren’t enough positive words to express how awesome Jenny and her photos are. My husband and I chose Jenny to be our wedding photographer not only because of her talent with a camera, but also because of her positive energy and wonderful sense of humor that can make you comfortable in front of her lens.
We don’t consider ourselves photogenic people, but the photos Jenny took at our October engagement session are nothing short of amazing. She caught everything we asked for (mostly landscape requests) and so much more. We have received so many compliments on how they are so «us» and aren’t overly posed.
Jenny also did a fantastic job photographing our July wedding. It was extremely hot, but it didn’t put a damper on Jenny or her assistant Didi’s mood… they were in great spirits and really helped keep me cool, calm, and collected in addition to photography duties. Jenny meshed with us and our guests so well that we had several people ask if Jenny was a local friend that we had hired to be our photographer. I feel she not only captured many little details that we missed on the big day, but also our personalities. I love that our photos aren’t the typical «stand here, do this» group shots… they are us as we truly are.
Overall, Jenny was easy to work with and offered great suggestions on what to wear and photo locations. She also has an impressive photo turnaround time even during summer wedding season. I highly recommend taking a look at her blog to see her most recent photos and setting up a meeting to get to know her… I think you’ll love her as much as we do!

All I can say is Jenny is amazing! From the initial email/​call to my photoshoot she was fabulous. When I met her on my shoot day she made me instantly feel comfortable. She was there doing the poses and then asked me to do them as well. She have great directions (I had no clue how to pose) and the pictures turned out awesome! She was quick on getting the pictures back to me and there were hundreds to choose from so I got a a great selection that I am super happy with!
We had looked into her for our wedding photographer as well but she books up so fast so we had to go with someone else. If you can get her do it! You won’t regret it!

Jenny GG took my daughters senior pictures and we couldn’t be more pleased. Jenny came to the house and made it a fun and stress-​free experience. The portraits were ready to view online within a couple of days. We loved the quality and were happy to have a great mix of traditional and unique shots to choose from. It’s rare to find such a talented photographer that will sell their digital photo files but Jenny GG does. This meant we didn’t have to whittle our selections down but were able to select 25 wonderful photo files, which we can now print ourselves in whatever size and finish we need for various family and friends. Given what you get for her prices, I can’t imagine a better deal.

The best photographer! We booked Jenny for our wedding which hasn’t happened yet but we had the pleasure of spending the day with her over the weekend for our engagement shoot. First off, she is SO funny. I was all stiff and awkward for about five minutes before she cracked a bunch of jokes and made me feel relaxed. She totally understood our «vision» of what types of pictures we wanted and made suggestions knowing what friends and family would probably like to see. The whole day was super fun. It only took a few days for Jenny to edit and send us the album — the pictures are fantastic! The way she used the light was amazing and there was a perfect mix of natural, posed, funny, serious, romantic, color, black and white, etc. We really couldn’t be happier with how the photos came out. Now we have our wedding to look forward to — it is SUCH a relief to know the photography will be taken care of and we’ll have beautiful pictures to look back on for years to come. We will definitely go straight to Jenny for any future photography needs. I highly, highly recommend Jenny GG!

Jenny is awesome. She first did our wedding and the pictures turned out amazing. Then she’s done our maternity pics and that turned out amazing. Then she did our newborn pics and THAT turned out amazing. THEN she did our family portraits and THAT again was amazing. THENNN she did our 2^nd maternity pics and again that was AMAZING. Now she did our 2^nd childs newborn pics that again she’s has amazed us with beautiful photos.

I can’t say enough great things about Jenny GG and her awesome skills! She did a fantastic job on our Engagement and Wedding photos! I recommend her to everyone we meet. She is available? Yay for you! Congratulations, you will have the best photographs for your wedding/​family photo shoot/​baby photo shoot/​senior photo shoot/​etc… You will get so many likes on Facebook when you post them because they will be the BEST and you will look amazing, and happy and sexy and in love. You know, when I was planning my wedding (2009) I was advised NOT to book a photographer because I «would not look at the photos after the first year». That was some bad advice that I am glad I ignored. I look at the photos from my wedding that Jenny GG took All.The.Time. I love them. My hair looks amazing, I am surrounded by my friends and family, good desserts and so much love. In fact, I loved her photos so much that I have hired her again and again. She has done a new baby shoot for my first child, family photos for holiday cards, a book launch party I booked her for, family photos for holiday cards again, pregnancy belly photos, MY BIRTH (I invited her to my birth people, well my 2^nd child’s birth to be exact — total bonus, she used to be a doula so hanging out with a laboring woman is something she is used to), and new baby + family photos again. My friends tease me and ask if I just pay her to follow me around taking pictures. But really, these are my favorite photos to cherish forever. I’m not rolling in dough or anything over here, but I find it completely worth it to have great photos to mark special occasions in my life.
One of the best things I remember about having her at my wedding was that she was never in the way. I have been to weddings where I am like, seriously photographer person, you are upstaging the ceremony/​first dance/​cake cutting by getting all up in the way. But that absolutely NEVER happened with Jenny GG. She is great at capturing amazing shots and leaving YOU to be the center of your big day. Also, she is really great at getting you and your spouse to be to look at each other in this totally dreamy way and she gives great tips on kissing for pictures (no squished noses).
Check out her blog. Do you love the photos there? Of course you do (because they are amazing). Don’t for one second think that those are just the top few best of what she took. There is no way she could only post the best ones because they are ALL the best. When I see the blog posts she has done for me, I am like «what about this one, and that one and that one, and these…» but she can’t post them all because then you would have like 10 pages for each event on her blog. But you would still enjoy seeing them all because they are so good. So book her now (if you thought I was kidding above) and thank me for it later. I will accept gift cards for coffee or you can chip in for my NEXT Jenny GG shoot. The holidays ARE coming up people and I have a new baby to put in a pumpkin or wrap in Christmas lights or something ;)

This review is a long time coming (sorry Jenny!!) My wife and I got married in April, 2012 and decided (after many photographer interviews) that Jenny was the photographer for us. Why? Well, for starters, she’s just about the most charismatic photographer I’ve ever met. She’s the type of person that when you meet her you say to yourself… «I could totally have a beer with her and have a great time just hanging out.» That’s just her personality. She’s there for you, not just as a photographer, but as a friend. Jenny did our engagement photographs and I am not the easiest subject. I don’t really smile and I don’t photograph well. That said, Jenny did a great job of pulling out the smiles that my wife so craved. We had a great time, despite the fact that I forgot my black socks for my suit and that my wife had come straight from work. Both of us looked like hell, but Jenny was a rock star and got some of the best photographs that we have ever had taken of us.
Fast forward to the wedding. Holy crap, that’s all I can say. Jenny did this amazing photograph of our wedding party — each one of us was lit individually and then the whole thing was compiled together into this retro 1940s cocktail lounge look. It’s easily one of my favorite pictures ever. My wife and I are planning on having it enlarged to a canvas. The other photos Jenny got of my wife and I, to this day, bring us smiles.
During the wedding, we barely even noticed Jenny was there at all. Add on top of that the super fun photo booth and we had the most memorable wedding ever.
Jenny is, by far, the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. My wife and I are expecting a son in just a few days and we are actually debating flying up to Seattle to have Jenny take the baby pictures — we now live in San Jose, CA. So let that be an indication of just how talented she is.

Jenny GG is hands down the BEST photographer in the the greater Seattle area. Not only is she amazingly talented, but she is a truly wonderful person. She doesn’t just care about your photos, she genuinely cares about you!

I really can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said, so I’ll just reiterate all of the wonderful reviews. I actually found Jenny GG through Unilocal,and yes, she does live up to all the praise! Jenny was the first photographer we interviewed and after our first meeting, my fiancé looked at each other and said «Yes!» Obviously, there was no need to interview anyone else.
As we discussed the engagement shoot, my fiancé and I really had no idea what we wanted to do, except for the fact that we wanted to do something different (i.e. no train track shots or balloons, etc). Jenny asked us what we love to do and we immediately thought: food and cooking! She took that idea and ran with it and we ended up having an amazing and fun e-​shoot starting at Pike Place Market, where we picked ingredients and then to a relative’s home where we cooked it up together and had a picnic on Lake Meridian with views of Mt. Rainier. The photos turned out beautifully, Jenny gives great direction and lets your personality come through without feeling «pose-​y» in the least.
Jenny worked with us to design a package that would work best for our wedding. We had originally planned on having a second shooter, but Jenny was very direct in telling us that we didn’t need one given that our ceremony, reception where all in one place and she felt very confident she could get all the photos we wanted. We saved money on that end and still got all of the photos we wanted (1000+!) I loved her honesty and it really came through that she truly cares about her clients.
When it came to the wedding day, Jenny totally rocked. Not just in snapping the photos, but taking full advantage of the venue and its surroundings. Jenny has the most energy of anyone I’ve ever met and it’s totally infectious. She knows how to get the perfect giggle or smile – even when you’re totally stressed or sleep-​deprived. She’s also so organized with all the different family portrait arrangements that we were able to get through those quickly so we could have some downtime before the ceremony.
We got all 1000+ photos back ridiculously quickly. Did I mention that EVERY photo is fully edited?! Given the volume of weddings she does each year, I’m pretty she just doesn’t sleep – seriously.
Not only is Jenny an absolute pleasure to work with, but she is such a warm-​hearted person that radiates positivity. I’m so glad we were able to book her for our wedding and cannot recommend her enough.

My husband and I were among the first same-​sex couples to get married in Washington on 12÷09÷12. Jenny completely donated her photography services to the event — an amazing gesture in and of itself. She went out of her way to capture our special day. And capture it she did! We cannot say enough good things about the photos!
