Moving can be difficult and dangerous, especially when you are stuck doing it on your own. Our goal is to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible. From the start, one of our highly experienced move managers will provide a detailed quote/​itinerary for your move, and guide you every step of the way from start to finish. On moving day, you will be greeted by our professional and friendly crew of gentlemen. At this point, it is recommended that you sit back and watch as your furniture/​items are swiftly moved out of your current home, and safely placed in your new home!

History

Established in 2007.

Super Friends was started with a group of friends that moved out to Seattle, all the way from Boston MA. What started as a simple exchange of some moving help for cash, quickly evolved into a business overnight. Since the beginning, we have always hired/​trained the best movers in Seattle, treating all of our employees with love and care. This is the same approach our professional movers use with every customer we have.

I was born in Prostejov, which is a little village about 3 hours east of Prague, in the Czech Republic. In 1988, my parents moved my sister and I over to Sweden for a year, with the hope of living in the United States one day. Once we made it to the states, we settled in the suburbs of Boston, MA where I attended grade school all the way through College (U-​Mass Boston).

After college… I decided to move to Seattle with a group of friends, where I met my wife (Kelsi). Over the past few years, I have lived between Seattle, WA and Portland, OR… overseeing our Seattle, Portland, and Boise offices.

Outside of moving… I enjoy golfing, hiking, skiing, music, restaurants and hanging with family + friends.

Hoisted our couch to a 4th story balcony… Scared the crap out of me but they were awesome! Only took an hour to wrap our couch and lift it up, by hand! No damage, super fast, and efficient team! I’ll definitely be using them again when we need to have our couch removed haha

Thanks to my ‘yelp’ friends and fellow Unilocal reviews, Super Friends is the only moving company locally to move my furniture.
What sings my praises is:
–easy online booking and inquiries
–prompt responses from email and phone
–customized quotes for your move via email vs generic robot response
–first to respond within one-​few hours to my online form inquiry
–ontime for 8−830a arrival time, which is also a small window time vs 1−4hr
–wrapped all my furniture in plastic wrap and moving blankets (love the plastic wrap bc its ready for them to move again when I swoop them up for another soon move!
–careful with my furniture from pickup to drop off (no scratches on my wallls or furniture)
–quick! These guys have brawn with their politeness and respect! So efficient, my move was shorter than expected and cost came lower than quoted!
With my song of praises, you too can get a hallelujah!
One last tip, $ 50 coupon off my next move, oh yeah this girlie is swoonin’!

These guys were fantastic! They (Michael and Danny) called an hour in advance to share what time they’d be there (to the minute!). They got started straight away, were very careful with our belongings. They were efficient and super friendly. It really was a pleasure to deal with them on what is normally a very stressful day. Definitely go with them for your next move!

I used SFM for the second time and again, they were wonderful. It was a difficult move that took well over the estimated time, and these dudes were friendly and in good spirits throughout. The only reason I’m not giving five stars again is because the administrative/​scheduling process left a lot to be desired, maybe just a fluke. Highly recommend and I will use them again. Thank you, Michael, for putting up with us and not stepping on our dogs.

Great job moving our furniture. We only needed them just do to the heavy work (tables, beds, desks, etc.). It was hard to find a mover for the day after Memorial Day, but Super Friends was able to take the bid. They came right on time and finished in 3 hours. The move went smoothly overall.

We hired Super Friends to do a pack and move a 2 bedroom apartment. The crew, led by Chris, showed up on time and worked very hard. They packed on Saturday and moved us on Sunday. We had to move in a short period of time, and they helped make the hectic process easy. I’ll definitely call them for my next move!

These guys definitely deserve their 5 star rating. We used them both for packing and moving services. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I really appreciated the in-​home estimate as it was likely more accurate than anything I could get over the phone. They were prompt, professional, highly competent, extremely pleasant and actually came in below the low end of the estimate. They were highly skilled with complex and delicate items such as a baby grand piano and a large grandfather clock, the latter being quite an ordeal to place given the low ceilings in the new house. If I move again locally I will absolutely patronize them again!

The estimate was painless. The gentlemen came out, walked through our apartment in a matter of minutes, and gave us an estimate of $ 1000, but said it could go up to $ 1250.
The actual amount came out to $ 1250, as a flat-​rate for our move from Seattle to Portland. There is a slight discount, 5%, if you pay in all cash, which is nice. As far as I’m concerned, the price is VERY fair.
Our movers, Kyle and Tony, were extremely polite, gregarious, and made it from Seattle to Portland in great time!
They started at 8:00 a.m., and finished at 4:30 p.m., and they didn’t scratch one piece of furniture. Everything got into our place spotless, and in the condition that it left. The movers showed up on time, made a quick walk through our place, and got to work.
I was a little anxious, prior to the move, but I couldn’t be happier with their professionalism, and level of service.
Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the way this company handled the move, and I would recommend them to any and everyone that is contemplating a move from Seattle to Portland. You will not regret your decision.

We completed our move yesterday with the help of Super Friends Moving. I can’t say enough great things about this company. Easy to book, quick to get back to us with a quote, and fair pricing. Chris, Sam and Buddy were quick and efficient, but at the same time, very careful with our items. They took great care to wrap everything with pads and tape to ensure no dings, dents or scratches. Their people skills are top-​notch. They were respectful and personable. If a moving experience can be enjoyable, ours was! We highly recommend them and will use no other company for future moves.

Excellent, fast response to request for estimate. The downside of being Super Friends is being Super Booked, so request as far in advance as you can. Employees were careful with our stuff, efficient and cool. Okay, one looked a little cheesed but if *you* were moving people all day, wouldn’t you be friends with Mary Jane?
If we ever have to move again (God Forbid!) I’ll call Super Friends. But far in advance.

Kyle, Tony, and Michael did an exceptional job on our move this weekend. They were friendly, considerate, and speedy. Ask for them when you book your moving date!
Minus one star because I felt the cost was high. You get what you pay for and this is as good as it gets!
Also, be advised, they will let you pay with a card, but there is a 3% service fee. I was out of checks and ended up having to pay an additional $ 20, just to give them my money. :(

We did a local move in Tacoma with Super Friends and they were super! I was able to get a good estimate over a few back and forth emails which was great during this really busy time. The movers showed up on time and were very friendly, efficient and overall dos a great job with our move.
I don’t want to move again ever, but if I do, I would definitely use Super Friends again.

James and Chris were fast, efficient, and perfectly careful with my fra-​gee-​lee (fragile) stuff. Hit our target of four hours for a 1-​bedroom move, and comped the travel time because we had a mix-​up on start time. Highly recommended and will use again!

Great Experience! Scheduling the move was quick and easy and I was able to get a time within my timeframe (which was 2 weeks). They were the most reasonably priced company I received quotes from. When the crew got here they were very friendly, quick, and took great care of my belongings. I would use them again and will be referring them to friends. Best moving company I’ve experienced so far!

Thanks, Super Friends Moving for getting my stuff safely and speedily from Seattle, WA to Santa Monica, CA! Finding the right moving company is tough, especially for cross state moves. I wanted to find a local, smaller shop for my move. Going with larger carriers and/​or agencies that place you with larger carriers (think Allied, North American) may save you some $, but not worth it as those services are typically unreliable. Larger carriers need to combine your items with dozens of others to increase scale so you are left with super random ETAs («we will have your stuff to you within 8 – 14 days»).
SFM came on time both to pick up my stuff (Tuesday at 9a) and deliver (four days later on the following Saturday at 8a). Staff was super friendly and communicative. I asked for a half-​pack service because some of my stuff was going to storage and others going directly into the new apartment. These guys did a GREAT job of packing with just the right amount of material. Jakub the manager even offered to have the guys make an extra stop in Santa Monica to deliver the stored items directly to the storage unit… for Free!
All in all, I got great value for the half-​pack service and direct transport of my items down to CA (all in it was only a few hundred more than the larger carriers which would’ve had crappier service and/​or ETAs). Plus, if you pay all cash, the company gives you a 10% discount… not a bad deal at all! Definitely recommend!!!

We moved from Olympia to San Francisco a year ago, and we still think about the phenomenal job that Super Friends did, so here I am on New Years reviewing them on Unilocal.
Not only did they quote us the lowest price of the many moving companies we called, but they were extremely personable and honest. Their attention to detail was top notch, and they were so awesome to stick around after we had all our stuff in our new place to ensure it was all assembled properly.
I can’t give them high enough praise. They are a phenomenal group of hard-​working people.

I have never used a professional moving company before, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Since I found this place on Unilocal with such great reviews, I now get to add one of my own :)
I used the Tacoma branch to move from a 1bd apartment into a house about 5 miles north. I booked it a week in advance with their easy to use website, and someone got back to me within the allotted time with an official estimate (pluses one and two!)
Suddenly my mom told me she had 2 couches she was willing to give me from her house so I had to change the starting location only 2 short days before the move. They were completely flexible, and moved the starting location to my mom’s house. They even showed up early! They got the couches out in less than 5 minutes and into their giant truck (pluses 3,4, and 5!)
They beat me to my apartment and my new house! They emptied my apartment in about 20 minutes!
They were friendly and professional, and I would highly recommend them to you!
