XO Moving System

In 5÷13÷16 was the second time I’ve used this company. however the people they sent this time was not the same people they sent 2 yrs ago. the head guy said that the person got promoted within the company (as he well deserved).
the guys that moved us this time were slow as molasses. it took them the same amount of time to move us within 7 miles compare to 48 miles 2 yrs ago. I had the same amount of furniture from last time too. these guys looked like they were stoned.
They broke my daughter’s dresser on the edge, they broke the top portion of my desk, they messed up assembling our cal king bed frame by screwing the slats into a different hole and then losely put the support legs together causing it to buckle when we laid on our bed.
They are so slow that I had to assemble my own dining room table. the guy that tried assemble my fridge handle for 30 minutes and almost stripped the thread so I had to take over.
We tried to claim the damages through their insurance, but they only offered $ 69 through their insurance for all the damages that the workers incurred. I’m pretty sure that if the truck they drive crash and burn with all your furniture they will not pay for all your stuff because you didn’t get their insurance. they damage your furniture by their recklessness, they will not claim responsibility.
I wish I could post some photos of my damaged furniture but I don’t have the option to do that.
Needless to say, I DO NOT RECOMMENDED this company to anyone. The people they hire is a representation of their company. if they want to hire lazy and slow people that don’t care about their job and the people they serve, then this company will get this kind of review

I finally have time to write a long, well-​deserved and overdue review. My family is a repeat customer of XO Moving System. We have used them a few times and have been very satisfied and impressed with their services each time. They’ve done simple and very complex moves for us and have proven themselves time and time again. We are surely customers for life!
XO Moving System has done an outstanding job in hiring only the best and most responsible and trusted movers. I am sure that all their foremen and moving crew are excellent but we specifically ask for Victor Vargas and his crew each time we move. Victor and his crew treat everything they touch like it were their own, handling all our furniture and belongings gently and with extra care. I have seen how they work a few times before, but they never fail to amaze me how they can keep a smile on their faces no matter how tired they are. We were their second move that day, but even under the beating heat of the sun, they had energy and speed like it was their first job. They barely stopped for water break and moved at a consistent speed from start to finish.
Victor, their foreman, was very well organized in directing his crew on how to complete the job from start to finish. Being as particular as I am, he listened carefully to how I wanted things done. He not only did all that I requested but he made sure that the job turned out better than instructed. He would inform me on their progress almost every hour. He and his team saran wrapped all our furniture and protected those with glass with boxes and/​or blankets. Everybody in the team worked equally as hard, efficient, and fast in an organized fashion. Each one had their own responsibilities and carried them well to perfection.
XO Moving System is one of the best I have ever worked with. If every moving company is like them, moving would be much less stressful. The company and their crew put all the big named moving companies who promise more than they can deliver to shame. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for moving services. They provide excellent service from the initial phone call to the completion of the job. They will always accommodate you even at the last minute, get the job done faster than the estimated time and will make sure you get the lowest rate and the absolute best service. Their service is worth every dime and there’s no job too big for this dedicated team. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME SHOPPING AROUND… CALL THEM TODAY!

So, here’s the deal. I have used these guys 2x. The first time it was awesome! They were efficient, ok on speed, and packed my items really well into a storage space… or so I thought! That leads me to the 2^nd time I used them… They guys picked up my stuff from the storage space and loaded it into the truck, that seemed ok. I felt like they were were moving a little slower than I would have liked, but, it just got worse. Well, as they were pulling my stuff out to load on the truck, I noticed some of my furniture was not packed and wrapped properly. I spoke to «the manager» who was the office admin (I found out later) So, they gave me a little bit of a deal, I didn’t feel it was much considering my stuff was damaged! (I’m not the type to look for compensation but, I have had most of my furniture for a long time and I always kept everything like new) We get to my new place, and they start unloading, the foreman asked to use my bathroom, which was fine. Well turns out it wasn’t he took along time in there, and what happens, yes, he floods my toilet, water on the floor, and he tries to clean up by using up ALL my toilet paper. So, I bleach my entire bathroom. He apologies and feels embarrassed, ok, so I felt bad but was VERY ANNOYED. Back to my stuff, they assembled my items and unloaded everything as asked. When I unpacked and unwrapped everything, I noticed most of my furniture was damaged or chipped in some way, glassware was broken. I called the office talked to several people filled out paperwork to file a claim. NOTHING HAPPENED! They didn’t call me back after that, they never compensated me for the damages… this went on for 10 months! I tried to call back alot… but, nothing.
My advice: STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE! Moving is stressful enough and this situation went from ugly, to uglier.

So here’s the deal. The people that do the packing and delivery are hardworking, efficient, and somewhat nice. I say somewhat because when I received the property the guy started out rude on the phone because there were some issues I had with the office, but he was nice when he got there. The guys who packed us were amazing! They were were such pros!
The office staff left a lot to be desired. I just needed an ETA on my stuff getting to Texas (2 weeks after I requested my property) and they could not give me an ETA other than a two day window 4 days before the delivery. The driver called 30 mins before the delivery and was frustrated at me because I didn’t know what was going on.
The three days leading up to my delivery, I called everyday and was told I would get a call back after they talk to the driver. I never did. Needless to say I was very frustrated. I had to reserve a dock to avoid an extra fee (long Cary) which ½ would have been avoided if I got more of a notice. I understand the 2 week wait, but I don’t understand why I didn’t get AT LEAST a 24 hour notice, my calls returned, or a break on the fee I was charged because of the inability to give me a solid day. I felt like they were avoiding phone calls in order to nickel and dime me. That’s probably not the case, but when it’s radio silence I’m left to my own conclusions.

This is the first time we used a moving company to complete a move as we had an entire house to pack and move. Alan, jovani and Felipe came within the scheduled time frame and where very methodical in the process. I was explained all the rates and the process went smoothly. The overall move was completed within time as well

I had a very positive experience with XO who I originally contacted by filling in a form at
. they were the only company to review my already entered inventory and provide a realistic price, not just quoting hourly rates. May was very responsive finalizing my quote and booking the move. Victor, leader of the team was well organized and tried to make the move efficient as I was moving from a 3^rd floor walk up. This saved time for Carlos and Antonio, and saved me money! The final price was below the quote. I would contact them again for a move.

They were great. We moved my home recently and they completed less than 1 Hour of the proposed time.

Alan, Dennis, Filipe and Alferado arrived just in the given timeframe. The packing and moving process was very smooth. They took special care and their job looked like real seasoned professional packers and movers. I was impressed by the fact that Alan explained me the moving contract step by step and answered all my questions. Cheers to your team and all your help in my move to an another State :)

This is the first moving company i hired to help with my most recent move in Union City. Scheduling the move was easy and everything was taken care on the phone. I spoke with May Coronado and she was very professional and good at analyzing customer needs. I scheduled my move on the phone with May and e-​signed the paper work she sent in mail. That is as easy as it could get…
The move was scheduled when I wanted and the movers were on time (no delays at arrival)
On the day of the move, Alan called me ahead while the team (Alan, Antonio and Jeron) is on the way to my place. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The team on 3 arrived on time and Alan walked me through paper work. Once the paper work was done, the clock started and within 1.5 hrs the loading was all done. These guys mean business and they consider time as money (no wasting). I was surprised they didn’t even have a bottle of water the whole time.
The payment was due before unloading which was as per the terms discussed during paper work (no hidden charges). Once payment was done, unloading was completed in 1 hr.
End of day, I was very satisfied with my move and I had the pleasure of meeting Alan, Antonio and Jeron. I recommend this company to anyone with the same positive feedback.

This is the second time we have used XO for Bay Area moves. I have moved a lot in my career and they are by FAR the best movers I have ever worked with. The office staff (May & co) worked with us on a difficult moving schedule and bent over backwards to make it work.
Victor, Greg, and crew called ahead to let us know they were on the way, showed up right on time, and got right to work. They are FAST and courteous and we could not be happier with our service
We got the white glove service where they do all of the packing and bring all of the materials and even open the boxes at your destination and put the furniture back together. I found their prices to be very competitive — much less than companies who do full service moved like they do.
They packed an entire 4 BR /​3.5 BA house in @ 4 hours. With a 40 mile drive and unloading, unpacking, and putting things back together they finished everything in one normal working days hours. No one took breaks no one was moving slow and they were extremely careful wrapping and taking care of our things.
If you are considering hiring movers in the Bay Area — call XO and ask for Greg and Victors crew. I am sure the others are just as good but this crew was awesome.

These guys are fantastic! Alan, Dennis, and Martin showed up on time, communicated well, worked fast, and paid attention to detail. They wrapped up delicate items, with all moveable parts and nothing was lost. They moved a piano effortlessly and made jokes along the way. Plus they got everything done under their estimated time. I highly recommend them and would hire them again for my next move!

If there could be 5 PLUS rating, XO Movers would have that rating. In January XO Movers came and picked up all my furniture along with about 60 boxes. They were professional and got the job done quickly and professionally. For now everything is in their storage facility. The REAL REASON I am writing this post is to congratulate XO for hiring KASHMIR. She is a bright, caring and knowledgeable addition to the team. She answered all my questions and even anticipated some before I even asked. Kudos to XO Movers, once again you impress me… and that’s hard to do. Thank you !!! Highly recommend !!

These guys are so quick (and careful) at moving your house I’m fairly certain some laws of physics need adjustment. Alan, Carlos, Marvin and Felipe all are solid blokes and should be requested for your next move.

Overall, this was the best long-​distance moving experience I’ve had, with just a few issues that got in the way of a 5-​star rating. Consider this to be a 3.5 star rating rounded up to a 4 (but in my experience, that’s amazing for a moving company).
The good part is that their pick-​up crew was friendly, professional, helpful, and careful with my belongings. They took their time to properly wrap and box everything to make sure all items, especially the fragile ones, were protected. They were also in good communication with me on the day of the move.
The drop-​off crew was equally good and followed my instructions regarding placement of boxes, furniture, and objects diligently.
Here’s what I would improve:
(1) I was quoted a price based on weight (who the heck knows what all of their property weighs anyway?), but not given the option up front of a flat-​fee move. The head of the pick-​up crew ended up presenting this, but I would have rather known my choices up front.
(2) They do outsource/​coordinate with other companies and ended up handing my delivery to Revolution Moving Systems. I don’t have complaints about the job that group performed, but would have liked to know up front who would be transporting my belongings.
(3) There was confusion about the method of payment. I was originally told I could pay with cash, cashier’s check, or credit card (with a 5% surcharge). The day before the move, I was told only cash or a post office money order would be accepted. Eventually they honored the original terms, but I had to take the time to fight back on this point. Also, they did not handle the Unilocal discount properly without me reminding them several times.
In summary, the service was good and the price fair, but the experience could have even been better with just a few changes.

This moving company is the best moving company in the world, the people that work there are the most warmest, patient, caring, kindest, friendliest people I have ever met. i will always trust this group of wonderful people. I really appreciate Mellissa, Ashton, Juan, Tammy, Isiah, and the other office workers who take their time with every customer to make sure they get treated fairly! They’re always trying to help customers get the best moving price than other competition. The warehouse workers take very extra care in handling the customers merchandise. One of their main goals is to satisfy their customers. I’ve been to the warehouse on many occasions and they’re very professional and the environment is very very well kept, cleanliness is top priority on their agenda. The rest room itself is well kept and extra clean! I really enjoy just going there to visit the employees, they’re so kind and receptive to everyone that comes through their doors, at XO moving everyone is family!!!

We moved everything from the apartment to the storage and they really placed in a weird and uncomfortable way, even to just check what’s in there as we came back after 5 months and have a major headache.
Plus a couple of boxes are missing with some important stuff in it.
Some furniture were scratched and one of them broken on top drawer.
some ceramic broken and glasses broken.
Basically An half disaster costed even more than what they said on the quote.

Reading the reviews after my own terrible experience with this incompetent company,
it looks like X O are good at local moving. If you are moving far away, they are completely
worthless. AVOID. BETTER TO PAY A LITTLE MORE ELSEWHERE.

From when the moment they called us to tell us they were scheduled to be out here by 9:30am to when they unloaded, all the movers were super courteous and efficient. We watched them pack and they handled everything professionally. Even though our bed base (temprapedic) was SUPER heavy, they didn’t say anything and carried it down 3 flights of stairs!!!
If we ever move again, I will definitely use them! I highly recommend them.
