Hayes Heating & Cooling is a small family owned business here in Kent, WA. Since 1978, we have served the residents of King County. Tim & Linda are nearing retirement age and their son Kirtan Hayes will soon be taking over. He is prolific and versatile in his knowledge of HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning).

Mike E. has been with us for over 20 years and has a vast knowledge of the rules & regulations governing our business.

Ask any of our customers, Ricky Lee is one of our star techs. You are not going to meet a more likeable, congenial professional anywhere else.

Hayes Heating stands apart from the average heating & air conditioning business. We not only are experienced in service, repair and installation of gas furnaces but have no difficulty in servicing and installing water heaters, in particular tankless water heaters, heat pumps, air conditioning, gas fireplaces and last but not least, boilers.

Don’t worry about the brand name of the system or the type of system; we can repair it, service it and install it.

History

Established in 1978.

Tim & Linda Hayes moved from Virginia with their 6 & 1 year old in 1978. Tim sold solar heating installations for several years in Virginia before moving to the Northwest and was already a committed conservationist.

His Parents, Ret. Colonel Jack W & Margee Hayes, let Tim & family stay with them as they got established in the Seattle area.

Tim started out selling solar out of Jack & Margee’s basement. When the tax credits for solar expired, Tim looked for a new way to help families with their heating needs and still promote energy conservation.

He started cleaning & servicing furnaces to make them more energy efficient. He worked on oil, gas & electric and quickly expanded to repairs and installations.

Today Hayes Heating & Cooling works on all brands, models and types of heating systems. We are proud to say that we have helped thousands of families in the greater Seattle area to save energy, money and the environment.

Meet the Manager

Kirtan H.

Manager

Kirtan is currently in his late 30’s and is the son of Tim & Linda Hayes. This young man has been working with Hayes Heating since he was 13 years old. His Dad actually pulled him out of school once to work; much to his Mother’s chagrin.

Kirtan Hayes is currently the manager of Hayes Heating and is positioned to become owner in the next few years. If you ever need help on your boiler, tankless water heater or any other type of heating & cooling system, call on Kirtan Hayes. He is a good natured man that will always treat you right.
