Louis and Rav are a class act! Not only do they do exceptional work, they also do it for a more than reasonable price. They replaced my timing belt, thermostat and water pump for a price 40% less than the dealership. That day was a good day :) Thank you.

Really had a good experience with these guys. They came right out and fixed the electrical on my brake lights. Took them a total of 100 minutes. 5 days later the lights weren’t working again, they came out right away and fixed the problem no questions asked. No hassle. No rudeness. Reliable. Kind. I only took 1 star off because their pricing for labor is way higher than most places. They charged 170 (after the 25 dollar discount, and no parts were needed… the whole thing was a service fee). Pretty high.

I just can’t express how happy I was with the services that I received from Autonovation Mobile Auto Repair… Luis is the BEST… Being from out of town and wanting to purchase a used car from the LA area I turned to Unilocal to find someone to perform a car diagnostic. So glad I did! Luis was very professional… he set up the appointment with the seller very quickly, did a thorough inspection on the car, sent me pictures and gave me his honest opinion of the car. After Luis’s report I could confidently fly down and purchase the car. I was impressed with the service that I received and at a most affordable price. It’s too bad that you’ll doesn’t have six stars these guys deserve that this is the second time I’ve used them and if needed I would definitely with no hesitation use them at 3^rd time. Very good communication with the customer. Fast accurate quality work. Highly satisfied a second time highly recommend!
The first time I use them it was for engine related problems. Which is partially electrical I have no complaints highly satisfied that use them a second time. The second time I use them for bodywork purposes highly satisfied no complaints

I second the other reviews here: Luis IS really amazing. We were about to make a private party used car purchase on a Sunday. We were running on a tight schedule and had to be back in San Diego by a certain time. No shops were open so we tried mobile mechanics. Luis agreed to come out at 8:45am Sunday morning to do a full inspection/​diagnostic and help us decide if its a worthy purchase. We travelled from far and misjudged our ETA, we realized we actually be there earlier than expected. I called Luis from the road at 7:20am thinking I’d just get a machine. Instead, I rudely woke him up, but he happily took the call and agreed to come out a half hour early. That was incredibly helpful for us. He arrived exactly on time and came prepared with a clipboard pen and paper to take notes about the car for us. He spoke perfect English and Spanish. He wrote down the proper maintenance after throughly checking everything (even the cd player.) He walked me through everything and took me on the test drive explaining what to look for. He was straight forward and told us that he truly felt the car was reliable and a good purchase. He also saved us a major mistake by throughly reading through the title and noticing that the person who’s name was on it did not sign the release for the sale (and he was not present!) That person happened to be on the way back to San Diego, but I can’t imagine having driven all the to SD and then realizing we need to drive back. Thanks Luis! You were comprehensive, professional, punctual, honest, patient, and most of all sincere. THE BEST PART OF ALL… HIS RATES ARE EXTREMELY GOOD. As a matter of fact I gave him more than he asked because I felt he deserved it. Thanks Luis. The car is working great– we are so happy with our purchase.

Today was the first time I used this service. I have to say I was totally pleased with Luis’ professionalism and his work. He was quick and very reasonable. Luis talked me through each and every step and took the time to answer all my questions. I am recommending his service to all of my friends.

Luis and helper arrived on time, we’re very helpful and honest. I appreciate all they did and maybe saved me a lot of money. My brakes wouldn’t bleed. It was a challenge but they got them to bleed. Thank you.

Luis was QUITE NICE! He came when promised, did a great job (faster than I expected) and didnt mind when I asked questions relating to the how-​tos of the job.
He told me the part he was going to put in (name brand) so that I was able to verify the quality of it before he arrived. In the future, when I need minor car repairs I’ll definitely give him a call!

Luis is the man if you need quick, highly reliable, and through auto repair or assistance. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and diligence in help me bring a 1966 Chevy Caprice back to life. Forget the others — he’ll do it right the first time and for an extremely reasonable charge.

I tried to replace my rear shock since I thought I was mechanically inclined, and well lets just say things went south after attempting this job. I called Autonovation and they came out and fixed it within one hour! If you are looking for a mobile auto repair service call Autonovation! Happy customer!

I had a car problem where my car wouldn’t turn on at all. It wasn’t an alternator problem, it wasn’t the starter, it wasn’t a short circuit, and it wasn’t a bad battery (O’Reilly’s checked it 2 times and it was a good cell). Something was draining my car battery and I suspected it was a ignition switch. I called Autonovation with crossed fingers, hoping to get good service after seeing their ad on CL. The mechanic, Luis, was helpful and polite. When I told him my problem and asked what’s the quote, he said he would call back. He did and told me the quote, and for all I know, it was reasonably priced compared to the parts + labor that auto shops charge (I got a quote from an auto shop in downtown Covina for $ 300+, WTF). Let’s just say, Autonovation pretty much charged a little under half of what I would’ve paid at a auto shop! Crazy!
So when Luis came, he inspected my car, jump started, ran through his database, and whatnot. As it turned out, it wasn’t an ignition problem. It turned out to be a light from my trunk that was draining my battery. My trunk was messed up in an rear car accident back in ’10 so overtime, I have been slamming my trunk and it simply left the trunk light on as it drove in deeper.
In the end, I paid significantly less than the $ 150 – 180 I would’ve imagined and saved quite alot. He said call him back if problems arise again and he would do it for free. And I also got the $ 50 for $ 75 certificate bonus for future services (Extra $ 25 credit). You can’t beat that!
Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to shell out so much money at an auto shop or those who want conveniency in a mobile mechanic.
