I specialize in providing a «home away from home» for your dog, dog walking and traveling dog boarding! Your dog will be like one of the family with 24 hour supervision, low ratio of 2 — 3 dogs per me, and all are required to be friendly, up to date on shots, and flea free. If Fido tends to be a one owner/​one dog dog, they are welcome (with stepped up supervision). With over 40 years of dog experience (including basic training), and well into my fourth year providing professional care for dogs (cats too!) I am pleased to offer many excellent references (upon request). My focus is always safety first, with an excellent exercise program, reduced rates (ask me about them) and of course plenty of belly rubs, behind the ear scratches and under the chin tickles!

History

Established in 2011.

It began as a way to earn extra income and meet my desire to spend time with dogs. As my business grew, I was able to transition to a full time, professional dog boarder and walker within 8 months. I have met many wonderful dog owners and their dogs and I enjoy my work tremendously. As an animal lover (particularly dogs), exercise enthusiast and «nature girl», I have found the job that is just right for me.

I am a (semi) retired teacher who now enjoys working with dogs. As a little girl, I have always loved animals (especially dogs) and I come from a multi-​generational family of animal lovers (especially dogs). I have experience with basic training, and strive to provide a «home away from home» environment for your dog. With a substantial list of recommendations and referrals, and many loyal «return friends» I enjoy the ability to offer an alternative to the kennel experience. With regular (twice daily) nature trail walks, play time with other friendly dogs, and a choice of lounge areas when an afternoon nap is in order, your dog will be very well cared for as a «temporary» four legged, furry family member.
