Renè is amazing! Always makes my nails look bomb! She is very honest and takes her time! I picked black shellac today and she was extra careful since it is a hard color to get perfect. Thank you!

First time coming here and I am obsessed! Everybody is so sweet my sister and I got our nails done by Farnaz and she was the sweetest person. She introduced us to «sculptured nails» which look so much more natural and light– it’s like they’re not even there! Perfect! She made sure my sister and I loved our nails every step of the way and you could tell she loved her job and made sure it was the best. I already booked my fill appointment with her and I’m so glad I did because our nails are perfect! Thanks again everybody!
I’ve now been coming every 2 weeks for a fill and never leave disappointed! Thanks Farnaz! You’re the best!

Farnaz is very sweet and loves her job. I enjoyed her energy. she introduced me to something called sculpture. Its acrylic nails without the fake nail needing to be glued on. I think it looks more natural and its better for my nails. She paid close attention to detail and was so willing to do them over if needed. I will for sure see her again.

Ive been going to the nail shop for around 3 years and even have had my hair cut by the boys in the barber shop. The review that says rene gave her an infection is a total lie because rene the owner doesn’t do pedicure so how could she personally give an infection, as well as what the reviewer left out is that she had gone to other nail shops before rene and that’s why rene took off the set (obviously it was a bad set, i mean like it gave her a fungus). rene is great and she does great nails. Literally come in with any design in mind and she will try to replicate it. Wait time isn’t too bad if you make you appointment in advance, but she accepts all walk ins.

I was a D&R Nails last night, Rene did a new set of nails on me. I got a French tip as I always do but this time instead of nail polish she did glitter to make them look fall like colors. First and foremost, I’d like to say that this isn’t the number for the salon which was where I wanted to go. I can’t seem to find the Unilocal for it but my reviews for Lisa who did my nails!
She’s great! Super nice and though we didn’t have a very long conversation, it didn’t feel awkward to sit in silence. I had a long day at work and really didn’t want to chat much and she didn’t pressure me with 10 000 questions.
I had the shellac with French tips and a new design for her to do! I showed her a picture of on I had before and she just said she will try to make that design and she did! Yaeeee! Anyways, totally coming back!

I went to this nail shop this morning and got a pedicure and a manicure. The pedicure was wonderful. They do line the basin and so it all felt very clean. I am very happy with my pedicure from Lisa. I also got a manicure from Rene and I’m loving how it turned out. Great job on the cuticles and perfect polish.
I will definitely return here. Lively conversation and a nice place to be.

Great place & great barbers! They are patient with my 3 boys ages 10, 8 & 7. Ive tried 2 different barbers & both were great. I always get bald fades with 2 on top! They are clean & get the job done!

I absolutely loved the customer service. I had a long day, thought I was walking in at 6; asked for gel they said «sure!» After 5 minutes I looked at the time saw it was actually 7 and asked if it was okay or if I should come back tomorrow. Said it was no problem. Had Cindy and she was great! She really pays attention to detail, I loved it! Definitely coming back.

The sign outside says they closed at 7pm. People were still inside at 8:15pm. I was desperate to get a mani/​pedi for my 9-​day trip, which starts tomorrow, so I peeked in to take a chance. Renee was kind enough to take me in and Cindy was kind enough to agree to stay to give me a pedi. She did a GREAT job! She took her time and did my pedi w/​great attention to detail! Renee then gave me a mani and also did an awesome job! I had a nice chat w/​them both. I’m definitely coming back.

Complete waste of time… people don’t know how to run a business… waited 2 and half hours to walk out without a haircut… don’t waste ur money here…“barbers” will cut other «barbers» hair before they get to you… they eve have «rules» which they don’t even follow… what a joke

Not very professional. All the barbers think they’re hella too cool or something. I seen a bunch of ppl go in there and looked hella uncomfortable cuz these guys don’t make anyone feel welcomed. I only go there as a last resort. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Update: I am kind of disappointed because my nail broke already after just 12 days. That’s the only issue I have. The strength of the nail is not as what I expected it to be.

I drive all the way here because they do a good job. The owner Renee is awesome. She tries her best to make every customer leaving her shop happy. I love that as long as you know exactly what you want done in your nails, she can make it happen!

I recently went in for a shellac manicure with Tran.
Tran did an amazing job on my nails! So happy with the results. I’ve been going to many different nail salons and this is now going to be my place to go! Their prices are also really good! $ 25 for shellac manicure and $ 30 for French tip shellac manicure.

I randomly came here one day a few months back because I needed to get my nails done for my birthday, and I within walking distance of the salon.
I called and asked about pricing for gel shellac nails ($ 25 at the time) and made an appointment.
My nails were done by Cindy and she was wonderful. She’s extremely detailed and genuinely cares for your hand and you! We had great conversation while she cleaned my hands and put on the shellac. It took about an hour (once I sat in her chair).
I went around noon and although I had an appointment, I waited a few mins. which was alright with me but that’s why they are getting ⁴⁄₅ stars. Cindy made my experience here worth while — I recommend seeing her!!!

I was visiting in from out of town and took a chance at coming after reading some of the reviews! Let me tell we were greeted with what seem to be an excuse that it may take awhile.
The gentlemen came off that he was the owner and indicated that there was already one person waiting ahead of me. He was Asian and my son and I are mixed Asians. His second question was if we has an appt, NO did you not hear we were visiting from out of town!
Third excuse was most of barbers were either on lunch or fully booked. Guess they do 3pm lunches on a Friday!
Reality, we weren’t going to get in!!! It’s a local homie spot and I’m so assuming if you ain’t African American you ain’t getting in VIP! We eventually decided to go next door and have this nice Vietnamese guy attempt to give us a FADE! At least he was polite and didn’t ignore us like this barbershop!

I don’t get my nails done often, but the habit is starting to grow.
I got a full set (acrylic + gel) at some random place in SF 3 weeks ago. I figured I’d get them filled since I wasn’t ready to part with the beautiful noise fake nails make when you click them together.
I Unilocaled nails in Union City and this place popped up. I stopped by after work on Friday hoping they’d have a spot available. They were packed for the next hour and half so I made an appointment for the next day.
I showed a few minutes early to my noon appointment. Didn’t get seated until about 10 minutes later, but Rene (the owner) was accommodating. I had square shaped nails and wanted them shaped into the ever so trendy stiletto — pointy clawz.
I don’t know why, but for some reason I get really nervous every time I get my nails done. Rene noticed that and told me I needed a drink. Next thing I know one of her employees buys me Budlight Straw-​ber-​ita (MAH FAV!) My lightweight self, quickly relaxed. Needless to say, one of the most personable and tipsiest experiences at a nail salon: D
I was pretty pleased with the final product (took about and hour and half & $ 40). Minor flaws include a few itty bitty bubbles on a few nails, small flecks of glitter on nails that should not have glitter (expected collateral from working with loose glitter), and some unevenness at the cuticle on one of the nails (barely noticeable).
Definitely going to come back in a few weeks for mah fill. And I’ll make sure to make an appointment ahead of time :3

Was my first time getting stiletto nails so I was pretty nervous, but it came out better than I expected. I had my nails done by Cindy and she was great; funny, straight forward, and talented.
This salon has a beautiful, clean atmosphere with very sweet workers. Definitely will be a regular here.
