Let me just say, I was very impressed with the quality of the work performed and the length of time it took to complete my bathroom. Three days to do complete job. I had my second guest bath remodeled with a walk in shower and they also did floors. They showed up on time and did they job they said exactly right and most importantly, in the time frame they promised. No complaints at all. So happy I went with Rebath! The owner is an amazing guy too.

After getting various quotes, we settled on ReBath to work on our kids/​guest bathroom. Price/​estimate was within the high range of what we got but the selling points were the ability to work around our very tight schedule and provide financing via Home Depot.
Mansoor was our consultant and it showed us various samples to pick from. The samples are quite small so it’s a bit hard to put everything together (CAD would be nice to have) and we were a bit nervous. We were also not sure about the look of Rebate DuraBath Solid Surface Polymer as we prefer the «natural feel of stone». Mansoor suggested to add an accent with real tiles and also as a splash guard and it was a great idea.
(Not sure about the person complaining about the estimate. We had a piece of paper like that but it was after Mansoor show us the detail cost on his computer. Having a visual memory, I had put all the pieces together already).
But it being a kids bathroom, we also wanted to have the minimum concern about maintenance hence the choice of DuraBath. Mansoor kept us up to date on every aspect of the process and a team came to measure everything, verify plumbing alignment, etc…
On the promised day, a team led by Trevor arrived and the bathroom was teared down to the beams. While it is scary and our timing was critical (parents coming to town), things seem like they were going slow. However, it was the work on the electrical and plumbing (to get it to the code) that took time but was also already planned in their timing. We got compliment by inspector on electrical (and feel much safer). I have to say that solving the puzzle of how the plumbing was done before was quite interesting and watching Trevor tracing the lines below and decoupling our two bathrooms water supply was quite a show (everything was shared and the path not the most direct one). In the end, we have finally 2 independent bathrooms without fighting on when to take a shower and pulling all the hot water, an added benefit of the redesign!)
Then, when the work of putting up the walls and fixtures (after the first phase of the permit was approved) (they take care of the permit, etc), it just goes very very fast. We saw the place transform under our eyes in a couple of hours…
And they kept their promise and deliver the bathroom right on time. Even after we used it, we noticed a couple of things (mostly usability around our choices), they were very fast to fix it and come to our place even if we were out of the way.
Trevor and team put in long hours to finish on time and Lyle (spelling?) provided the finishing touch/​inspection.
The final inspection for the permit got ReBath and us surprised when the shower head was not up to code. California requires 2.0GPM and ours was 2.5GPM. After discussing around with other contractors and hardware stores, no one seem to have been aware of that. So to no fault to ReBath (even local contractors were surprised), we learn of this little obscure requirements for Redwood City in place since July 2014. But again Lyle was on it and ready to come back with new shower heads. You could feel genuine concern by the team when really even contractors living and working in RWC were not aware of that. We got our own shower heads so we could close the permit review and we passed it very easily.
As for the DuraBath Solid Surface Polymer? When everything is put down, it looks great (not like cheap plastic material). Granted, when you touch it or knock on the shelves, you will know it’s not tiles but they can still install these if you want. It all depends on your budget. And for a kids bathroom, simple to maintain is the key word.
So knowing everything is under one roof, the customer service, the install team, the follow-​up, it was worth the compromise and cost in the end. We are really enjoying having jumped from a 1970/​80s bathroom (gold trim everyone?) to a modern, zen like bathroom.
Now, onto the other bathroom!

I ended up going with rebath after getting 5 other estimates. They were the mid line price out of all of them. They were also the first estimate I got. I had called home depot and was put in touch with them as the home depots certified contractors. The price was more than I had hoped but, less than half of one other estimates. I guess the ridiculous property values in the bay area are reason to charge so much.
The installers were professionals and got the job done. There were a few delays but, nothing extreme. Craig Ferguson was the main contractor. He was very nice and kept the job clean. The result was good and now we have a bath tub! Thanks for the good work!

We are very pleased with our new bathroom. The whole team from Temo, who helped us design and choose the materials, to the guys who did the work; the whole process couldn’t have been better.
Our bathroom was completely finished from ceiling to floor in just a couple of weeks using beautiful, high quality materials.

I was referred to Rebath through The Home Depot. They called right away and set up a consult. I asked how it worked and they said a designer comes with samples of everything, measures, gets an idea of what you want and leaves you with a quote. Sounded great.
All the above was true and the designer that came to my house was very sweet. Here’s the catch: the quote I was given was a number written down on a piece of paper. It’s not itemized and nothing is transparent. The price (to me – a non-​contractor) seemed ridiculous, but if that’s their price, then fine. My opinion is this: whatever the price is, please justify it with line items. How much (and a range is fine) for my materials? How much for the labor? How much for the permits? How much for them to come out? How much if I just want to do the shower? Or just the floor? Clearly you must know because you arrived at a number. I asked and was assured they use a formula. Ok great, but picky me needs more. At a minimum, convince me, you are worth that extremely high-​end quote.
I applaud them for being a thriving business while using this as a model. Obviously there are lots of people out there that this non-​detailed quote system works for and I’m the minority. I wish them continued success.

Ken and his helper are a great hard working TEAM and did a thorough, professional and excellent job. Strongly recommend them.

We just finished remodeling our bathroom. Yes it is a very costly procedure but we found their prices comparable and their response rapid. We removed a bathtub and put in a full wall to wall shower after choosing all the desired patterns and materials. They also redid our electrical wiring, installed new vanity lights, new exhaust fan, tile floors, new vanity and countertops, etc. We are very happy with all the products we chose as well as the quality. The best part of our experience were the installers, Moises & Jaime. They did a fantastic job! Very professional and accommodating. They made the process painless and worry-​free. I would highly recommend them to a friend. Thank you for making our remodel a pleasant experience.

I highly recommend ReBath. I just completed a full bathroom renovation. And start to finish it was an easy process. Everyone that I interacted with was knowledgeable and friendly. I liked that the quote I was given at the beginning was the price, not an estimate. And when I made changes along the way, I was given detailed pricing for additional work. I also liked that everyone I dealt with from ReBath was an employee, not a subcontractor. And along the way there was good communication about timing and the schedule. I received proactive phone calls telling me the status of my project. And I didn’t have to deal with securing the permits since ReBath did that as well. I am very happy with my bathroom remodel and will consider ReBath in the future for another bathroom.

So far I am pretty disappointed in this company. I booked a consultation with Re bath because they had such great reviews online but so far I have been very disappointed. The first thing my representative did was tell me that I was only his third customer and that he really didn’t know what he was doing (which showed a lack in confidence), then he complained about having to bring his computer out to give me an accurate quote because it was 6pm at night and he said it took his computer a long time to load, therefore he instead gives me a hand written quote which is higher than any other quote out of (6) that we had received.
The next day I get a phone call from the representative stating that he completely over priced my quote and wanted to give me all the new numbers. I called the representative back and left a message asking him to email me the numbers. So what does he do… calls me back and leaves a message complaining about how difficult it will be for him to email me the quote. Really I get and review sometimes 400+ emails a week for my job and you are going to complain how hard it is to email me a quote… are you kidding me?
So far I have not felt secured or respected with my experience. Being a customer, this representative has made me feel like I was more of a hassle. Which to me is so disrespectful especially since I was looking to spending 10k plus with this company.
I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone at this time.

Working with Osa at Re*Bath in Concord for the design was amazingly easy. We started with the floor we had picked out, then Osa gave us options that she thought matched the floor well. There was always something in her first set of options that I thought would look beautiful. The gentlemen who installed the bathroom did a great job. We get lots of compliments about the Schicker shower doors, and everyone is shocked to learn that the bath surround is not stone or tile, but the excellent polyvinyl product made by Re*Bath. And the last thing that always helps — the prices were reasonable. We would definitely use Re*Bath again and recommend them to you.

We needed our shower fixed as soon as possible and made user friendly for a disability. Got exactly what we wanted, in very good time. Appointment made the same day to start the process, materials chosen, demo completed right away. As soon as materials came in, shower was completed in one day. Workmen were a pleasure to have in our home. Work was excellent and husband loves the new, easy shower. Thanks to Re Bath. Would recommend you, and if necessary, would use again.

We used Re-​bath for our bathroom remodeling, which involves installation of new durabath enclosure, new sliding glass door and some new bathroom hardware. The Re-​bath team did an excellent job of site survey, project scheduling and the actual work. We are very happy with the entire project and would recommend them for any bathroom improvement projects.

I want to say many kudos and thanks to Benito and Miguel. Benito had the lead on remodeling my bathroom, taking out the bathtub and cultured marble walls and replacing with a shower pan, new walls and a new shower door, higher so that I didn’t have to duck as much to step into the shower. I had the original tub installed in 2003 and haven’t sat in the tub more than sic times during all this time.
Due to recent health concerns (knee replacement), stepping over the tub to gain access to the shower created a safety problem; slipping, which I didn’t want.
So I looked around on the internet for bathroom remodeling and then saw a commercial on KRON TV about Re Bath. I decided to go to their showroom and look. They had exactly what I wanted and a rep. came out and looked at the bathroom and gave me a talk about who Re Bath is and what they do. I was sold. I was going to have them do the job anyway, but still wanted more info.
They only specialize in bathroom remodeling and all the facets. So they are not a company that does other types of home improvement work. I knew if they specialize only in bathrooms and this is what I wanted.
Benito and Miguel began work about 930 and left about 6pm, Wednesday. The next day, Thursday at 6pm, they were completely finished. As work progressed, Benito explained things to me and addressed my concerns if I had any. He asked my wishes for the placement of the shower arm, position of the hand held shower rod, placement of the two corner shelves and placement of the wall mounted grab bar. They also did a couple small repairs that were not part of the replacement package, as my request. The bathroom was cleaned up and Benito explained everything to me about contract sign off, care and cleaning of the shower area and any questions I had that may have risen.
The replacement looks fantastic! I highly recommend Re Bath by Schicker that wants their bathroom remodeled.

I had one bathroom completely remodeled and flooring replaced in two other rooms. I am very pleased with the results and can’t say enough good things about Benito and Jaime who did the job. They were very professional and at the same time I could see that they really enjoyed their work. I was most pleased by the fact that they remained very concerned that the work would be esthetically pleasing to me and made suggestions along the way to make that happen. I would recommend Rebath to anyone — great company.

Note: This review is based on a partially-​complete master bathroom remodel. The bulk of the job is finished, but we are still waiting for our shower glass to be installed, as the Schicker Shower Door portion of our job is separate from the ReBath.
We’ve had harrowing experiences with sketchy contractors in the past, so we chose ReBath by Schicker to remodel our master bathroom as they are a well-​established, reputable, company that some of our neighbors recommended. ReBath by Schicker has a showroom in Concord near Costco where most of their (somewhat limited) range of bathroom fixture offerings are on display and where generally you’ll find a pleasant person like Laura on hand to answer questions. We knew this outfit wouldn’t go missing for weeks or skip town with our deposit, and that was important to us.
Before going any further I have to mention the shining stars of our ReBath by Schicker experience, the congenial team of Benito & Jaime who did demolition, plumbing, replacement of fixtures, and some carpentry and tile work. In their week with us at our home these gentleman were models of what service professionals should be… punctual, unfailingly pleasant, and excellent communicators, always keeping us in the loop as to job progress and when decisions had to be made. In speaking with them we found out what a wealth of experience they brought to the job… no wonder they were good! Most importantly, the quality of their work was beyond criticism. Benito & Jaime represented ReBath by Schicker very well, as did electricians Eric & Ron and painter Jesus, all true professionals.
Although we can recommend ReBath by Schicker, we did have a few concerns that keep us from giving a full five-​star rating. Our remodeling plan had to change many times prior to work beginning, and our contract redrawn, partly due to the sales and design team’s less-​than-​full knowledge of building code restrictions in our city and practical issues in combining some of the bathroom features we initially requested. Fortunately, Greg, a Supervisor or Manager who really knew his stuff, was eventually brought in to make a final determination as to what was and wasn’t technically or legally feasible. It would have been better for us if Greg was involved earlier in the process or if our earlier contacts with the company had a deeper knowledge of potential issues.
The design team, although very pleasant, could also have done a more thorough job of presenting and explaining our fixture and finish options to us. ReBath by Schicker’s practice of quoting a total price without itemizing the cost of various options within a package makes it less easy for a potential customer on a budget to make informed decisions about which options they might want to add or omit.
A final comment is in regard to the job scheduling process. We told ReBath by Schicker from day one, our first meeting with the designer, that we needed the work done during my week of vacation. My home office is adjacent to the bathroom being remodeled, so I would not be able to work while the remodel was going on. We brought this up many weeks in advance and reminded them at every turn. During the sales process we were assured «no problem, those dates should be wide open,» but as our requested work date drew closer the office/​scheduling staff seemed noncommittal and unsympathetic to that scheduling request which was a high priority of ours. Ultimately, the work –was– done during our requested week, but we had some anxiety before that happy conclusion of being left with a much-​improved bathroom.
All-​in-​all, though, a positive experience and satisfactory result from working with this outfit. We would use them again.

Moises and Todd did a great job on remodeling my two bathrooms. They were professional and clean. They treated my house as their own. I was surprised at how quick they finished the project. From my experience, most contractors take much longer than estimated. This wasn’t the case with ReBath. I will recommend ReBath to friends looking for these types of serves. Thanks, –Dan

I had my master tub/​shower converted to a shower plus replacing the flooring. I can’t say enough on the professionalism, punctuality and easiness to deal with this company. The product is awesome and is just beautiful. My project was completely finished in 3 days. Highly recommended– you won’t be sorry!
