I had a sales rep (Diana) come over to go over fabrics and I told her what I wanted and she yea yea. The price is close to $ 2,000 but I could save money if I took the head rails down myself and waited longer than the 3 days. I saved $ 300. She then sent the installer to measure the windows, a bow window, and I told him what I wanted. After watching him measure I felt very uncomfortable with the time he spent on doing it. I called Diana to tell her I was not comfortable or happy with the installer’s measurements and knew something was wrong. She never returned my call. The blinds were delivered to my house instead of the installer. When the installer did come, and he stepped away, I looked and say no way. Everything I asked for and questioned was not done. Material was not backed, there were inches separating the 2 side blinds to the center, the slats were uneven, they overlapped from ¼″ to 2″. I called C/S several times complaining and I was told the installer was coming back to get a full report. I made a list of my complaints for all the things I told them I wanted and did not get. I have called every day and every day was told the installer was calling to set up a day to come. Well it is now a week, no call and all I am getting are promises which I believe is them stalling me. Lousy company, lousy service. Not a professional job!

Poor service! Called a consultant for a quote and she came after 2 weeks. And then had the nerve to sit on a personal call at our house during the appointment. Not to mention, she Came without the book claiming she «forgot» it at the office. Like how do you do that? Pathetic!

The experience from start to finish was as easy as could be. Being a new homeowner I had been making decision after decision so it was nice to have some help. The design consultant Edy picked out beautiful blinds for my daughter’s room when I was torn between a few. And what a lovely chat we had while working… such a pleasure! 3 Day Blinds should really be called 45 day blinds.
Honestly, I regret ever working with 3 Day Blinds – I should have just gone with The Shade Store instead. My issues with 3 Day Blinds include the following areas: 1) failure to meet delivery and install dates listed on our sales agreement 2) error in quantity requested which meant I had to wait another week for the remaining items – keep in mind the sales consultant came out to our house was the first person to take measurements but the installer comes out to verify. The consultant claims she couldn’t read the quantity on the installer notes which makes no sense since she was already there and counted the # of windows as well. 3) damaged accessories due to shipping (not their fault but ups)-so had to wait another 12 days for a replacement. 4) the quality is fine – nothing special and we are still waiting for our Roman shades to stretch out or that is what the installer told us because the measurements are off a little bit.
3 Day Blinds appears to rely heavily on consultants and our installer lived an hour away from us.
