History
Established in 1962.
Ace Hardware Stores, Inc. was incorporated in Tucson in 1962, and was the FIRST Ace Hardware Store in Arizona. We are locally owned and managed, and an affiliate of the Ace Hardware co-operative; comprised of over 6,000 stores in the U.S. and over 500 stores in 70 countries worldwide.
The Golf Links Ace Hardware location was first opened in 1991. It was originally located in the shopping center on the Southwest corner of Golf Links and Harrison. Due to the expanding inventory it soon outgrew that space
In July 2001, the store moved into its own free standing location across Harrison to the Northeast corner of Golf Links and Harrison.
