I can not say enough wonderful words about BTL Dj’s. We were impressed from our first meeting with Enrique! BTL is very organized, and they really tailor the music your taste as a couple and the crowd at your wedding. We had a very intimate wedding, and we are so glad that we got BTL Dj’s. They really made the party and got everyone dancing, including the older folks. It has been a few months since our wedding and guests are still complimenting us on our fun Dj! We debated getting a band, and BTL Dj’s was more fun and interactive than any wedding band! We also loved that we got an mc, dj, and dancing guy to help the wedding run smoothly and to get the guests up and dancing. Let me start off with the pros. When we met with DJ Enrique a few months before our wedding, he gave us the impression that he knew what he was doing and helped us come up with a plan of how we wanted our wedding to flow. Being that this was the first wedding for my husband and I, we were unfamiliar with the fine details of planning our wedding music. On the day of our wedding, our wedding guests enjoyed themselves a lot and the music that was played. The songs that were selected and played on queue during our ceremony was perfect and made for very beautiful and memorable moments.
Now for the cons. Months before our wedding, my husband and I met with Enrique and we would continue to meet with Enrique up until our final meeting which was a few weeks before our wedding. During these meetings, we selected songs that we wanted played at certain times during the reception and as far as we knew, Enrique understood exactly the mood and important moments we wanted to have during our reception. Fast forward to the night of the reception when we were surprised to see that Enrique was not on the turntables. In fact, he wasn’t in the building at all. Instead we had DJ’s we’d never met with (and never spoke to during or after the wedding) and an MC we spoke to just minutes before the reception started. What this resulted in was speeches not being made because plans were not followed as discussed due to time running out, dinner music not being played (it was a party the moment we sat down and after the maid of honor and best man toasts and I specifically told Enrique I wanted R&B played) and songs not being played in the order specified. Not to mention some songs that were totally out of our taste.
Enrique did follow up to find out how our experience was at our wedding and was very understanding when I explained some of my issues with certain moments at our wedding. Though there were some errors, as I mentioned the guests had a great time and didn’t notice anything. Enrique insisted on fixing things and this lets me know that he values his clients both past and present. Since the deal was already done, he didn’t have to offer to fix anything but him offering proves that despite the few slips, this is a company you can rely on to ensure that you are satisfied with their work.
For couples considering hiring BTL DJs for their wedding, I strongly recommend you confirm that the people you meet with before your wedding are the individuals that will DJ/​MC your wedding and you may need to be prepared to be hands on.
All in all, they did a good job minus the slip ups.

Excellent service! Our family and friends raved about how great the music was and how excellent the services provided BTL DJs was. Our guests continuously tell us how much of a blast they had at our wedding! Our guests indicated that at no point they were bored as they have usually felt at times in other weddings. A lot had to do with Enrique’s (Owner and DJ) advice as far as where to include dance sets throughout the reception/​dinner hours. Vince (MC) was extremely personable and energetic. He made sure the guests were always involved in all the planned events. Enrique and Vince make a great team! They worked with the maitr’d to ensure everything went as planned and by the timeline. Our guests have continue to tell us how lively our MC was and how great the music was. BTL DJS did an excellent job all around. The gobo and up lighting setting were amazing! We highly recommend BTL DJS, the service provided was top notch, from preparation and planning to the end of the wedding. Enrique’s organization and planning was above and beyond our expectations. The planning forms he provides simplified the process which not only made it easier, but also less stressful, which I am sure everyone will agree it is a major plus.
Throughout the entire process of searching and meeting with other vendors, my wife and I often heard the phrase «we will do anything you want» and nothing else. This is where BTL DJS stood out from the pack. Though Enrique told us that he would gladly do and complete any of the requests we make, he also provided us with great advice and recommendations based on his experience on how to incorporate our ideas and things we wanted to see or hear. This allowed us to be very informed prior to making any decisions, which resulted in a wonderful night for not just us, but for all our guests.

We found Enrique and BTL DJS from friends of ours that were getting married. My fiancé and I have opposite schedules therefore; it was nice that Enrique was so accommodating to come to us. Enrique is the ultimate professional. In addition to the planning forms and song suggestions he provided, what truly impressed me was his understanding of how the DJ and all the other vendors have to work together. I hate when I go to weddings and I have to make a choice between eating or dancing. Enrique made sure that our timeline was in sync with the maître ‘d so the dance sets did not happen while people were being served. I also felt that Enrique listened to our music choices and was able to craft a playlist that was truly what we wanted. Vince, his MC was amazing at getting the crowd up and dancing and also kept everyone who was speaking informed and prepared. If you want to have a great, professional wedding DJ, call them now!

We hired BTL DJS for our wedding. We scheduled a meeting with Enrique. During the initial meeting, Enrique explained to us the packages that BTL DJS offers. He also provided us with guidelines on the event sequences of a wedding. He offered us help in case we couldn’t decide what music to play for certain events of the wedding. We used two weeks to figure out some of the music we specifically wanted and left most of music selections for Enrique to figure out for us. Enrique mentioned that he usually meet his client twice before the wedding but our timeframe was tight and thus we met once after the introductory meeting. Two weeks prior to the wedding, we met up with Enrique at a time/​location to our convenience. Enrique arrived on time for all of our meetings. We exchanged ideas on music and he helped us picked a lot of specific theme music and most importantly he made sure we approve his selections. During last minute, we decided we also wanted an MC. Enrique designated Vince for us. During the big day, Both Enrique and Vince arrived early to assure all set ups are in place. They coordinated with our wedding officiant and the venue staff. In a nutshell, Enrique and Vince had the dance floor filled throughout the night. My husband and I loved the music he played and a lot of guest also gave us positive feedbacks on the music. They just know when to play what. Vince also conducted the night well at the MC position. He made sure the planned events of the night happened smooth and on time according to our schedule. After viewing the recorded video of the wedding, the manager at the wedding studio we used asked my husband where we hired the DJ/​MC. She was impressed and wanted to recommend BTL DJS to her future clients. We greatly appreciate BTL DJS and highly recommend them.

I am really quite conflicted about the review — in some areas Enrique was really great. Our super eclectic group of guests (70+ yro NJ suburbians and 20-​something from Vegas) really loved most of the music and even asked for his contact info. More positives include being a backup for our ceremony and providing microphones. He also even played some music we added right after the last meeting. He traveled to us and was early EACH time. He brought a surprise friend/​MC (a bit nerve-​wrecking, because who the *uck are you, the person I have never seen in my life introducing us to our guests???), but that ended up being a plus, because everyone liked him?
Now for the reasons why I wasn’t sure if I couldn’t 100% not hesitate to give his info out… My BM told me he did not have the premade do not play list and she verbally reminded him what she could remember from the conversation with me! That explained why he played songs I specifically asked him not to play (blurred lines and gangnam style come to mind, but there were others). I continued on smiling, because what was I going to do? I did repeatedly gestured to cut one song off, because literally everyone stopped dancing, but he was ignoring me… Also, despite playing a very short clip and reassuring us that he had the right version of our first dance, he did not — had different beats, had to improvise, and add a move, because otherwise, we would’ve finished too early. We are not dancers at all and I got super stressed, but it was a sink-​or-​swim.
Overall, I think the positives overweigh the not-​so-​ideals. Now that I am removed enough from the situation to think about it more rationally, I would recommend the service — just be pro-​active to double check stuff ahead and designate someone to make sure he has the worksheet you guys make together. We had day-​of coordinators, but they might’ve gotten overwhelmed with other numerous tasks and didn’t get to it.

We were searching for affordable and reputable DJ’s and found him through this site. Enrique came right on time for our consultation. I swear he must’ve been waiting at the door and rang the bell as the clock turned. He was very professional and courteous. He asked many good questions to get to know more about us, our likes and dislikes. He even provided us with a timeline, like a wedding planner! His rates were reasonable. We met with him again prior to the event to sample music and confirm our selections. He was very easy to get along with and made us feel confident.
We were a little worried since the guests on my husbands side were very different from my side. On my side, we have Puertoricans, Dominicans and South Americans mostly. On my husbands side, Irish, Italian, Jewish. We wanted to include everyone and encourage as much dancing as possible. This was quite a delicate balance but Enrique managed to pull it off. His side of the family was on the dance floor as much as mine, even his mother and grandma had the time of their lives. People are still talking about it. They’ve never danced so much in their lives. Awesome music!

Incredible duo. They made our wedding evening complete with their energy, the karaōke they were flawlessly able to provide, and their talent. We had so much fun working with them and you should use them if you want to have the best wedding you can possibly have!

BTL DJS was great! I was so overwhelmed with planning every detail of the wedding but when it came time to meet with Enrique, he made the whole process easy regarding our music that night. He was great at reading our guests and knew exactly when to change up the music. We have quite an eclectic mix of friends and family from California, Texas, NYC, Miami and Chicago so getting everyone on the dance floor was quite the task. Enrique nailed it!
We still have friends a month later raving about our wedding and saying our DJ was awesome! I would recommend BTL DJs to anyone looking for a great DJ that doesn’t over charge you. His prices are great, his music is great and the MC? Great!!!

We loved the fantastic job Enrique did DJ’ing our wedding reception. We had ours aboard a large, private yacht cruising around Manhattan. He was professional with us from beginning to finish, was very reasonable and flexible (even gave us a great discount). His ability to mix in really great music and also play exactly what we wanted was a pleasant surprise especially because he included a great partner /​MC. I would definitely recommend him as he knows exactly what he is doing and will mot let you down!

We hired BTL for our wedding. This was the one thing my husband-​to-​be was in charge of and he knocked it out of the park! Of all of our vendors, they were my favorite to deal with. They were affordable, professional, friendly, and accommodating in every way. They thought of things I hadn’t even considered in terms of planning the flow of the wedding and it was a huge help. They also didn’t mind that I gave them a long list of music to play.

BTL DJS were awesome. My wife and I were so happy that we chose them to provide the music. Everything went perfect. Enrique followed the plan to T. He knew exactly how to play to the crowd, and did an amazing job switching up the music by playing to our diverse guests.
Enrique was extremely professional from our initial phone call to the last song of the night. On our first meeting we knew Enrique was the right DJ for us. He was so accommodating by listening to us, and feeding off our ideas. He was the total opposite of being pushy. He was so nice and pleasant to be around. We met with Enrique three times before our wedding day. He was always on time, and always excited to see us. BTL DJS was a great choice for our wedding. Enrique was very thorough in his planning and you could tell he really cares about doing a good job and making the night special. We also had a very specific request for our processional song and he was able to mix it together to create a unique and awesome entrance.
The actual party was great. He played the songs we requested and played additional music that was aligned to our tastes. People had a blast dancing and many told us how great the DJ was. One couple actually hired BTL DJS to do their wedding after hearing them at our wedding. In addition, Enrique threw in a few additional bonuses on the day of the wedding for no additional charge. Definitely a great experience.

We hired BTL Djs for our wedding and I could not be happier with our choice. Enrique was very helpful throughout the planning process and checked in on me a couple of times to ask how everything was going.
I completely deferred to Enrique when it came to the music selection (other than telling him that we like top 40s and dance music), and he had the dance floor PACKED the whole entire reception. Other than about 10 minutes where people sat down for cake and coffee, 90% of my guests were up and dancing the whole time.
After the reception, several of my guests came up to me to tell me how great our DJ was.
BTL DJS were truly fantastic, reasonably priced and made my wedding a HUGE success. I would highly recommend.
