I purchased luxury vinyl tile from Jocelyn and could not have been happier with the product, price and service. They have a large selection of flooring and Jocelyn was helpful throughout the entire process. The store gets busy on weekends though so best time to go would be on a weekday.

Joshlin is very knowledgeable and helpful. I visited the store couple of times to decide On a floor and each time I was greeted with the same smile and enthusiasm and all questions were answered… They carry wide variety of laminate and hardwood to choose from and the prices are reasonable… sometimes they run specials on some good ones too and I ended up buying it… Thx joshlin!

We had a very positive experience working with Jocelyn. We loved the engineered hard wood floors we got for the project at our home in Sunnyvale. we were referred to see her by our contractor Suren for Sweet Hardwood Floors. They work very well together.
We ordered months in advance of our project and then gave her only 2 week to get the floors when we finally got the ok from the inspectors we did not have to do foundation work. She got us the floors in time to acclimate and we had very little left over.
Even after the install she was responsive to my calls about the cleaning instructions.
The store seems small but it had quite the variety and I felt less overwhelmed.
The store is located very conveniently just off 237 but its got a small store front so its a bit easy to miss. But do not let that be a deterrent.

I enjoyed working with Jocelyn! She had a great attitude and excellent communication. She gave good advice and ideas. She worked to fit the budget we had laid out for her. I have a tough schedule and she was very accommodating. She coordinated with Suren, the flooring contractor, which saved time for me.
End result: the flooring looked great after the installation and it was a very smooth process.

I went to this place after reading all of these reviews and ordered the wood on 8÷7÷15 Saturday with the confirmation that material would be supplied on Monday and engaged the contractor accordingly. But now its Wed day and do not know the status of supply. The shop opens only closer to lunch time — 11 AM which is again a big constraint. I had limited my selection to be with in ex stock to ensure to get it in time but still have to wait.- but the handyman not able to wait, my experience the supplier is not committed to the delivery.

I moved into a place in San Jose last year.
Of course after having several allergy attacks, i decided to change my flooring immediately.
Among so many hardwood/​flooring companies around the area, I could not decide which place to visit. so I decided to search on Unilocal and went to Dianne for the first time.
Like many others mentioned previously,
Dianne is very clear and direct in delivering her message, never overselling, and very nice with proper manner for her customers.
She told me she has lots of local contractors conncted to help me out with my case of flooring. Although I ended of doing floor myself (my dad’s a contractor himself too) but I deeply appreciate her suggestion (s) of help :)
what impressed me the most was that she txted me out of her office hours. I do not know if she is the owner or not, but still– It was more than thoughtful of her to take her personal time to process things faster for me.
(I did not have much time to install flooring stuff and I just need to make decision efficiently.)
I bought 42 boxes of Rich Pewter Laminates from her including the blue mats.
Never happier than ever.

This place has everything you need to get your home upgraded to hardwood. Dianne is knowledgeable, and can cover all your options. She helped me hone in on the exact right hardwood for my place, even though I was there multiple visits to narrow it down, she helped every time. The selection is great, the prices are excellent, and they make it very easy to choose them as the source for hardwood floors. Can’t speak highly enough of their selection, and customer service. Dianne at Home Elements Supply is just AMAZING. I searched throughout the peninsula and south bay for hardwood floors. It was a very daunting experience, but Dianne made the process enjoyable. Once I finally found the floor I wanted (Johnson Hardwood — Maple Whiskey) Dianne was able to quickly get me a quote and she was by far the lowest quote on any product that I asked her about. She really does have the best prices, she’s extremely friendly, and explains things very well.

Great spot to pick up hardwood floors. Purchased Acacia walnut hand scraped, excellent price and I shopped around. Dianne knows her stuff about hardwood flooring materials. Customer service was excellent including follow up on delivery and installation referral. All in all, HES met and exceeded all my expectations.

Very happy about the service I received from Dianne! She was knowledgeable about the products and I did not feel any pressure to purchase. She even helped me get into contact with a contractor.
I was on a hunt for affordable laminate floors for a little less than 500 sq ft of space. In addition, I was also on an extremely tight time crunch. I was able to purchase, receive my floors, & install the wood in a span of less than 1 week! Thanks Dianne for the help and advice! I am very happy with how everything turned out! Will definitely come here again!
On another note, I love supporting small businesses, especially one that is a woman operated one.

We had the best customer service experience at Home Elements when we were remodeling our place. We visited at least 10 different shops to evaluate flooring but were ‘floored’ by the excellent service by Jocelyn.
The greeting upon entering the store is warm and sincere. No hard sell but they don’t ignore you. Excellent technical advice. They listen to your requirements and then suggest the best match, even if it’s cheaper than what you were originally considering. And once you decide to order, they deliver on their promise.

So I came in and even though they were busy, they greeted me and explained to me everything I really needed to know about laminate flooring, which was so helpful!

Let me start from the start. I went hunting for laminate flooring across San Jose one day and seriously some shops do not even give a damn if you walk into the shop forget even asking what I was looking for. Most businesses I visited had no interest in actually taking time to explain me how to even go about getting a new floor. This was the first time ever I was doing this! I am a really easy customer I would have picked quickly. My contractor then recommended me this shop which I can tell you is not in the usual flooring shops area and one wonders how it is surviving. But the moment you step-​in you are so well taken care off! I read most of the comments that I have written and they are spot on about Dianne. She has like a big mental map about each customer and remembers every bit of tiny detail you tell her about what you want. She started from the very beginning with me explaining every bit of steps involved in buying a good laminate, ratings and usages. I had shown her a couple of pictures of the laminate I liked in the other stores and she showed me exactly what I would like and in my price range. She even went ahead and somehow got the same exact laminate which I had told her I liked very much at another store. The other store didn’t even bother telling me much about it so I had left. She gave me the best rate I could get anywhere else. She even helped me order more boxes last minute which would have otherwise jeopardized the work. I could click pictures and show it to you guys but that’s not what this comment is about, its about the comfort and satisfaction you get when you walk into the store and the way you are treated. If I am going to spend thousands of dollars this is where I would be shopping next for flooring!!!

I’ll try to keep this short, yet these ladies (owners) truly deserve big kudos & praises for being one of the best business owners we have ever worked with (not just in flooring). They care about ALL aspects of the customer’s needs; pricing, budget, convenience, efficiency, color matching & communication. All the great attributes to retain royal customers (even big corporations should take note of their hardworking efforts & learn from them). Our project was kind of a mess with a lot of moving pieces: not only did we need laminate flooring planks for our downstairs, but we needed matching stair planks too. Along with matching stair nose, transition piece & etc. (I learned so much about floors from these ladies because DiAnne guided me & answered all my rookie questions through our whole project). She showed me quality difference between oversea & domestic manufactures. I actually was going to order from a family contractor out in Concord due to better pricing, but DiAnne price matched and saved me on shipping too. She told me, «what can I do to earn your business.» What an effort!
She made billing very clean & helpful to keep track of all the things we bought, in-​transit & «maybes».
They deserve 5 stars from me because nothing went wrong with our 5 – 6 separate orders & shopping experience. She even met me in the middle of the East Bay to hand me some of my pieces, as Milpitas is bit far from the project. What a team!

What a difference from another place I went to purchase laminate flooring. First of all, was greeted the minute I walked in. Then what I couldn’t believe is that the person who helped me (Dianne) really knew her flooring. She told me stuff that I wasn’t aware of. Also, she pretty well zeroed in to what I was looking for and keyed in fast to my likes and dislikes (not an easy project). I will be working with Sweet Hardwood Floors (just got a really great estimate today) and I have this feeling it’s going to be a great review. I will write a review and my total experience once I have my floors installed. Gosh it’s so great to be treated the way you want to be treated. Why can’t other places be like this. Oh, maybe that’s why they get 5 stars.

Im glad i found this store from reading Unilocal reviews. I went to lumber liquidators and home depot and didnt find anything match my budget and quality. After reading the good reviews i decided to check out the store. This is a local shop and although not big they have a lot of selection from hardwood to laminate and good quality and price. Dianne is very helpful and making recommendation based on your needs and not pushy at all. I had to return the extra unopened boxes though they charge 25% restocking fee but i think its reasonable.
I will definitely recommend to my friends and clients.

And the service they give is truly genuine.
I was looking for some laminate for my home a few years back and Joslin went out of her way to help
Me. I kinda felt like I was buy from a friend rather then a store. Then a few weeks ago I had gone back to get some tile floors for my business and Diana was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products.
Not many places give you the help and assistance they will.

My husband and I must have gone to around 10 flooring shops around the area and then we found Home Elements– in our very neck of the woods and we are so glad we did!
Dianne was the most helpful salesperson EVER! Let me tell you, this woman knows her stuff :) From day 1 (even when she knew we may not purchase from her shop), she went out of her way to help us. She stayed after the closing time to answer questions for us and didn’t rush us one bit.
We also stopped in the shop and called her a number of times asking her all sorts of questions about quality of the material, ratings, pricing etc etc and she was well informed about pretty much everything.
Dianne also recommended our contractor– Suren from Sweet hardwood flooring, who did an amazing job installing in our home. Between her wood sale and the installation (even though from two different companies) it was a seamless process. She came with the contractor to drop off the wood for acclimation and made sure all was ordered and ready to go for the following week.
Post installation, both my husband and I got phone calls asking how everything went and asking if we had any questions or concerns, which in my mind is really going above and beyond.
I wouldn’t think twice about referring this small business to family and friends and would actually do so over some of the many bigger and more established shops around the area.
They really gave us personalized attention and worked with us to make us happy with our purchase and for that we are so grateful.
