I have to say I wish I never booked my wedding DJ with this company. My fiancé and I attended a wedding and thought they were great. The minute we got engaged I knew I wanted DLE for our dj. Sadly, as soon as I hit submit on the down payment my hope and excitement went out the window.
Our reception hall asked that all vendors be set up prior to the start of cocktail hour so that they wouldn’t be arriving along with our guests. I completed the contract with the corrected time and followed up with Daniel to make sure we were ok. A few days later I still didn’t receive a response, so I followed up with a second email. Still, nothing. What I did receive was an email stating that my invoice was 14 days past due. I was finally able to track down Daniel and get him to contact me after calling his office. He explained that it was a computer glitch, and that we were fine. I accepted that and moved on. 2 weeks later I received an email from his entertainment coordinator asking if we were still interested in using them for entertainment. almost a month after I gave them an $ 1,100.00 deposit. By this time, I lost complete faith in this company and decided I couldn’t depend on them. I sent Daniel a termination email explaining my concerns and reasons why I couldn’t use them anymore. I was told that my emails were sent during a very busy time for them, and they must’ve gotten lost in the mix. This isn’t what a bride wants to, or should hear. No matter what industry you’re in, the customer should be made to feel like they the only client being focused on.
Now, Daniel is claiming that I was unresponsive on the phone when he called to discuss the termination of our contract. In reality, I missed his call while I was at work, sent him an email asking to call my fiancé with any questions, and he never did. He finally sent an email last night stating that we would not receive a refund of our deposit.
Would never ever recommend this dj company for anything!

It was never our intention to be the most difficult clients. It was our intention to hire an amazing dj who would make our wedding the best, which we saw you could do at a friends wedding. We have no doubt that your skills would have made it great BUT we did have doubts of whether you would even show up. Your business professionalism is nearly non-​existent. In the email shown above, which you still have not acknowledged, we didn’t even have a signed contract! Now, that email was sent on ¹¹⁄₂₅ and we responded to you to cancel our contract on ¹²⁄₄. That’s NINE DAYS that you had to correct the issue, and to say it was yet another computer glitch. Instead, we got no call or email. Nothing!
If we had a signed contract, and you had so many opportunities to book another wedding, why were we receiving an email asking if we were still interested?
Additionally, to say that I became unresponsive and that you could only resort to leaving me voicemails is a blatant lie. You left ONE VOICEMAIL. As I said in my review, I couldn’t get to the phone that ONE time. It is absolutely unacceptable and completely unprofessional to say you were just too busy to get back to me and to lie and say I ignored all of your calls.
Is it really so hard to imagine and comprehend why we lost faith in your company and chose to not work with you? It was nothing but «glitches» since the minute we signed the contract with your company. I could not in good confidence go forward with the contract. The right thing to do would be to return the money. At the very least, a sizable portion, if not the whole thing.
Either way, you make out better in the end. You can continue on to book another wedding, will probably keep our money, and we’re the two left to find a new DJ 9 months from our wedding.

Daniel did a wonderful job DJing our Halloween party at The Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden! He knew just what the crowd (600 people!!) wanted and really got everyone up and dancing. He was extremely easy to work with and more than happy to help with the requests we had of him (such as announcing costume winners and even staying later than originally contracted for.) He really made the night for us! Thank you Daniel!

Preparing for a wedding is no easy task. There is so much to do, and so much to remember that one slip up could mean someone doesn’t get food. Food, and music are key to any wedding, and Daniel and his team are the top. From the beginning stages until that last song played Daniel was nothing but a professional. Still two months after the wedding the one thing brought up is the music, and how amazing it was. Daniel was not only my Dj, but my wedding planner, my day of therapist, and most of all a friend. I would recommend, and trust DLE to my closest family, and friends. I’ve known Daniel Linares for many years, and have been friends for that time. On my wedding day Daniel became family, and truly made the night soar beyond belief.

We booked DLE Event Group for our recent wedding in September. Daniel and his staff are a pleasure to work with. They are professional, personable and responsive! They offer a nice variety of DJ/​event options as well (performances, monograms, lighting, etc). We were pleased with the service we received from beginning to end! They also utilize a great app called Basecamp where all your DJ wedding services are planned and documented which you have access to ²⁴⁄₇. It was a great helping hand. We highly recommend this company. Do yourself a favor and book DLE for your event!

I’m usually not one to write reviews. However, the job that Daniel and his team provided was top notch and better than we could have ever imagined. My husband and I had our wedding at the Central Park Boathouse in late May and it definitely wouldn’t have been the same without Daniel. We have very type A personalities and wanted things to look, sound, and feel a certain way. Every ask was met and Daniel made sure that if we didn’t like something, he would change it until we were happy. He’s also extremely flexible which we appreciated especially up until the last days before the wedding. This was a gay wedding and Daniel never made us feel uncomfortable. He was very accommodating and only wanted the best for us.
Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how great the music was. And his emceeing skills are probably the best that I’ve seen at a wedding. He is fun and makes sure that the guests are entertained throughout the reception. And I’d like to add that he is not bad on the eyes. All the girls were fawning over him and (since it was a gay wedding), all the gay guys were fawning as well.
We HIGHLY recommend Daniel Linares and his team to perform and your event/​wedding. We also recommend choosing the uplighting as part of your package. It definitely transformed the entire room. You will not be disappointed. He is the best as what he does. EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING about the job that they did deserves five stars.

Do not contact any other DJs… Daniel will be hands down the BEST vendor you work with for your wedding process! To say he blew away our (and our guests’) expectations is a complete understatement. All we wanted for our May 9^th wedding was a fun dance party and with Daniel’s skills our dance floor was packed before people had a chance to sit and eat their salad. Our dinner wasn’t served until 11:15pm because our guests literally would not sit down– it was a completely epic dance party.
Daniel makes the planning process extremely simple and organized. He is available and patient the entire time which was greatly appreciated! Even though the direction and requests we gave him were somewhat scattered and lacked clear direction in the end he managed to read my mind and played every song I have ever loved dancing to and wanted to hear. With a crowd of 200 from age 20 to 90 with every music taste possible there was not a single person who didn’t get sweaty on the dance floor. To sum it up, multiple guests came up to me throughout the night and said things like:
«This DJ needs to be hired for every single event anyone has ever again»
«Where did you find this DJ? He is incredible»
«Im dripping sweat but can’t stop dancing»
and my favorite… «Ilana I just asked your DJ to play Mr. Sax-​o-​beat and he immediately said «nope, sorry Ilana doesn’t like that song» How do you not love a DJ who has your do-​not-​play list memorized?!? That’s how you keep a bride happy!
I could go on, but long story short just hire Daniel and make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes :) Thank you Daniel and DLE!!!

DLE Event group DJed our wedding July 2014 and people are still talking about how amazing they were! The entire process from start to finish was one of the easiest vendors we had with our wedding planning process and I would recommend them for anyone looking to have a great time at their event. The music was exactly what we wanted and kept the party going. It’s been almost 2 months since our wedding and people are still obsessing over what Daniel and his team brought to our wedding. He kept the party going, and according to our friends, they literally could not believe our wedding was over when the last song played. I don’t ever remember feeling that way at any other wedding, but keep in mind my bias.
Daniel’s professionalism, charisma and needs-​based approach to wedding hosting is all about you, and what you and your spouse-​to-​be want out of your wedding’s entertainment experience, and believe us, we always felt like our priorities were number one.
His collaborative approach kept my and my wife’s nerves at bay, so that come time for the wedding we were just able to sit back and take it all in /​dance our behinds off.
Daniel was extremely flexible when it came to scheduling our check-​in meetings with him, and he added structure to what could easily have been an overwhelming planning experience.
Outside of his amazing selection of dance music and other entertaining activities, he was our concierge for the night. During the wedding our location wedding coordinator was all over the place, but Daniel was with us every step of the way. He would check in with us about every 15 – 20 minutes to see how we were doing, if we needed anything, if we needed him to find somebody for us. Having Daniel there was truly a 5-​star, Ritz-​Carlton-​like experience.
We have already recommended three couples to him. I say with the utmost conviction that it would not be a waste of your time to give Daniel a call yourself, and see what he has to offer.

Daniel and his staff were hired for my Wedding in May 2015. He was absolutely amazing. In a wedding all you want is for everything to be perfect and he did just that. We worked together on the kind of music for my wedding. I did not want that traditional music i wanted something different and he was able to create that for me. My guest danced all night and even when our time was literally up at our venue, Daniel saw that the guests were still dancing, he continued to play music until everyone was gone. I could not thank him enough for making that night the best night of my life. He was amazing!!!

I don’t know where to start. Daniel was an absolute pleasure to work with during the entire wedding planning process. I was a bit worried that I was requesting way to many genres and was unsure of how things would turn out. One of my friends referred me to her DJ before I found Daniel and I am beyond pleased with my decision. I was on the dance floor the entire night sweating because I didn’t want to sit down. Every song that was played had everyone on their feet and I am not exaggerating when I say that everyone had a blast. I told Daniel that I wanted a club vibe and he delivered. I’m not sure why some brides are afraid to play «too much» hip hop during the reception but all of my guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. I highly highly highly recommend Daniel to DJ your wedding or other events. I wish I could get married all over again just to dance the night away. Daniel, thanks again for everything. DLE event group is more than what was expected! They did an excellent job at my wedding in March 2015 in NYC and I could not ask for anyone better to host it. All my friends and family of all ages had good reviews for the night!
Daniel was also very accommodating during the planning process (anyone who has planned a wedding knows how things change last minute). Daniel was extremely flexible and made sure my husband and I were comfortable at all times.

Daniel dj ed and sang at our 12÷31÷14 new years eve wedding. Our guests ranged from teenagers to senior citizens. Daniel played the right mix of music and kept everyone happy which kept everyone dancing. During the cocktail hour and at dinner, his talented assistant played acoustic guitar while Daniel sang. And at midnight, he was able to get a live feed from Times Square for the countdown. Daniel has great energy and a very nice persona. He was a pleasure to work with.

Thank you for your wonderful service! We hired Daniel for our wedding a week ago and he is great at what he does. Prior to our event, we were given access to Basecamp for project management. We can upload our ideas for our wedding in Basecamp and can modify it whenever we need to. My husband & I were happy of the turn out. Daniel really delivered the service we are expecting. He is dressed appropriately for the event and really professional in DJ/​Emceeing. He keeps the party alive, excellent live performance, and the timing of each of the songs are on point. I heard plenty of positive feedback from friends & family about our DJ. I strongly recommend DLE Event Group for all your event needs!

OK I want to start by saying I don’t write reviews but when it comes to DLE event group i really had no choice. They did an amazing job. My Wife and I married on ⁹⁄₁₂ and it will be a day we will remember forever why because of our entertainment. Daniel and Al were the trendsetters at our party and had our party rocking from beginning to end. His editing of our photo montage was superb and made our audience laugh and cry. They truly are a top notch crew and deserve every penny asked for because from top to bottom this is an organized and we run DJ service. I will be contacting DLE for any future even personal and corporate because i know that when i hire them i am hiring excellence.

Daniel and his staff provided the music and slideshow for our wedding and did an amazing and professional job. From our first interactions, to our planning details and the final few days, Daniel was extremely responsive and easy to work with. He helped with advice and suggestions and handled every situation with aplomb.
His music was AWESOME! He started things off with energy and kept the party going, from start to finish. All of our guests were raving about his mixing and music selection, and we had a wonderful wedding because of his involvement.

Daniel was actually our second DJ. Our first DJ was so absolutely horrendous and never responded to anything we sent him, that we finally gave up and were going to suck it up and use an ipod for our wedding reception. Luckily, friends and family came to the rescue and found us Daniel! Within a day, Daniel had contacted us and invited us to a shared Basecamp website where he made sure we had lists of requested songs, songs for the important dances, introductions, and even songs not to play! He even managed to sneak in some musical theater numbers for me during our dinner!
Definitely worth it — great set up, super easy to get in contact with him, amenable to all types of music, and very on top of his game! I would recommend to anyone!

Daniel did an amazing job for our wedding on ⁷⁄₁₃ at the Queens County Farm Museum. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process and everyone came away from the wedding having a great time.
There are two important aspects to a wedding, the music and the food. We were very fortunate to have Daniel on our side as the DJ, and anyone looking for a true professional should look no further.

It’s tough writing a review about a DJ because to really understand the review the right way, you need to experience the DJ first hand. And this is EXACTLY what you need to do for your next party!
It also starts when you meet up with Daniel to discuss the details of your party. He is very professional and doesn’t make it feel like a business ordeal. His personality makes you feel comfortable right away.
Then comes the party. We used Daniel for our Engagement Party. We gave him a list of songs and genres that we’d like to hear, and he delivered in every way. His flow was perfect, and nothing ever seemed to be out of place. That’s what everyone looks for in a DJ and Daniel fits the bill very well!
I can’t really say much more other than this: do not pass up the opportunity to have Daniel be your party’s DJ. He is great from start to finish and will make your event worthwhile!!!
