The good news – I was able to walk in and get a pedicure right away. The bad news-​They cut my toe. I felt like she was rushing through the job and obviously she was… my toe was nicked! Not unfriendly, but certainly not going out of their way to make you feel welcome… and no apology for the toe. The shop is also kind of dingy. I won’t be going back.

I went here yesterday after being turned away from a couple other nail places in Stoneham as a walk-​in for a pedi. Nice people. Turned out decent. No hard sell, no anything as others have said. A bit more expensive than I had hoped but, overall a good experience.

Other reviewers said they had a bad time here, I haven’t gotten a bad pedicure there (yet.) I hope I don’t! Ugh. I used to come here more often than I do now, I’m making a list and it requires me to review this place.
I’ve had manicures, acrylic full set (and replacements), fills and pedicures here with no true issue other than the language barrier and the upselling they try to do. Naaah.
I find the atmosphere is great in here, not too bright and it’s relaxing with the semi darker colors and mood lighting along with the music. There are a ridiculous amount of chairs here though for nails and toes, I am unsure if they all ever get used.
I’ve always had a decent experience with Garden and their staff, since I went back several times for multiple services; clearly if I went back a few times. I don’t go all the time but when I do I’m always welcomed. Not the «we remember you, good to see you,» welcome; more of the «yes, money just walked in the door,» welcome, which doesn’t bother me. When I did go often, I liked to pretend they knew I was a customer.

Ok Pedicure but pushy people and disgusting! My pedi lady kept Trying to upsell me services, which is fine but it was uncomfortable because she would look mad after I denied. Towards the end of my pedicure I noticed another staff member mopping the store. She stuck the mop in one of the pedi baths, I thought she was cleaning the tub with a mop (which is nasty) but then I noticed she was using it as a mop bucket! And I gave her the most disgusted look and ended my pedicure early. It’s a shame because the place is nice and convenient. I will never go to any of these nail salons ever.
