Small wine/​beer and cheese bar. Always some unique beers and nice cheese plates. Nice weather offers some open air tables. The place is not fancy, but a good stop in Hells Kitchen.

Great sandwich/​wine/​beer spot that had me at $ 5 prosecco! I got «The Uncle» panini and it was just fantastic. Prosecco was awesome too. Steve is such a cool guy and know a lot about a lot. It was a great, random, unplanned visit and I’ll be back again in the near future.
Also a great beer selection here and you can get packs to go. I highly recommend stopping in. It’s casual, it’s fun, sandwiches are fantastic and they hook up the roast beef here in house!

Such a spectacular hole in the wall with a diverse beer selection, knowledgable staff, and kicky cheesy goodness! Don’t miss the blue d’avergne, the aged Gouda, and the bucheron. So glad that we walked in here!

Ordered a cheese and meat plate with my husband and we were in food heaven. They have great meats and cheese. Their fig jam was also good. Great selection of beer too. The employees were kind and welcoming.

food is terrible. It is pretty basic stuff and it was just really badly done and the ppl who work there are incredibly rude. I just told them my sandwich didn’t have cheese on it and I ordered there cheese and I was told tough shi’t basically. was really bizarre experience.
Told a coworker about it and said he tried delivery catering and it was terrible. They deliver pretty bad and old sandwiches. In short don’t eat the food and don’t do delivery. Really bad deal

Solely here to talk about the amazing craft beer selection. Those prices, oh my, especially for this area, oh my. 9 dollar bottle of Goose Island Bourbon Barrel… what? Even with the 2 dollar charge I’ve heard if for drinking there, that is way less than most other places.
I won’t speak of the food as I didn’t have but those beer prices… uhhh…WHAT?
Also, for their wine/​spirits store next door, nice selection of bourbon/​whiskey. I also asked they guy if they had Amarula (a South African Butterscotch flavored cream liqueur (you know you want it from that description) and they noted they’d be getting more of it soon. I don’t know of places that sell this stuff and i am quite happy this place does.

Excellent 12 – 7 happy hour with $ 3 wine/​beer and friendly efficient service.
They also make beautiful panini! I have to confess that I wasn’t really hungry so I didn’t order one, but here as a pic to make you want to come try their panini. I DEFINITELY will be back to EAT. If I had one criticism, it would be that I’d like them to offer a half size for, say 60% of the full panino price.

Used to love this place — not sure what happened here! Stopped in this evening to pick up some prosciutto and cheese for my dear Nonna who lives nearby. When I went to order, as I normally do, the person working behind the counter explained to me that he «could not do deli meat now because all of the people in the restaurant had sat down for dinner, and they were waiting to be served». Having worked in a restaurant I understand things get stressful when several people come in at once, but what I don’t understand is turning away business regardless of how busy you are. I was planning on ordering about $ 30 worth of goods, and only wanted a pound of prosciutto along with one kind of cheese from the deli area. Didn’t realize that would have literally stopped operations! Really disappointed, and hope they get some additional help to aid during busy times.

This place is EXCELLENT for Cheese/​Bread. i was looking for a real cheese shop and not a «do everything» place. Vintner Wine Market is the place to pick a baguette and some cheese for a light snack. Cheese is fresh and fairly priced. Bread is fresh and TASTY. Go next door to get a nice bottle of wine and you’re set.
Coming from the theatre disrict which is all TOURISTS, this is only a quick walk down 47^th and is a great find!

Sometimes, you’ve only got 45 minutes to sit, eat, and run to a show in the neighborhood, but you don’t want to sacrifice quality for a fast meal. Read: I would love to go to OBAO, but I don’t want to go to McDonalds! (Ha!) In comes Vintner Wine Market to save the day!
This place is akin to, say, Astoria Beer & Cheese over in Queens. There are a few cozy tables to sit at while being surrounded by gorgeously stocked refrigerators full of beers, ciders, and wines. The menu is a cheese and meat lovers dream, with various cheese plates, sandwiches, and paninis being offered. I got The Uncle panini, with roast beed, red onions, smoked gouda, and a mild chipotle aioli. The beau got their cold roast beef sandwich with cheddar cheese. Both were phenomenal, served on crusty Sullivan Street Bakery bread.
Drinks from the fridges can be consumed on site with a small reasonable corkage fee: $ 2 for small bottles and $ 4 for larger bottles. I can’t speak for the wine corkage fees, but I can only assume they are as reasonable. Pro Tip: The beau and I got two cans of cider, one of the only things in the fridge in a can, and the corkage fee was waived. That’s fair, in my opinion, as there was nothing to uncork! Haha. (I know many view corkage fees, in general, as punitive, but… whatever…) In addition, you can make your own six-​packs from the fridges, to which a 10% overall discount is applied. Fantastic!
This will definitely be my «I need a quick yet quality meal» when I’m in this neighborhood. I’ve been more than won over.

Bought a mix-​pack of beer to take home. Selection was small but well curated, reminded me of a smaller Louisville Beer Store. Will have to come back and try the food at some point!

Spanish panini with chorizo, manchego and quince was good but took at least 15 minutes to receive. Nice selection of beers in the front and meats, cheeses and snacks in the back.
There is a $ 2 corking fee for drinking on the premises which I found bizarre. Just charge a flat fee and I’ll drink my beer wherever I want to.*
*within legal limits of course…

Great friendly staff, fair prices bottles. and great whiskey selection! The place next door (never know which is which), has a GREAT beer selection although the staff (and customers) can be a bit precious with their personal space. I mean, it’s pretty dang small!

Oh the Vintner. Your sandwiches are divine. Your beer selection is impeccable.
BUT WHY ARE YOU CHARGING A CORKING FEE???
We have been going to the Vintner for more than a year now. They have awesome sandwiches, great beer, (and wine too) they have cheese, glorious cheese. It seemed the Vintner would be our go-​to place forever.
Alas, we went into the Vintner just this week, and discovered that if you want to grab a bottle of beer and drink it IN THE RESTAURANT with your delicious sandwich or your divine cheese, they are now charging TWO DOLLARS just to open your beer. So the average bottle of beer at the Vintner is about $ 3 and they are tacking on an extra $ 2 JUST TO OPEN YOUR BEER.
Shame on you Vintner.

My friend and I walked in on a hot summer July 4^th for some beers. The selection first of all is killer. Being a beer geek (snob), this really packs a really incredibly large, but also quality selection, with a few rare beers here and there.
The great thing are the marble tables in the front and back. We ordered some beers and accidentally got the wrong beer. Thankfully, it wasn’t poured out and the server (possibly the owner) was nice enough to let us keep it. By the way, we had four of the best beers in the world with three versions of Bourbon County Brand Stout and Bruey Bois.
They also seemed to have an interesting food menu. I’m actually unsure if you can drink bottles here because almost all the beers are fridged, which is perfect. If they did, that would knock this place out of the water.
Still, great beers on tap, a lovely place to just sit down and have some food.
