I accidentally armed the alarm system which I inherited from the previous owner and it came off like crazy. I stumbled on this company as they are in my area and I couldn’t be happier with this. Tom came and fixed the issue within less than 10 minutes. He is very knowledgeable and he didn’t ask for a penny when someone can easily milk big money out of my pocket in similar situation. I will definitely use him anytime.

After months of searching we decided to go with these guys. I am so happy we did!!! It’s a local, family owned/​operated company that has been in the areas forever. Tom came out within a couple hours of my call to do a consultation. He is very knowledgeable and many his years of experience in the industry made me feel very confident going with them. The installers were here within a week… they arrived on time, were very professional, kind and knowledgeable. They installed everything and even brought their own vacuum to clean up after themselves. Excellent customer service!!! I cannot recommend highly enough!!!

After reading many negative reviews of the big «national brand» alarm providers I gave Puget Sound Alarm a call. They came recommended from a family member who had been very pleased with the system Puget Sound Alarm installed in their home. I gave them a call and talked to the owner about what type and how much equipment I needed. The next day he emailed a bid that I was pleased with so I set up a day for them to come out and install the system.
On installation day I decided I wanted a bit more equipment, and they had plenty of extra supplies in their truck to meet my needs. Their installation was as clean and as professional as it gets. They also did a great job explaining and walking me through all the functions of the system.
Knowing that the owner, the monitoring station, and billing office is all local gives a lot of piece of mind that someone who cares is monitoring for alarms and if you have any questions about your bill or the system, you won’t have to deal with the hassle of calling a big call center to ask a simple question.

After far too many hours of research on residential security systems and installation companies, I stumbled across Puget Sound Alarm. They are a locally owned and managed company that has been in business in the area for more than 30 years. Of the three companies from whom I received bids — one national firm and two local companies — they were the the most responsive (not surprising when the owner is the one managing the business), the most honest (no hidden fees or attempts to sell me more of a system than I needed), and the most knowledgeable.
The installation team consisted of three people (including two of the owner’s sons). They were prompt, efficient, and thorough. When I called the company the day after the installation to report a defective motion sensor, their team showed up that SAME DAY to replace the broken part and retest the system (the kind of customer service that you don’t see too often these days).
If you’re looking for a company to install a home security system (whether monitored or not), you can’t go wrong with these guys.
