History

Established in 2011.

Our property manager, Scott Bloom created Columbia Property Management after successfully launching and growing a previous rental management company in conjunction with a leading local real estate brokerage. Columbia Property Management is an independent management firm and does not practice real estate sales. Instead, our focus is on making sure the assets of our rental owner clients are well taken care of and resident concerns are promptly addressed.

Business Owner

Scott transitioned to full-​time property management after nearly ten years managing his own investment rental properties and 20 years developing his marketing and customer service expertise in Fortune 50 companies General Electric and Verizon Communications. His commitment to accountability, transparency, fair play, and technology form the basis for the operating culture of the company.

Scott’s formal education includes a B. S in Marketing from Indiana University and a M. S in International Affairs and Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University. He speaks French and German.
