Oh man, this is some good pizza. The crust is slightly crispy on the outside and on the thinner side — it’s probably my favorite part. You can tell they’re using a high quality cheese and the sauce is slightly sweet — so good. We were here last night for dinner and had a pepperoni/garlic pizza with the antipasto salad. Pizza was great as always and the salad was too. They have a wonderful homemade ranch dressing. Not sure if the Italian dressing is also homemade but it’s very good as well. I can’t comment on their pasta since we always stick with the reliably delicious pizza. Service is always friendly and helpful. I want to go back right now.

Very good for the price. I had a dinner salad and two slices of cheese pizza. Salad was iceberg lettuce but very fresh. Very small portion of salad. Dressing was served in a squeeze bottle, old school, and excellent. The pizza slices were huge. Cheese was good but dripping grease, and crust was thin and a bit over-cooked. My husband had spaghettini marinara. Noodles cooked perfectly, but chef forgot to drain water, instead left water in the bottom of the spaghetti bowel. Over-all, good plain food for the price. I was disappointed because menu seemed dated, with little awareness of meatless dishes and how popular they are now. With a little updating of the menu, this place could be a little jewel.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. As a kid, my parents used to take us to old pizzerias when real fresh ingredients were used. For years I tried looking for pizza of that caliber with no success… until now. You can taste the fresh ingredients and attention to detail. We will be back

This is the second time I have been here and both times I asked for my pizza to be extra crispy. He said they are already done so we can’t do that. Is that a joke all he has to do is leave it in a little longer. Also he could use a lesson in smiling and be more happy. The salad was fresh and tasty. The pizza was hot and great. But in both occasions I and a few other people were there at lunch and HEBOTHTIMES left my salad on the table. Should have been cleared right away. That’s why 3 star take care of the customer !!!

We were taken to Pizzeria La Piccola for pizza… the best pizza in town… and it was. We were told the wait was to be 40 mins they called us in 10. The four of us chose different pizzas and shared to taste. each one was more delicious than the one before. A few evenings later, we went out with other friends who suggested we go to Pizzeria La Piccole for pizza. We were delighted. Again, we were told the wait would be 30mins and they called us in 5. We had the same great service and the pizzas were delicious. best pizzas in California for sure.

My FAVORITE pizza spot ever! Everything’s so good, and the employees are even better! Such fresh ingredients, I never feel yucky and food coma-ish after. I’m a regular, and I always just get the small plain cheese pizza with a side salad every time — I’m more of a «less is more» eater when the food’s that good. I always, and will continue to, recommended anyone in the area who’s looking for a good, authentic Italian spot to go to Pizzeria La Piccola.

We ordered a 16-inch ½ pepperoni, ½ sausage pizza($ 18.05) and got an all pepperoni and sausage pizza. Not tragic. The pizza is good, but if you’re from the East coast, we call this Greek Pizza — sweet, non-doughy crust. The lady at the front(owner?) was very pleasant. Got a menu for dinner to try next time, and she gave me a 10% coupon for dine-in. As for a pizza take-out place, I’ll keep looking.

This is an awesome little restaurant! I’m always a fan of supporting local, family-owned businesses… and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s quiet and lovely little place… pizza is wonderful! And, they have very cool family dinner specials that are super affordable… A Dinner for 2 is a Pizza with 2 toppings, garlic bread, dinner salad, pasta with choice of meatballs or sausage. Only $ 25! You can’t beat it! Lots of food, too! My only recommendation is to ask for ‘al dente’ on the pasta as the past 2 times we’ve had it, it has been overcooked(bit mushy). Give it a try! Great place and you’ll be supporting a family-owned business!

I am really happy my friends and I tried this place last night. In my opinion, there is nothing better than a small business that serves good food. Dinners come with a little salad(good salad dressing!) and garlic bread. We ordered mozzarella sticks(a pretty large portion for the price), lasagna(not the biggest portion, but yummy), chicken parmesan, antipasto salad, calzone, and a veggie pizza. I liked everything, but the pizza was my favorite. The owner was sweet and took good care of our table. I could tell she takes pride in her restaurant. Can’t wait to go back with my hubby for a casual and enjoyable date night. :)

Pizzeria La Piccola came onto our radar from previous Unilocal reports. My wife and I shared a 14″ La Piccola Deluxe pizza. The crust was crunchy and the toppings were very tasty and fresh. We started off with a small dinner salad escorted by a nice glass of Chianti for my wife and a wonderful Peroni beer for me. We ate in and enjoyed everything. It was a refreshing change from the chain pizza places.

I was looking for a quiet place to enjoy a meal with a friend. The kind of place that doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Having tried a pizza to go when they were at a previous location I decided to try dining at the new one. As soon as we walked in I smiled. It’s exactly the kind of place you go when you want to enjoy dinner in a quiet more relaxed setting. We were waited on by to women who could have been my own relatives. I felt as if my Italian aunts were making me dinner. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was good. The chicken parmesan was delicious. I look forward to trying some other dishes soon.

Found this place about a month ago and have really enjoyed their food and sweet friendly service. I usually get the calzone and it is AMAZING!!! My husband gets the lasagna and says it’s some of the best he has had. Great little local pizza spot!

Do you think, if I wish the STRONGEST wish on the BRIGHTEST star, that Santa will bring me a cannoli from La Piccola? Because that(along with one of their pizzas), is all I want for Christmas…

My kids are big fans of Toppers Pizza but we were at RX Fitness next door and decided to try this place. All were happy with the choice as the posted photos attest. The thin crust pizza was great as was the bolognese, as well as the sausage & peppers. Carlos the cook/server on duty at 4:30 has been there 9 years and was very friendly and helpful. This is a quaint little place, much more intimate than the other places.

Yummy pizza with a nice but casual sit-down atmosphere. Salads aren’t very creative, which would have made it great. I overheard a conversation saying the new location is bigger than the old location, though it is still small(six tables) and people were waiting and there were lots of to-go orders/pickups. Our service was friendly and overall was okay, though I ended up going to the register to complete by credit card transaction because the two waitresses were doing other things. Actually, I’d say there was only one waitress plus what I’d surmise from other reviews here was the owner’s wife. Two regular waitresses would have handled things fine, but the owner’s wife was older and not very fast or efficient about things. Someone else while we were there ended up walking out before getting their meal, though I didn’t hear what the problem was and the waitress ended up comping the bread and drinks they’d already gotten. All that said, we will DEFINITELY go back, as it was a friendly, good atmosphere and the pizza was great.

I’ve been a patron of Piccola’s for about 3 years and have always ordered pizza. The pizza itself is delicious. probably some of the best I’ve had in the 15 years I’ve lived in So Cal. The crust is perfect. always hot, fresh and toasty. Based on pizza alone they would get 5 stars from me. It’s in the other areas that I feel they fall short. I was recently disappointed to find out that they don’t offer the«all you can eat» pizza lunch special which was $ 6.99 which included soda and a side salad. now their«lunch special» is 1 slice of pizza, soda, and a side salad for $ 6.49. this is NOT what I would call a special. The guy who usually works the register is not very friendly. have never seen him smile and he’s been there since I can remember. The last time I was in there it was way too hot inside so I ate and left ASAP. I try to support local business’ and I hope they can get it together.

In an attempt to support small local businesses I decided not to pick up a pizza from Toppers or Roundtable and went with Pizzeria La Piccola. Located in an small, awkward shopping center across from the Toyota dealership, PLP is a tiny Italian restaurant that I hope survives the immense competition on T.O. Blvd. As a baseline for all pizza places, I decided to go with the large pepperoni to-go. Placing the order on the phone was easy enough and the pie was ready to go when I arrived 15 minutes later. When walked inside the 5 – 6 table restaurant was empty but of course I was there about 30 minutes before closing. After taking the pie home for dinner I was pleased with my purchase. The ingredients were fresh and the crust was crisp. The pizza is a bit more on the thinner side but that did not detract from the taste of the pizza. Price was affordable but by no means cheap. In the end I felt good about supporting a small local establishment. PLP did yoeman’s work in regards to my pizza fix. Although I might not be a «regular» here I would consider coming back here for another pie. The Mexican specialty looks tempting!

Good atmosphere and really nice service. I ordered a XLarge veggie pizza. Good non chain place. The pizza was cheesy and had the right amount of sauce. Good amount of toppings. Wasn’t sparse or uneven in placement! I liked that the pizza was thin with a chewy airy crust. Sauce tasted like a clean marinara. Recommend the pizza!
