Eden Advanced Pest Technologies

People are nice but their heating system doesn’t work for bed bugs. Had my house treated. It is 1600 square feet rammbler, paid $ 2400. They don’t give any guaranty. I still have the bugs.

Great customer service, nice people, good work. No complaints from this extremely ‘picky’ homeowner! Use their maintenance program so there are no worries about rodents returning!

It all started out when our tenants complained of a dead animal smell whenever they turned on the heat. We first called an HVAC company but after I explained what our tenants were smelling, they recommend that we call a pest control company to first investigate.
I called Eden’s pest control & told them that we thought that maybe a rodent had gotten into the heating system just based on what our tenants had told us. Eden’s immediately said that they were not authorized to go into the heating ducts and told me so sorry but they couldn’t help me. I was really put off that they wouldn’t try to come to our house and investigate. They were not helpful at all…

I didn’t use this company for the actual fumigation service. I’m actually from Los Angeles, CA! Last Wednesday, I got bit or had a skin reaction to something. At first, I was sure they were from bed bugs so I tore my bed apart to check and became some what psychotic for the past week :(I found 2 bug shells/​casings. I came across EDEN’s website and saw an article saying that carpet beetle larvae can be mistaken with beg bugs. some ppl get a skin rx that looks like beg bug bites, and i have VERY sensitive skin.
I immediately called EDEN and the customer rep told me to email a picture of the shells for their entomologist to identify. They replied back to me the same day with good news. carpet beetles larvae! I also had a local company identify them to be carpet beetles as well. I was so relieved!
Then come Monday, I had another company come and look at the larvae and he told me bed bugs, even took the shells back to the «office» to use the «microscope». I was horrified again! He then went on asking me how many rooms to treat? $ 600 per room. (i have 3 bedrooms). I asked him to tell me why he says they are BB. And these are his exact words: «all insect shells are the same, and we want to believe it’s bed bugs.» My immediate reaction was: WTF? R U F’ing kidding me? Well, I didn’t cuss at him, but i said it in my brain.
Well I emailed EDEN back again to ask if their entomologist is positive and I got a reply the day after. The rep that communicated with me named Kristin. She said the entomologist looked at the picture again and stands by his identification (carpet beetle larvae). very professional and kind customer service. I believe they were from the Olympia WA location based on the phone number.

We have been using Eden for a couple of years now and their service has been excellent. Couldn’t ask for better.

What started as a one-​time service (ant infestation) led to a quarterly maintenance service (by choice). The technicans are always friendly and professional and they never seem to mind when I always forget to unlock the gate for them. One recommedation is to improve their website for easy access to account info and payment method.

We needed Eden due to a local rodent explosion in our neighborhood. The friendly technician quickly identified the source of our problem in our craw space and created a solution for our individual residence. Within the second trip, our problems were solved and we haven’t had any problems since. After hiring Eden, our spider and ant problems have decreased as well. Great service!

We contacted Eden when our tenant in Kirkland told us there seemed to be a rodent problem in the crawlspace. They seem to have got rid of whatever was there and we now have them on a contract with regular check-​ups for a variety of potential problems. There is a cost (and if it were lower I might have put five stars) but our tenants are happy and we are happy. Eden have been great to deal with and I would be happy to recommend them. (Full disclosure: Eden will send me a $ 5 Starbucks gift card for writing a review about my experience and I hope they would do that even if I left a harsh review. I may have written a review about them anyway; as you see I write quite a few.)

Not many people will go to Greenwater, but Eden did. It all started when we had carpenter ant problems. The firsts pest inspector (from another company) we hired seems to be the only one who would service Greenwater. He was horrible, but I didn’t come to find that out until several years later.
Flash forward to today. We found mice in our cabin and of course I was freaked out, disgusted and horrified! I asked a friend if they had any recommendations and he suggested Eden. I call and luckily they came out to Greenwater. What was even better is that Jason our tech knew the area very well and understood the problems that we deal with having a mountain cabin.
Jason was very patient and explained everything to me down to understanding why he did the traps that he did. Also helped me find out how they were getting into the house.
I just had my initial service yesterday, so it was trap set up and blocking all entry points. He is coming back in a week to check traps and see what we are working with. Another added bonus seeing as how I refuse to enter my crawl space let alone to check mouse traps! Glad they will be doing all that for me.
Jason also pointed out where the carpenter ants have been nesting in our home. Because the last pest inspector (who was from another company) only sprayed the permitter he didn’t get rid of the ones that had already made their way into the home. So Jason will be back at our house in May to start treating it for carpenter ants and make sure that they say away from our house.
Having a home in the mountains requires a lot of pest maintenance to keep the bugs and vermin out. Seems to me Jason will be a good fit for my needs.

I was trying to find a smaller pest control company. At my first service w/​Eden, the tech was very informative about what he was doing & answered all my questions. I had special requests due to pets, & he calls ahead of every service (as asked) to make sure my doggies are secure & the door I tell him will be unlocked, is. He locks up after himself every time. :) I appreciate their attention to things that are important to me, beyond just my pest control. I would recommend them to ALL my friends!
