I have both a gripe and a compliment… The gripe is that the precooked pizzas were obviously cooked… well, way back when. Obviously earlier in the day. Or at least more than an hour before I ordered them. They sat in the warmer too long and were dried out and the crust was not the soft, pillowy, yet crunchy crust I’ve had from Little Caesars(there’s no apostrophe in the company trademark name) in the past. In fact the edges of the crust were dark brown in color and the cheese was dried up. I think they should have a limit on how long the pizzas sit in the warmers and if they’re not purchased after a certain amount of time, pitch them out and make fresh ones. If that’s too costly, then maybe they should do what other pizza places do and that’s make to order. Yeah, it’s nice having a ‘fast food’ pizza place where you can walk in and say«gimme a pep to go» and you’re out the door in less than 2 minutes. But what’s more important? Time or quality of product? Because Little Caesars really isn’t that bad if you get them made fresh. Now the compliment… my thin crust veggie, which was special-ordered, is REALLY good. A nice thin, cracker-like crust(I specified thin crust for mine) with plenty of toppings and I only had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes for the finished product. So I think next time I visit Little Caesars, I will order all of my pizzas fresh made. I don’t want the ones that have been sitting in the warmer anymore. Maybe I just hit them on a slow day and the pizzas weren’t flying out of there as fast as they normally would. But, again, time them. If they’ve sat in the warmers too long without being claimed, eat them or pitch them out. I’d much rather wait 10 minutes or less for hot, fresh pizza than end up with one with burnt crust and disintegrated cheese.

Let me be clear on this: Little Caesar’s pizza is not great pizza. BUT. Sometimes you don’t have the time or money for great pizza. At Little Caesar’s you can walk in with 5 bucks and walk out literally 20 seconds later with a large pepperoni pizza. Where else can you do that?
