Pretty good kabobs and portion of the food is a good amount. Very casual place to get good kabobs.

I find myself here very often. The kabobs are great, and you can call ahead and order to avoid the 15 minute wait! This location is really convenient with the metro nearby, and they are always easy to work with. Great, reliable, consistent kabobs! Yum.

I got the kubadeh(sp?) with half rice/salad. The meat was nicely seasoned and not too dry. The rice was good and salad ingredients were proportionate and fresh(no wilting). Bread was nice and warm. Service was great. It’s what you expect from a moby dicks. Reason for 4 stars is that it won’t blow you out of the water like other places I’ve been, but it’s solid.

I’ve been going to Moby for 20 years, and this is definitely the best one. Moby’s food is always consistently good, but the staff is exceptionally nice and polite. We have been here twice and have been greeted with free bread on one trip and hummus on the second. Definitely recommend

I haven’t had Moby’s in a long time solely because I’ve been searching the DMV area for different kabob options. I decided to eat here because it just opened in the new strip of restaurants. Compared to the other Moby Dicks, this place is waaay faster and the service here better. Since it was just newly built, the place is sleek and clean. The food is on par with the other locations but this particular one will be my go to because of how fast the food comes out. I ordered the spicy chicken rice plate for about $ 10 which I easily shared with my girlfriend. Great deal!

I looked up the menu online first and figured out what I wanted, but when I arrived, the menu was different. It may have been the same food on the plate, but the names, combinations, process, were all different. This made what was already an intimidating visit to a place where I wasn’t sure I’d like the food worse. Further, I felt a little pressured to order thanks to my hungry groupmates and the staff so I didn’t get acquainted with the place or realize they had fountain drinks. Since I saw canned drinks in front of me, I assume that’s all they had. Pro-tips on the drinks: Get a fountain one. If not, get two cans instead of one bottle. Two canned Cokes = more coke and cheaper than one single bottle. As for the food, apparently it came with pita already, but since we ordered hummus, we got more?! And they refilled it since we were dining in. It was pita overload(but who am I to complain?!), and it was warm and yummy, matched with scrumptious hummus. Not a fan of the pesto-y sauce they have, though. My platter was enormous, even with getting half salad and half rice… and I could only finish about a third at lunch time. Their to go plates are just a lid to go with your plate, which isn’t air tight and doesn’t stay put very well. This all looks eco-friendly, but not practical. Overall, the food is good if you’re in the mood for just meat and rice, and the restaurant is cute and likely big enough for the demand.

All of this construction has been finished since I was last here, so all of the places in this strip are brand new. Located not far from the Dunn-Loring Metro, and close enough to retail parking, this Moby Dick’s is awesome. We were greeted very warmly and friendly by the manager and another it. They answered all of our questions and even gave us free drinks since it was our first time. I had the chicken kebab platter and it was excellent. The chicken was flavorful and tender and the rice was buttery. My fiancé had the kebab sandwich and has expressed his pleasure at how good it was. Get here now!
