Stopped by here while at the station to grab some donuts for breakfast. I got the dinosaur, but it was very old tasting and looking. Definitely not baked fresh this morning. I expect something a little more fresh at 6am.

Donut shop in Union Station. Name is «Nothing But Doughnuts». Delicious donuts, only $ 1. Loses one star for having more than just donuts.

These are my favorite doughnuts ever. I’m a fan of yeast doughnuts like at Krispy Kreme rather than the cake doughnuts you get at Dunkin Donuts. However, Krispy Kreme is a bit too sweet for my taste. With that said, Nothing But Doughnuts make the best doughnuts ever. It’s sweet but not too sweet. And it has great consistency and density. It’s chewy and has the right amount of give when you bite into it. I come here for a doughnut whenever I’m in DC. They’re definitely worth the trip!

I picked up a dozen donuts from Nothing But Doughnuts to cheer up the office on Black Friday. Krispy Kreme is amazing, but I wanted something different and this fit the bill. The shelf was half empty, so I was a little worried as I walked up, but it turns out the variety was great and the donuts were well reviewed by all. I had a piece of the giant apple fritter and half of an old-fashioned. Both were soft and delicious. Definitely recommended.
