Manhattan Automotive

OK, so it was snowing like crazy this morning and I drove over to the West Side to do some errands and my car overheated. I called AAA but the garage they assigned to tow me had only one truck working and it was out towing a car near JFK. Great. I cautiously drove up to the 96^th Street Mobil gas station, leaving the car on 95^th Street because the road was blocked off. At the station I asked if someone could walk down my car and put some coolant in, and was told no. But they gave me the number for Dani, who works for Manhattan Automotive and as luck would have it he was in the neighborhood. He picked me up in his tow truck, drove me to the car, took a look at it, drove me back to the Mobil station where I bought some coolant, back to the car, put the coolant in, refused any money and I started toward home. Only a few blocks later the car overheated again, so I called Dani again. He came right away and towed me home. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. I plan to take my car to my regular mechanic on Monday, but will call Manhattan Automotive for an estimate, once I know what’ wrong.
