Then you can rock in our rockers on the 60 foot porch, sit in the field, coast in our Willow Tree Swing, fall asleep in our hammock, or read a book at our Lotus Lilly Flower Pond.

History

Established in 2007.

This farm house was built by the Decker Family in 1796. Yes it will be 2017 years.

This Farm was one of the original homesteads right after The Revolutionary War. It was one of the original Dairy farms as well before it was established as a dairy farm in the late 1800’s.

Think about living here as a settler in the 1800’s. Indians and highwaymen. Our winters here are not mild and to think how people lived in those days.

We are now living a dream. This wonderful home just 15 minutes away from some of the absolute best rock face climbing in the world, not to forget the scrambling and the thousands of miles of trails that are in our back yard. The majestic view of the Shawangunk Mountain range just south of the Mohonk Mountain Vally is just amazing.

Minniwaska State park is available to visitors for day trips. The beautiful lake that is supported by many streams is open for swimming in the summer. Awosting Falls is a natural formation that drops to a running pond. Come and enjoy the WONDER.

While driving around in 2005 looking for property I stumbled upon this gem of a location. Well to me it was a gem. As they say a gem in the rough. This is a long story and I will keep it short. Driving Bev saw this Homestead. Magnificent. The views were remarkable and so I noticed a for sale sign in the yard.

I inquired and was allowed to view this home. The backyard was nothing but 10 foot of weeds. all else was briers, thorn bushes.

I found a pond on the upper acreage.

I purchased this home and the work started. A rebuilt 60 foot porch, new 200 amp box, Water heater, furnace, water purification, a new well drilled, a new well pump, new oil fired furnace, new oil tanks. After all was replaced I started on the rooms. Rebuilt all the rooms and 2 years later I opened up for business.

It was a lot of work but it has made a difference in this farm community knowing we saved this property, Barn and all the out buildings.
