I believe this is a family owned restaurant that serves home style food. Their chicken nuggets are delicious and it’s what I seem to order whenever I’m there. Milk tea can be a bit sweeter than normal. Service was good. Definitely would be back!

Good food and decent service, according to Asian restaurant standards. I ordered a spicy diced chicken and rice. It was deliciously cooked. A bit on the oily side but it’s what was expected in Taiwanese cuisine! Nice warm atmosphere with interesting decors of Taiwanese history. Would be back for other food!

Memory Corner Date Visited: 04.16.2016 Will Return: No Price: $$ Was in the area and was craving some taiwanese food and we ended up here. Honey Green Tea with Pearls(3⁄5) Recommend: Maybe There version of the honey green tea is over sweet, Too sweet for my taste, Also I has no idea that they used mini pearls I did not like them because they sticked together and was had to eat. Deep Fried Oyster Mushroom(3⁄5) Recommend: Maybe The mushrooms were just a bit undercooked and had a lot of oil on it, The seasoning was just alright. Satay Lamb with Vegetable(2⁄5) Recommend: No This dish had no satay flavour at all it was very bland and the lamb did not have and lamb flavour to it, It felt like I just ate some sort of meat, rice was average… Herbal Lamb Hotpot(2⁄5) Recommend: No This hotpot had no flavour it just tasted like ginger, and the lamb had no flavour to it, Shredded Pork with Egg Fried Rice(2⁄5) Recommend: No Too much garlic! The whole dish just tasted like garlic I really did not enjoy this one… Too much other places to try will not come back! Food:(2⁄5) Service:(3⁄5) Atmosphere:(2⁄5) Overall:(2⁄5)

Super delicious, some dishes can be too greasy for some — just ask them to use less oil when cooking. Can get a huge line up often, so do call to break a seat if you have 4+(or 5). I come here all the time with friends to have s good time with good food we crave.

Has a cool history/back story, and food was decent but I was not blown away. The food was hit or miss depending on the dish, and the bubble tea has very small pearls that were not to my taste. However, I have heard their potted drinks are quite good, and to be fair I did not get a chance to try that item. I would not be opposed to go back to try that drink.

I was very touched by the backstory to this restaurant’s family heritage. You can read about their history on their website if you google them. My review is based solely on their teas, since I have not tried their food yet. I come here often for their teas, and my favorite selections are their salted milk cap teas and Oolong teas. I also enjoy their potted plant teas, what a fun novelty and delicious too! I like their teas better than Chatime(which I also frequent).

This is a busy Taiwanese restaurant. I was my first time to try it. I didn’t expect too much and I thought that it would be like a normal Taiwanese restaurant and just hoped that it would not be bad. Dinner was… 1) A glass of chocolate milk tea — good — not too sweet and the most interesting thing was that there was salty cream with chocolate powder on top. 2) The satay lamb with fried rice was quite good. Not too salty. The flavour was about right. 3) My original order was a dish of Taiwanese marinated ribs with rice but when the dish arrived, it was with noodles instead. I did not bother asking the waitress to take the noodles back, because I did not want to wait for them to give me the right dish. I just ate it anyways. The noodles were good(not too soft or too hard). The marinated ribs were okay. What surprised me was that the soup was actually good. The soup was not too salty or greasy. There should be less MSG. I didn’t feel thirsty after the meal. I wouldn’t mind to visit this Taiwanese restaurant again and try other dishes of food.

This is the second time I’ve gone with my wife. We are of South american background. We like spicy food. The kung pao chicken here it is excellent. If you enjoy eating spicy food this is the place to be. The service is overall good. I could use more napkins though :-)

Food is okay, pretty typical Taiwanese café. But the potted milk tea is very tasty, not too sweet, and they use the small tapioca pearls.

I came here for lunch with a GF of mine. I was in it for the matcha inspired cake and shake. Service was friendly and served in a timely manner. Enough seating, however, this place does get busy around the 3 pm mark. Very reasonably priced.

DH& I came here on a Saturday afternoon. The July issue of Klip magazine has 10% off drinks. I ordered a chocolate milk tea which was served with large ice cubes. I have never seen ice cubes in milk tea before. Was this to make it cold? ’cause the cubes melted but the drink never got cold. I also ordered the deep-fried crispy chicken nuggets for $ 6.25 This was really good. Came with lots of green onion + 2 half cloves of garlic… yum yum. DH ordered a chicken steak. It arrived on a plate smothered with bean sprouts + black pepper. He was disappointed that the chicken had been deep-fried as this wasn’t mentioned in the menu. When you are seated, they will ask if you want tea or ice water. The water is poured from plastic pitchers & the tea is dispensed from thermoses. The tea is not hot, it is very concentrated + tastes stale. The place is quite small. Even so, it was difficult to flag down someone to get our bill. I couldn’t finish the chicken so we asked for a doggy bag + that’s what we got. They put the leftovers into a paper bag + then into a plastic bag. The minimum charge is $ 3.75 per person & they only accept cash or debit. They play Taiwanese pop songs at quite a loud volume.

I compliment the service here — a friend and I chatted over potted plant bubble teas for a couple of hours and no malicious glares were thrown around, contrary to what I expect from an Asian restaurant. Smiles all around and cheerful thankyous. The workers get together at the end of service for a meal — it was nice to see them enjoying their own food and still laughing after a days work. Previously I’ve had their family specialty lamb hot pot and it was very dece. I love family based restaurants! That feel good historic feel, especially with the interesting cosplay décor. Oolong milk tea was dericious — not overly sweet with a fresh tea(and not just heavily milk based) flavor. The«dirt» bits were ferreros I’m pretty sure… They were good and hazelnutty and stayed crunchy even when stirred into the tea. Parking is a bit sketchy. Popo across the street at the«massage» parlor for a view also verging on the ghetto at night. Possibly my favorite restaurant in Richmond!

有香 Memory Corner Bubble Tea Restaurant recently opened in Central Richmond across from Richmond Centre. We saw the pretty potted soil bubble tea over instagram and decided we really need to try this. It is lunch time and this Taiwanese bubble tea restaurant is already getting busy. One can only imagine what it will be like at night. Memory Corner has a lot of milk tea, green tea, fresh juices and drink options. They serve hot pot, soup noodles, thick toasts, deep fried crispy chicken and other snacks worth conversing over. Potted Ferrero Rocher Milk Tea 4.75: A semi-sweet milk tea with ground Ferrero Rocher. Decorated with mint leaves for a photogenic soil milk tea. Too Cute. A must try. Milky Fish Soup with angel hair noodles 9.25: A generous portion of bone in fish belly. I like fish soup the clean. But I found the broth too light and needs more depth. Garnished with some diced green onions. My friend said it was rather fishy, but it was ok for me. Prawn and Salmon Roe Fried Rice 9.25: A simple fried rice that is pretty tasty. The salmon roe makes a good texture with the eggs pop. Chinese Beef Rolls 6.50: Not my favorite and can use some extra flavoring. Deep Fried Brown Shimeji Mushrooms 5.50: My favorite dish. The abalone mushrooms were not too greasy and was lightly salted. Soy Marinated Tofu 5.50: regular and nothing special for 5.50. Deep Fried Cripsy Chicken 5.50: Nice flavoring in the Taiwanese deep fried chicken nuggets. Best valued dish. Not too greasy either. I think I will definitely come back for some bubble tea. Service and food is prompt. There are plenty street parking.

Memory corner is located on No 3 road which across from City Hall. The parking is limited and only has few parking spots behind it, just better pay for parking on the side street would be easier. For some reason, I like to have Taiwanese food for lunch. This restaurant states authentic Taiwanese food and no MSG! Yes, it is! I went there with my co-workers on Friday, they were quite busy during lunch time. All of us were so busy and excited to checking out the menu, I found the menu noted the fruit honey toast have to pre-order a day in advance. Seriously? We had order some dishes to share, overall, the foods were great and the portion were generous too! Shrimps and tobiko fried rice — Simple dish but taste good. Marinated tofu — They used med-firm tofu to marinate and not salty at all. Deep fried abalone mushroom — It’s so descilious, the mushroom inside just juicy. Chicken nuggets — Big pieces of popcorn chicken, it so crispy. Beef wrapped — the onion cake was a bit dry and beef shank was tasteless. Milky fish with Chinese angel hair noodles — I only had a bit of Chinese angel hair noodles coz milky fish was too fishy to me. Potted Ferrero Rocher milk tea — It’s signature drink! Really cute and tasty! Must try drink at Memory Corner. Overall, the service was friendly, helpful and quick.

This Taiwanese restaurant is a bit different from other similar places in that they have some different menu items such as a big selection of lamb dishes(their specialty). They carry the requisite chicken nuggets(PK but nothing to write home about) but not the range of traditional beef noodle soups. They don’t include the side dishes in their set meals like most others. Overall, I’d give the food quality a good rating. Their drinks are pretty descent. They also have a selection of carbonated milk teas which I think you’d either like it or not. Personably I thought it gave an interesting twist to the drink. The staff is pleasant and friendly. The place has a small café feel. Nothing overly fancy but good vibe. A good place to check out.

Ok I know I’ve been super lazy and I have not took the time to keep up to date with my well read reviews! Haha! I’m sure I’ve missed out on writing on like 30 reviews cuz of my lazy attitude! Oh well I endeavor to do better! Ok here we go… Memory Corner is a new bbt joint in Richmond. It offers an assortment of Taiwanese dishes in a speedy inexpensive central Richmond location. My friend AC(Fat Ass! Haha) her young and cute daughter A and I met for lunch there today… a lazy Wednesday afternoon. We arrived around 1130 and we were able to secure a table, but the restaurant filled up quickly. By 1145 all 12 tables were filled up! Service was painfully slow! We waited for 10 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged us! The food came out piping hot and fresh but it was another 20 minutes of sitting before we got our food order. All I can say is Slow Slow Slow! If they want to get that fourth star from me they need to hire another waitress(there was only 1 waitress for the 12 tables) and some kitchen help in the back! Overall the food it pretty good! I would come again, but I would bring a book to kill the time! Haha

Okay I was reading the other reviews and it seems like it’s a hit or miss(mostly miss ?) when eating at this restaurant. It’s a very popular and new taiwanese restaurant in Richmond, located right across from city hall. This location has had 5+ restaurants over the past few years and this is the first time I’ve seen a successful business set up shop there! It’s really really really busy. There often isn’t enough parking and there are often long(er) waits for food. In general, I didn’t have to wait too long for the last two times I went but I did have to wait quite a while for my special potted dessert milk tea drink to be prepared. The taiwanese crispy fried chicken was delicious while the hotpots were fairly decent. The potted dessert plant was unique but wasn’t too amazing in taste. I would definitely come back since everything is fairly affordable and delicious.

This is no «Facing East» if you’re from Seattle/Bellevue area. Our expectations were pretty high for Taiwanese food. Ginseng Chicken Hotpot — We came to try this out. It was alright… had plenty of meat. Nothing to write home about. Crispy Chicken — Good portions size. Was fried crispy and not mushy. Meat Sauce on Rice — Kinda blah… it was missing flavor. They only take cash or debit card.
