My husband and I tried this place on a lark. It certainly isn’t anything to look at on the outside, but the food is DELICIOUS!
We routinely get the supreme pizza… it is our default. We also LOVE their pepperoni roll and spinach roll, as a nice appetizer. I personally like them even better than the pizza!
The stuffed pizza is enormous. It fed my husband and I for 3 meals… and at $ 20 that’s a bargain!
This is our go-​to place from now on… no more Pizza Hut or Papa John’s at our house! I love being able to support local business, instead of the national chain restaurants. I just wish that Italiano’s delivered, because sometimes carry-​out can be inconvenient.

I tried other pizza spots in the area— but my NewYork Husband loves this place the best. (I as well).

The marinara is the best. I’d buy it by the bucket if they sold it that way. Everything is fresh & prepared with love/​skill. These folks show pride in their fare and you can taste it.

Lost my order sat there for 45 minutes… There were only two other people there… Couldn’t believe it! Really!

Fantastic!!! By far and away, the BEST pizza place on Temple.
I read excellent reviews about Italiano’s, and I had high expectations. I ordered cheese sticks, garlic knots, and an extra large pepperoni pizza for my daughter and myself. My wife ordered a house salad and a margarita pizza.
First, I love the restaurant. As Tessio said, in the Godfather, «It’s perfect for us. A small family place… where people can talk in private. Good food. Everyone minds their business. Perfect.»
Second, the service was top notch. I called the order over the phone. The person took my order and then read it back to me to make sure he had it right. No one does this anymore, and that’s why orders get screwed up. It’s the little things that matter.
Third, the food. AMAZING!!! I mean, WOW!!! Everything was perfect. The pizza was large, cheesy, and floppy. Just the way I like it. The cheese sticks were the perfect size. Not too big, not too small, and cooked to perfection.
Everything was perfect. Italiano’s has earned my business for as long as I live in Temple. I look forward to many future meals at Italiano’s.

Being from NY I give this place 4 stars. It’s the best place in Temple to stop by and grab a slice or 3. They take pride in the pizzas they make. The salads are good and I have never had anything that I didn’t like. Support local and not national generic chains!!! A++

I am new to Temple and went online to find the best pizza in town. Wow! The reviews are right. this is the overall tastiest pizza I have ever eaten. The price is great and the service was wonderful. The restaurant is very nice and has a neighborhood feel. We look forward to being in the mood for pizza again! Don’t miss this treat!

This was an awful experience from the beginning to the end. Our food was made wrong, we were overcharged, and when I tried to politely talk with the owner; he was extremely loud and rude. I will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

This place was good and an amazing value. That being said, I was hoping for a great New York style pizza, and while it looks like one, it’s not. The dough was soft and chewy and tasted good, but it didn’t have that slight crispness it needs. The sauce was very bland but it was covered in great quality cheese. But for $ 10.99 for an 18 in, it’s a very good product.
Also ordered the garlic knots, they were okay.
Overall for tej value and quality we will be back, but it’s not the best pizza ever. They also have many Italian subs and pastas.
Went back today to try pasta. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs and Greek salad. Pretty disappointed. Service was good, but the Greek salad was not as described.
It was described to have romaine, it was an iceberg mix with cabbage and carrots. It was supposed to have cucumbers and it didn’t. It didn’t have dressing either. It did have a ton of get and it was good but it was so much feta I never thought I could have too much.
The spaghetti was not great. Very watery, bland sauce, and meatball has no seasoning. Good price but my son wouldn’t eat it and he loves spaghetti.
I’ll stick to pizza at this place.

Italiano’s has got it going on.
This place may seem slightly sketch, tucked away in an old shopping strip next to a gas station, but it’s better than any chain out there.
The pizza is always hot but still great cold the morning after. They use 100% real cheese, and the slices are BIG. It’s hard to find a slice here in TX that actually tastes (and doesn’t just resemble) NY style pizza but Italiano’s could hang out with Yankees. The Garlic Knots and Pepperoni rolls are great as well. Kevin McCalister is my boy so in honor of him my go-​to is a slice of classic cheese.
Prices are reasonable, you can carry out an XL Pizza for only $ 10.99. The service is typically pretty nice, they’ve even given us free drinks before. Just don’t arrive too close to closing and order something big, they’ll do it but they’ll be a noticeably ticked.

We chose this place to eat dinner based on Unilocal reviews and we were not disappointed! We had already left two other places before arriving at Italiano’s, (we aren’t from the area and did not know our way around), kind of close to closing.
Even so, we still received stellar service and the freshest food… no end of the day leftovers here! Theses guys are great! We had great tasting, fresh food at affordable prices!!! Highly recommend Italiano’s!!!

My new pizza place in Temple.

This place is always great! What gets me coming back is the super low prices! You can get an 18″ pizza with one topping (to-​go) for under $ 12 and most entrees are about $ 7 and they never fail to fill me up. Personally, I can never get enough of the baked ziti and my husband loves their strombolis. The dining room isn’t very large but remember that you can get your food to go. Don’t forget to try a cannoli for dessert! Like most restaurants in Temple, they are not open very late so no late-​night snacks from here.
