Oahu Photo Booths

I highly highly recommend Oahu Photo Booths/​Matt. We used his services for my son’s 1^st birthday party today.
The entire booking/​payment/​scheduling/​actual event went incredibly smoothly. Matt is very friendly and responded to my emails in a timely manner. Booking is done online and there is a discount if you pay in full up front when you book.
I was also able to customize my background for the photos no additional cost.
The Party Cube photobooth was a hit, especially with the kids.
Set up and take down was very fast, he was ready to go at the designated time.
What I really really like about using Matt and Oahu Photo Booths is that he was happy to print out MULTIPLE COPIES of the photos so that each person in the photo can get one, WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COSTS. It was always a bummer when I took photos at parties with family and friends, and there was only one photo given to all of us. That was a huge selling point for me and the guests definitely appreciated that and took advantage.
There is a very nice selection of props – hats, signs (which I believe Matt makes himself) and funny items. They appeared clean and in good condition. And they WERE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, another big plus in my eyes.
Matt was also super friendly with the guests, many times adjusting the camera so it focused on the guests or centered on them. He knew when to use chairs to prop up the kids in the photos and made funny faces to get the babies to look at the camera. Extremely easy to work with and efficient at his job.
The prices are competitive.
I would definitely use them again, worked out very well.

All we can say is THANK YOU!!! to Matt and Oahu Photobooths. It truly made our wedding celebration into something special. Matt was easy to work with from the beginning and quite professional. On the day of our wedding, he brought an upgraded Photo Booth at no extra cost to us and his box of props puts other photo booths to shame. Everyone at the wedding had a great time using the props, taking photos and the scrapbook option that we decided with Matt ended up being one of our most treasured memories from the wedding. Guests wrote messages and drew pictures in addition to the photo book pictures to make the scrapbook unique and complete! Thanks again Matt. Much Aloha.

THE BEST PHOTO-​BOOTH COMPANY to have at your event!!!
I searched and searched on Unilocal for a photo booth company to have at my wedding. I called and spoke to Matt for prices. Since this was a last minute add on to have at our wedding it took my husband and I about a week to decide on if we wanted to have a photo booth for our guests or not. We finally decided to have one and we are so thankful that we found Matt!!! The price was reasonable and worth it. After placing our deposit Matt set up a Skype call with us to work together on a layout that we wanted (he listened to our wants and offered his suggestions as well). The process was fun, easy, and customized to exactly how we wanted.
Fast forward to August 8^th, 2015, Matt set up the photo booth at our wedding reception (Dukes Waikiki) ON TIME and QUICKLY!!! He was present the entire time of my wedding and was so nice to all my guests. During our reception (which was outdoors), we had some tropical rain. The photo booth glitched a few times (due to the rain hitting his equipment), Matt kept calm and assisted my guests every single time. Everyone was able to take as many photos as they wanted and grab as many copies as they wanted. A copy of each photo that was taken on our wedding was kept aside to be placed in our scrapbook where our guests were able to leave us a little note/​wish.
The turn around for the microchip and the scrapbook with all the photos taken was QUICK and the location for pick up was easy to find.

I didn’t hire Oahu Photo Booths for an event, but i was at an event that they were at. I can’t say enough good things about these guys. The prints were amazing, unlimited, and they were very friendly

I hired Oahu Photo Booths for my 2^nd wedding reception. I have to say that Matt made the whole process very painless. During the setup, Matt was very responsive in answering all of my concerns and providing us the correct templates for the photo layout. On the day of the event, Matt was early and setup the photo booth way ahead of the schedule. Although the computer crashed a couple of time, Matt made it up by staying additional time to more than make up for the lost time. I would totally recommend Matt for your photo booth needs as the price is hard to beat and the service and product is just as good if not better than way more expensive photo booths in Hawaii.

I’m being very careful to whom I dole out my very limited and exclusive five star reviews so my lower star reviews have a much credibility as they deserve too.
The owner of Oahu Photo Booths became a vendor for our LUX at The TRUMP Events where he has always under promised to over deliver! EVERY TIME I get tons of compliments, not just on his hand made exquisite high-​tech user friendly equipment, granted… but the compliments on his and his staff’s personal customer service which I can only describe in one word: EXEMPLARY.
Rarely do we find creative professionals with such attention to detail, customer service, fine art photographic prints… but with a level of professionalism to show up early, stay late, do impeccable accounting, paired with unparalleled customer service which in our hospitality industry needs to be beyond reproach… which is what Matt and his team delivery 100% of the time. Sure this could be just the first time we worked with this company, but guess what? We have invited Matt and his Oahu Photo Booth company back to every subsequent event and only have missed out on working with Matt when we waited to late and he was already booked with his multiple teams and duplicative high-​tech equipment.

I got married in May 2014 and was looking for a wedding photo booth vendor. After looking through various companies, I finally decided on Matt from Oahu Photo Booth to be our vendor.
First of all, they have very competitive prices which are all inclusive — no hidden or nasty surprises that included backdrops, props, unlimited printing and USB stick. You can even customize your own photo layout and Matt can help you with the design.
Secondly, Matt was very friendly and interacted with our guests whilst remaining professional and making sure the photo booths were operating properly (no down time) and photos were printed for the guests to take home.
The photo booths were a blast to our wedding guests — they had a lot of fun taking crazy fun photos and that was truly important to us! I even managed to lose my USB stick (after a night of partying) and he kindly offered to upload the photos online so I was able to download them — free of charge.
I cannot recommend Oahu Photo Booths enough for your wedding event and would highly recommend you to use them as your vendor, or at least have a chat with Matt first. I would not hesitate to use them again!

This photo booth experience is like no other! Prices are competitive (beats most others), great fun and clean props, customized layouts for the pic prints, backdrops, ability to print more than one pic for couples and/​or group shots, text and post pics to social media onsite, hands on staff, etc…
The owner, Matt is very knowledgable, energetic, creative and a great photographer. He interacts with the customers unlike so many other photo booth owners that just stand by while you figure everything out for yourself. Matt will refocus the camera and/​or help with positioning to accommodate each set of participants that step into the booth. He has donated his services to many non-​profit events! This is part of what sets him apart from the rest. The end product is professional, quality pictures with his creative customization of the layouts, and a perfect memory keepsake of your event!
If you are going to spend the money to have a photo booth at your event, you want to make sure the experience will be a great one! You don’t want these little strips of photos some booths produce, nor do you want dirty, boring props (or none at all) and on top of that an owner that just bought the booth as a package from some company and does not interact with the participants. Matt built his booths himself and was able to customize his entire set up! As a photographer myself I wouldn’t normally never use photo booth. After attending a LUX party this opinion quickly has changed. The quality of the photos and service that I received, was nothing less then VIP treatment. Looks like I be hiring them for my next party. Great job you guys

We used Matt and Oahu Photo Booths for one of our fundraising events and it was a HUGE hit!!! Not only were attendees able to leave our event with a nice token to remember the event by, but they also enjoyed dressing up and taking the photos throughout the event. Matt made everything so easy for us and ran the booth the entire evening. Matt also did a great job helping me design the backdrop for the photo and was very professional. He made it fun for our attendees and we plan to use Oahu Photo Booths for all of our future events!!!

Matt was awesome! He was there early to set up, stayed to help guests, let me design my own custom layout for the prints, and the best part? My guests were all able to print (as many copies as you like so everyone in the group gets one!), upload to Facebook, email to themselves, or even text it to themselves! So many options! They loved the photo booth with the modern features! He also gave me a thumb drive with the all of the images taken that day! Absolutely amazing! I’d use him again in a heartbeat!

The company I work for has used Oahu Photos Booths for multiple events and Customers only have great things to say! Using the photo booth created a celebratory environment, where everyone couldn’t help but jump in the booth and smile! On each occasion the service received has been professional, accomodating to our needs and FUN!
As part of the services received you are able to customize the layout of your photo prints, including number of photos on each print, size and color of the background bordering the photos. You can even add a few written words to highlight your celebration! The booth used is great too. You can text your print to your friends, post directly to social media, and/​or print it out to take with you. Matt brings playful props to help your guests celebrate! Having options to customize the photo and booth to fit your needs and makes it possible to use the event for any occasion!

I’m sure you have seen many photo booths available at events. I think I have seen 3 to 5 different ones. This one is top of the line. Prices are comparable to other photo booth companies. Awesome option for graduation parties, birthday parties, or other events. Great service. Great customer service. Staff is willing to work with you to create and customize a template for your photos (can have logos, pictures, different fonts, multiple pictures, etc). I’ve seen some companies limit how much photos you can take at an event. One company limited you to only one photo per family. Oahu Photo Booths allow you to take as many as you want!
Depending on the location/​space of your party, you may have a 5′ x 5′ red booth available. A red background is available but you can check with staff to see if other color options are available. Privacy is available so that others do not watch as you take photos (We decided to have it 3 sided since it could get hot inside there). Bright lighting if event is indoors. Comes with a variety of props (more props than some other companies). They have props like most photo booths have (big glasses, feather boas, and hats) but also have clown noses, picture frames, and fake mustaches. Can fit 4 people comfortably or 8 people squeezed together.
One of the cool things is that it is touch screen meaning you can begin it when you want to. Countdown tells you when your picture will be taken. Screen shows what your pictures will look like. Another cool thing is that once you are finished taking pictures, you can print multiple copies of photos (like many people do) OR you can have the photos texted to your phone, shared on Facebook, or sent to your email. Having these choices are pretty cool.
Is it worth it? I say yes. After all, I would not write a long review if I did not think they were so good. So if you are looking to hire a company to do photo booths for your event, I would recommend these guys.
