Wine and Liquor Store

History

Established in 1998.

Ninth Avenue Vintner, located in the heart of Manhattan’s bustling Hell’s Kitchen. Our family-owned wine and spirits shop opened its doors a little more than ten years ago where the late great Jack’s Shoe Center sold countless Buster Browns to generations of Westside children and their hard-working parents. The old world charm of the warm wood shelving and rolling ladders still remains. Our customers can come in and browse our inventory for themselves or just shoot the oenological breeze with our knowledgeable staff.

We are passionate about wine and personally choose the wines we sell – always on the lookout for amazing items across all price points and categories. You’ll find local, boutique and lesser-known wines here, in addition to everyday labels (after all, big corporate wineries are not the only ones able to make an exceptionally good wine at a fair price.) We like to think that ours is a friendly neighborhood wine shop in one of the friendliest neighborhoods in New York City.
