We had our 13 windows and 3 doors (one front entry, one french door, and one patio sliding door) replaced by this company and we had a pretty good experience. They are very, very professional and responsive– the owner herself came out to inspect the job twice– They were done with the whole job in 4 days total. We had an issue in that the original quote did not work with our home structure and we had to spend extra $$ to get it to look right, but they were very accommodating and wanted us to be happy and compensated as much as they could– we appreciated the effort and felt the customer service was top notch due to their efforts to rectify unforeseen issues. Honestly, as we enjoy the look and comfort of our Anlin Windows, and enjoy the numerous compliments of how they make our home so modern, we have nothing but praise for them. They even came out and replaced a few window handles that were smudged (that we didn’t even notice or complain about) without any prompting from us. We had to wait for the doors a little– but it is definitely all worth the wait. Molly is a sweetheart and we enjoyed meeting with her. Marcelo really knows what he’s doing and you feel comfortable with all the workman in your home– they cleaned up daily and we were impressed with how they respected our home. We hope you will give Window Factory a chance if you are looking for new, quality, double-​pane windows and/​or doors in your home.

Very terrible customer service… we were quoted for one price and Molly was going to try and see if she could get us a better deal. She said she was going to call us back the next day, no call for 2 days. So I decided to call back and she told me the price that she gave me could not be honored, that her computer was not updated with prices so the price skyrocketed over a thousand bucks… so I ask her if they can honor it and she said no, very bad service given we were quoted a price that she gave. I wouldn’t want to do business here given they did nothing to honor what we were quoted on.

We asked these folks to contact us to arrange for a quote through the web site of the BBB, explaining we needed two windows replaced. Never received a response. When we called we were told they have a four window minimum, so apparently they ignored our request because we weren’t a big enough customer for them. How hard would it have been for them to simply send an email explaining this? Samuel Johnson said «The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.» These folks fail that test. If you want to deal with decent people., keep this in mind.

I had two large picture windows replaced in San Anselmo last week. The windows (Milgard) were very good quality and the fit was great! Everyone from the estimator to the office staff to the installers was very courteous and very professional. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Jaclyn and Marcelo are the best. Marcelo came out 10 years after I had the windows and sliders installed and went above and beyond to take care of some things related to aging and the original installation. I recommend them for their professionalism, expertise and friendliness.

Just to give an update. The windows were installed in the summer, before the rainy season. We are on a hill with picture windows that get the full brunt of wind and rain, and I didn’t want any leaks. Our neighbors had similar windows installed by another company, and experienced multiple leaks requiring two window installs. Needless to say, I was a bit concerned that we would experience the same fate. Well, after two big storms, the windows have held up very well. Two-​thumbs up.

Window Factory definitely stands behind its product and makes a special effort to be sure that its customers are satisfied. We had a small problem long after the replacement windows were installed and they remedied it quickly. Dominick, the service technician, was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and polite. We cannot recommend this business highly enough and would use them again.

we had 11 windows changed out yesterday from single pane clear glass to the Anlin
3 E windows. I can’t believe what a difference it makes… already!!! yesterday and today are quite hot and the front of our hot is usually very hot… I didn’t even have to close the shades! the team is efficient, clean, did great work, showed up on time, and it only took one day to do the work. I would highly recommend Window Factory in Greenbrae!

After coming from the worst customer service from a landscaper I was really concerned about replacing my windows and door. But Window Factory restored my faith with their remarkable customer service thanks to Molly who went above and beyond — doing all the leg work to make sure permits were filed and measurement correct and Marcello and team who were fast, clean, hard-​working and did an amazing job. I love my new windows and instantly noticed a difference in noise and heat. The quality and match to the period of my home is wonderful — even the inspector commented on how nice they are. And the costs are so reasonable. I couldn’t be happier. I just wish they did kitchens!

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of windows from Anlin or the wonderful people we had the opportunity to work with at Bay Area Window Factory. We first met Molly at the Alameda Fair Grounds Home and Garden Show in the fall of 2013. We received 5 estimates from various window companies and they had the best quality window for the price we were willing to pay. All of the other companies we had come out for estimates had cheap looking vinyl windows and screens. We paid a little extra for upgrades to the privacy glass and replacing a picture window with a double hung window, all worthwhile investments.
The crew that came out on the day of installation was short two men, but they managed to have everything done by the end of the day. We replaced 14 windows and 1 sliding glass door. The only thing I wished we had discussed in more detail was the new trim around the sliding glass door as they had to notch it out to fit by the fireplace mantel and kitchen counter. While the trim looks nice, the notching out job isn’t the best.
We couldn’t be happier with Molly, of all the people we talked to she made both my husband and me feel very comfortable with the whole process, procured the necessary permit, helped with the packet of information for the HOA, and met the building inspector at the end of the day to do the walk through.
Have already recommended them to several friends for estimates.

We are extremely pleased with our newly installed windows from the Window Factory in Greenbrae. The service was fantastic — I had called several other places and they all couldn’t come to my home for weeks. Molly from the Window Factory came to our house the same day — The Same Day! Who does that? — and gave me a quote that beat everyone else. The crew showed up on time, actually about 15 minutes early, and installed my windows on the day they said they would. They were fast, professional, clean and skilled. I would recommend this company very highly.

We had an estimate from another company that was unsatisfactory for our home in Corte Madera. The salesman was not knowledgable, had limited selection and was high pressure. We found the Window Factory and found all our needs met: patient and responsive owners in the showroom and a low key personable and knowledgeable saleswoman and installation supervisor. The windows are a beautiful quality and will certainly add to the value of the home. We already enjoy the difference in the ease of use and the insulation and reduced glare. A great experience! From beginning to end the entire process was faultless. Molly responded to my purchase inquiry. She was perfect, no high pressure sales pitch, no greif when I told her she was number two in my diligent contractor bid process.
At the end of the day the professional instaltion crew did a great job. I saved money and had the best sales, product and installation effort possible. I did my homework and It paid off. Molly and crew were perfect!

We’ve had Window Factory replace windows and doors in our house twice – in 2009 and again in 2013. In both cases the work was flawless, the crew was professional, and highly qualified. The customer service was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced.

We went to a home and garden show in Summer ’12 and ran into Window Factory. There were about 3 associates there and one of them (Molly) said that she would come out to our home and discuss options. When Molly came over she was prepared with all her booklets, samples, and sales pitch. We really didn’t consider it a sales pitch because talking with Molly was very comfortable and we were all so real with one another. We had 2 – 3 other window companies come by, but no one compared to our comfort level we had with Molly.
It took us 6 months to decide to replace the window. by this time it was Winter and we were feeling the coldness in the house with our current single pane windows. Marcel came by to do the final measurements and 2 weeks later all the windows (entire home of 16 windows) were installed. It took them 1 full work day.
When we got home to see the finished product, it totally made the house look brand new and gave it a modern character. We love it! It looks very clean (white trimmed) and it keeps the house warm now.
The people that helped us were Molly and Marcello, and all the other workmen. They were all great and respectful of the home. Highly recommend this company.
Ask for Molly when you call for an estimate — Molly has such a great personality and works really hard. We felt she went above and beyond for us.

This company replaced all of the windows in our 14 unit condo building. They had to deal with multiple owners (with multiple opinions!) and juggle lots of different schedules. They did all of that and more! The windows look great and getting it done was painless!
We’ve had lots of other work done in our building by other contractors and it is always so intrusive and noisy… these folks focused on the job with no drama! No loud music, no yelling, no swearing! Efficient and thorough. And lots of experience so they could give us good advice.
The people that helped us were Rachel, Jaclyn and Marcello. They were all great. Highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend the Window Factory.
We purchased an eichler which came with the original large trapezoid, single pane, untempered glass windows in the patio/​garden area. Having 2 children, replacing these windows with tempered glass was a first priority for us.
I interviewed 6 contractors for our project which included replacing the patio doors in the dining/​iving room area and master bedroom, replacing 5 other trapezoid windows facing the garden, installing a bedroom and closet window, and two other interior windows.
The sales person, Monique Eppers, was very professional and I felt very comfortable with her. The Window Factory’s bid was third lowest out of the six that I received and within $ 1,000 of the two other lowest bids.
I decided to go with the Window Factory because I liked the Anlin window brand the best. Reason being that the quality of the vinyl seemed to be better than the others I had looked at.
When it came time for the installation, the crew of 4 workers — lead by Marcelo & Dominic — were great. They came in and finished the job in 3 days just as they said they would. The quality and craftsmanship were outstanding. And I’m 100% pleased with the final outcome.
One word of advice — Before the final installation, have your sales person double check all of the worker’s final measurements before construction begins. This will ensure that all of the work discussed with the sales person will be done according to what you order. Sometimes a miscommunication can happen in between when you meet the sales person and when the work crew comes to your home to do the final measurements before construction begins.

The Window Factory just replaced 8 windows and one sliding door in my house. They did a wonderful job. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows or glass doors.
First my experience started with a pleasant lady who answered my phone call. She scheduled an appointment with their sales lady to come to my home. A very lovely lady named Monique showed up. She was very knowledgeable about their products. We walked through the home and she was able to give me an excellent price on the spot.
The owner ordered the windows and applied for the permit. In two weeks a fabulous installer (and cute too!) named Marcello showed up with an excellent crew who literally installed all eight windows and the slider in 3 hours. Their crew kept the work site clean at all times and were very respectful.
All in all we are thrilled with our new windows. We love The Window Factory service, employees and owners. We give them a bug 5 stars! They deserve it.
If you need new windows, have these guys bid your job. You will not regret it. Plus they are a small local business who has been around for years. It’s great to support small business!

Everyone at the Window Factory is great! After receiving several estimates for new windows, WF proved to beat everyone else’s estimates and was the leader in customer service and kindness. Right when we were looking into getting new windows, my hubs and I found out that we were (and still are) expecting our first child, which led us to all kinds of apprehension and worry about how and whether or not to pay for house projects or save, etc.
WF worked with us and we decided to split the job in half, completing 3 windows right away and finishing the job at a later date (once we’ve paid off the first job). Everyone was really nice and really professional. Rachel was awesome in answering all my annoying questions and ensuring that we got the best price and no interest financing. During delivery, the Anlin delivery guy (not WF) dropped our patio window, making a small crack in the corner and within hours a new window was on its way and a day or two later, Dominic was at our house, swapping out the patio doors.
We love our new windows and despise the ones that have yet to be replaced. We cannot pay off the first job fast enough! We will definitely be returning to Window Factory to finish our window replacement and we will not hesitate to refer our friends. In fact, we already have!
