History

Established in 2014.

David is an old fashion type of man, his word is everything. At 18 David started in the tree business he was a ground man for awhile but was quickly introduced to climbing. He worked for that company for about 7 yrs. Than David moved to a different company because he had a family to support. He worked there for 11 years as climber before he went out on his own in 2014. He has been a climber for 17 years.

David also has 3 boys and wanted to have a family business to raise them in and give them the option to be part of it.

We have a large tree in our back yard that had mistletoe in it and also needed some palm trees cleaned up on the side of our driveway. Dave gave me a reasonable quote and did a great job. He was honest with me about what needed to be done with the tree, which I greatly appreciated. He & his guys did the work efficiently and cleaned everything up well.

This review is a little late. Am/​pm trees is a great company. I called 3 different companies out for a quote. Am/​pm came in at half the price of everyone else. They pruned my trees and gave me advice on how to maintain them. Their crew was good. They cleaned up everything after they were finish. I will continue to use this company.

After searching for our missing indoor kitty for 3 days, we spotted her near the top of a 50 ft. tree in our yard. No way could we leave her up there another night. I called around to find some help. The fire dept wouldn’t come out, animal control was closed. Then I turned to the expert — Google! I searched for cat rescue, and a few places came up. Called a couple of them, no answer. Well it was Saturday late afternoon, so I figured most places would be closed. But AM/​PM answered right away. Brittany was very reassuring that they could help us. She sent Dave & his crew right over. All of them were very professional and seemed to really care about rescuing our kitty! Sure enough, Dave scampered right up the tree. I could hear him talking gently to the kitty to calm her. She didn’t resist at all. As he was rapelling back down with her, she put her paws on the ropes and rapelled down! I think she enjoyed it. We’re so thankful to these guys. If you need a cat rescued, give these guys a call!

AM/​PM removed three birch trees from my front yard. As I wanted to save some of the stumps for décor, David was kind enough to chop them into 18 inch logs for me. They were timely, accommodating on times to evaluate the trees and remove them, and best of all, they were super affordable!

Dave is awesome! He’s staff is fantastic! Everyone was very understanding!
I realized that my cat was stuck more than 50 feet in a tree behind my apartment after 8pm. Dave and his assistant came out, climb out on a limb with only part of his appropriate gear, no spurs, no long ropes, no lights and rescued my cat who continued to move out further and further. He did all this, he never complained, stayed professional the whole time and even with not getting done until 10:15pm… never charged me more than the quoted price.

David is (literally) a life saver!
Our cat got out and ran straight up the neighbor’s tree. He stayed up there for a day and eventually climbed to the very top — at least 45 feet up.
No amount of coaxing would bring him down.
With no hope left I called AM PM… David was way out near Napa — but he still came to help. In the dark!
He climbed the tree and spent some time at the top simply calming our cat. Then he coaxed the cat into a pillowcase and climbed down. His patience and calmness really helped. My daughters were in tears and I am eternally grateful.
I can’t recommend David and his team enough. Thank you David!!!

Oh my goodness. They were great! We bought a property that hadn’t been lived in in 30 years and needed 8 large trees removed as the trees presented a danger to the house. David and his crew took great care of themselves and my property. These were huge trees. They left our property really clean. Their price was super competitive. They came out right away to bid and scheduling with Courtney was simple. So responsive.

Trust his judgement completely. Has completed jobs at several properties, very old, tall trees. Took the top of a dangerous looking oak tree, and trimmed it back to a safe profile. Looked like a perfectly groomed bonsai. Amazing work at 70 feet off the ground. Highly recommend.

I would give this company 10 stars if I could.
Great to work with, they are easy to get ahold of, fast at scheduling a date/​time, and they won’t charge you an arm and a leg. I had a 30 foot tree in my front yard that was tearing down a retaining wall. I got a quote from Am/​Pm and couldn’t believe how reasonable they were, so I scheduled a date and time. They called me back that week with a cancellation and so I was able to get the tree removed sooner. I left their check under the mat (along with a copy of the permit from the city), left for work and a couple of hours later, I drove by and the tree and stump were gone! It was cleaned up so well that you could not tell a tree had ever been there! They came and went like rock star ninjas.

David and his crew came out to remove our 40-​year old redwood. They made sure that my surrounding trees, roses and other plants were protected from the falling limbs. They even moved a large fountain and backyard accessories to keep them from being damaged. All debris, except the wood chips we wanted, was cleaned up and we had no damage to the landscape lighting or sprinklers.
I had three other companies recommended and AM/​PM was by far the best and fairest price. Brittany (the scheduler) is always pleasant to talk to and prompt in returning calls and scheduling. If we need to have further trees trimmed, David will be the only person I will call. I would recommend David without any reservations.

Dave is simply an amazing man with a great heart. He came all the way to concord at rush hour with all his equipment and rescued a cat that had been stuck in a tree for over 2 days. He volunteered!!! Please use this man and his tree service for any of your tree jobs. He is strong, skilled, courteous, amazing, kind hearted and shows up the very next morning when called late at night for an emergency when a life is at stake. This company rocks!!! Fan for life!!! Ps kitty was OK, happy & reunited with owner who had no idea where he was!!! AM/​PM TREE SERVICE & DAVE!!!

David and his crew did an excellent job! Brittany who does their scheduling was also an extreme pleasure to work with! Their quote came in way under the other guys, and they did phenomenal work!
They took out an apple tree, and a eucalyptus tree, as well as trimmed back another tree that was encroaching upon our roof. They were quick, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, as they were taking down the Apple tree, they encountered a nest halfway down the trunk! There’s absolutely no way they could’ve known it was there, and you could tell they were really shaken up about it. They spent a lot of time collecting the babies, and making them accessible to mama bird. Great work, great guys, and huge hearts! Couldn’t be happier with the job that they did. I highly recommend!

Am/​Pm Tree Service is THE place to go for your tree and landscaping needs! After a call from the City, we reached out to Dave and his crew for help with our out-​of-​control oleander hedges. Just a day or two later, we were admiring our perfectly sized plants, and thanking Dave for a job well done! He trimmed the area, cleaned up the mess, gave us hints for keeping the oleanders in control in the future, and all for a reasonable price. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I had a semi emergency and I needed help asap. They were able to come out, get rid of the branch, take down the rest of the tree and clean everything up within a couple of hours of my phone call (and didn’t charge me an emergency fee). Thanks Dave and team!
