BEWARE this diner when the woman is there!!! When the Greek guy is there the food is SOGOOD. However when I’ve gone there when the skinny woman is there, I’ve gotten disgustingly watered-down split pea soup, hair in my cornbeef hash & in my fiancé’s omelette, mousaka with a chemically taste, canned potatos in my homefries, toast so dry & lacking in butter my fiancé and I were only able to choke it down with milk. What a waste of $ 40, This is the 3rd&LASTTIME I will go there when the woman is there.

Just an authentic Brooklyn experience. Just off the elevated subway stop a welcoming spot to grab some grub and then get the day going. It’s a little tight inside, but seems like a family place. The husband and wife team are welcoming. The wait staff and the cooks are all friendly and seem happy to be there. $ 4.95 for 2 eggs with toast. Was good and popped out in about 2 minutes.

Just decided to stop here one day and it turned out to be one of my favorite diners. The food is good and the service is fast and friendly. Tends to be pretty busy and it might be a bit of a wait to get a table but doable.

Just stopped by here tonight with my husband. We’ve lived in the neighborhood for four years now and have never dined at this restaurant. My husband and I shared a Philly cheese steak as we were just stopping by for a quick snack. The cheesesteak and fries were well cooked. I was very surprised at how well Kept the restaurant was. Definitely had a vintage feel to it. That was cool. Moving on, I am very big on cleaning dishes and I was happy to see that their dishes or spotless. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only thing I would say is next time I would ask that the server a follow up on whether or not I would like mushrooms on my Philly cheesesteak. I totally forgot to ask him to leave off the mushrooms. We are going back soon to try out there breakfast menus. Will follow up. Just ate breakfast here. It was fabulous. I ordered the create your own omelette. I ordered and onion green pepper and turkey bacon omelette very tasty. Husband had French toast. Didn’t look like anything special but he enjoyed it.

Great service, nice dinner, good food and if you place an order to be delivered they do it pretty fast. So if you crave for a good bacon eggs and potatoes on a sunny Sunday you should definitely go there.

Delicious food! Prices are fair for a diner. The breakfast is delicious, I always get pancakes with sausages.

The only place open at 6 a.m. serving non-breakfast meals, so of course I had to stop by at 6am for just that. I ordered a chicken gyro with curly fries, and was given lots of refills on coffee(yay.) My friend ordered mashed potatoes, and spaghetti with chicken parmesan. Her food tasted amazing, and so did my fries. This place is really nice, but didn’t really like how the chicken in the gyro I ordered tasted, it was really chewy. Nonetheless, if I ever need a diner that early & am in the area, I’ll be back. Probably will order something else though.

I’ve ordered from New Dyker Diner a few times and they never disappoint. Today I ordered the Spinach Pie which comes with a Greek Salad: I ended up with a Gynormous piece of Spinach Pie and a nice sized Greek Salad. Both were delicious and I would definitely recommend this for a filling lunch. On a lazy Saturday I’ve walked in here for breakfast, am always satisfied, the food is fresh, the servings are hefty, and I always leave with a doggy bag.

Came here around 830am on Saturday for breakfast before going to Kohl’s. The place isn’t very big. There are maybe 5 booths and the rest of the seats are at the counter area. The menu isn’t very big either. But something about the place seems very homey. I watched the people work and I just felt very comfortable there. They all seem like such nice people that you can’t help but to want to come back or be super nice to them and leave a big tip. I don’t usually get that feeling from places I eat at but something about this diner. Anyways, I ordered the pancakes with sausage breakfast special and my bf had the corned beef hash with 2 eggs breakfast special. Both come with a juice/tea/coffee. I opted for the coffee. Everything was very good. The portions were pretty big and the price was very fair. The corned beef hash was good, wasn’t too salty like some others I’ve had. The sausage was the big sausage but wasn’t the best I’ve had. Coffee was good & strong. Overall, I had a good experience. I would come back!

I have never been there in person, but I have ordered there for delivery. Let’s just say the food comes undercooked and all smashed up when you receive it. This happened to me two times already. I won’t order from them again.

It is truly a disappointment eating here. I’m always up for supporting the old Bensonhurst establishments but the food here isn’t very good. It’s so expensive for what you get. You can easily make everything at home. I don’t like going into restaurants and receiving food I can cook myself. It’s not even elaborate food. So if I can make fries and a burger better at home, I’m not going to pay $ 10 for it here. I expected so much more considering there are very little diners around in the neighborhood. Nothing really stand out about this place which is a shame because I do miss the old Bensonhurst.

Disappointing. Unfortunately we did not have an excellent experience at this diner. The place was pretty rough around the edges and the food matched. Service was fine and the people were nice.

I haven’t been to this diner, so I can only speak on their delivery service. They are quick(so quick that I wonder how the hell they did it, they must have superpowers) and they’ve always gotten my order right. The food is always cooked perfectly; I’m usually one to have leftovers, but my plate is always clean when I order from New Dyker. I highly recommend the Philly Cheesesteak… no joke, it’s the best I’ve ever had.

I came here for breakfast multiple times and the food was just ok, nothing special. Obviously you can’t expect much from places like this and for the price you are paying, although today I was dissapointed. At first they gave us napkins which one of them was dirty. I ordered corned beef-hash and my girlfriend got mushroom omelette. The cornee beef-hash was way too salty and French fries almost raw? My girlfriend’s mushroom omelette was completly burned from outside and uncooked from the inside, how can you mess that up, seriously. She barerly touched anything. We’re definitely not going there anymore.

I’ve always wanted to try this place out because it’s so close by the train station when get out of school. It usually was crowded so I never went in. My friend told me that their Philly cheese steak was really good so I decided to give it a try. Right off the bat, I noticed that the waiter was really friendly and accommodating. The waiting time was decent, 5 – 10 minutes at most for the food to be ready. The Philly cheese steak came with a ton of jumbo sized fries. The sandwich was served on a soft roll and flavorful and just awesome. The fries were the perfect texture, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The best thing about this place was the price. The whole meal was only $ 6.75 and I was stuffed even though I shared half my sandwich with a friend. I’m definitely stopping by here again.

Can I admit I had absolutely NOCLUE this diner existed until a few years ago? I used to walk past it every day my entire life. Was this around when I was a kid? Food is always solid. The staff is always extremely friendly. Can’t stress that enough. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, it has a very home-like feeling. The only reason I don’t visit more frequently is that the prices are still diner prices, and I can’t afford to pay $ 11 for an omelet or $ 9 for a breakfast sandwich. My brother and I choose this spot the few mornings we decide treat one another. You see remnants of Bensonhurst stopping by often — this is a counter that many, many, many patrons remain loyal to for life. So easy to miss, but a neighborhood staple.

Its difficult to drag our lazy feet more than a block or two for brunch on a weekend. However, after having read so many rave reviews by our fellow Unilocalers, we decided to give this place a try today. This is a few blocks walk from our apartment. The restaurant is small but clean. It was jam packed with patrons on today. My husband and I sat at our favorite place i.e. the counter stools. I ordered the omelette with feta and spinach and my husband ordered a western omelette for himself. We liked what we ate. The owners are friendly and the father son duo keeps the restaurant cheerful. The only thing is that it is a little pricey for the neighborhood. We shall be going back again and try the much acclaimed french toast this time.

Small spot, used to be twice the size years ago. They are good for breakfast and brunch but they do stay open to 7−8pm sometimes. They have a limited menu and their«specials» that have been posted on their window for years. Clean spot with good service, good for a quick eat but not good for a big group. They do deliver!
