History

Established in 2014.

After several years of working in different industries and pet sitting for friends on the side, we’ve decided to found Paws on PDX LLC in order to follow our passion and focus on providing high quality pet care services.

I’m a pet lover who is driven to bring my compassion, attention to detail and calm nature to pet care. I feel that pet ownership is an incredible experience and responsibility. After growing up with a dog and pet sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation, I knew that I wanted animals to be a part of my life in some way. When I moved to Portland, I had the opportunity to work in public accounting and corporate finance, where I learned the importance of providing exceptional client service. During this time, my husband and I’d pet sit for friends when needed, which I loved and found very motivating. After raising our own dog and caring for others, I began to understand how important daily walks are for a dog’s health, behavior and happiness. Life pulls us in many directions each day. With Paws on PDX LLC, my focus is to help you ensure your pets are getting the exercise and attention that they need. We will care for your pets as you would, and no detail is ever too small!
