Sean’s Carpet Care

My carpets are JUST LIKE NEW! I couldn’t believe it! He is so funny and professional. It only took a few hours and the price was fair. My carpet is seriously so clean. He took care of everything while I was at work, I paid over the phone, and came home to amazing floors. Spotless.

Things Sean removed from our carpet:
–Soot
–Mascara
–Dried paint
–Coffee
–Baby pee
–Paw prints
–Random pink sparkly stuff from the people who lived here five years ago, that other carpet cleaners never touched…
He was easy to work with, on time, and poured his heart into his work. I’ll definitely be calling him again once the paw prints, coffee drips, and other assorted nasties become intolerable.

We had been postponing the inevitable — replacing about 1,000 sq ft of our old, dirty, worn out near white carpet with money we didn’t have. Suddenly, we found ourselves with an unexpected guest coming to stay with us. With limited time to spare we needed help in making our carpets somewhat presentable. Sean arrived with enthusiasm, focus and the right tools for the job. When he completed the labor intensive task of cleaning our carpets he had brought them back to what they looked like when we moved into our brand new house 13 years ago. I know saying, «our carpets sparkled» doesn’t make much sense, but I swear that’s what I see each time I look down our hall. Exceptional customer service. Exceptional end result.

It is difficult to know what kind of service you might receive from a carpet cleaner until they finish; however, he did such a great job on our carpets that I will use him again and I highly recommend him. Thank you Sean being so professional and doing such an outstanding job.

I already left a review, however, I feel compelled to do an update since the carpet was still wet when I wrote the first one. Sometimes carpets look great until it’s completely dried. Well, it’s two days later and seriously the carpets looks brand new. ALL the stubborn spots are completely gone. Our stairs wad the most problematic area and I am thrilled with the results. I had them done with another company and they did a horrible job. I can not praise Sean enough.

How have I not written this review before? Sean rocks. His customer service and chill personaility rock. His work rocks. He’s cheaper than everyone else. He is just him so only one person is accountable in the end. I wouldnt want to use anyone else. And after I get my carpets clean again very soon, I will surely edit this to include another 5star rating!

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet for this amazing business! Sean has come out to my home twice. Once for an unfortunate case of doggy indigestion (i’m sure I don’t have to be explicit) and once just to make things nice for a family gathering. Both times he was on time and extremely friendly and ready to work and went as fast as possible although he can only go so fast while doing his job well. Trust me you don’t want to rush the man because the results are phenomenal. I am having him come out again soon to do more carpet and all my tile and I have no doubts that will be 5 star work as well. Please support this man you won’t regret it.

Sean did an amazing job on the carpet in my rental home. I have extremely bad allergies, and can be a germaphobe at times. Sean came in on time, explained everything to me, looked at and even SMELLED the carpet (gross Sean)!!
We discussed the fee upfront, so I knew exactly what to expect. Sean is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He knows his stuff, and I will definitely be calling again to have him do the upstairs! Thank you much Sean :)

Sean is not only personable but provides superior cleaning on our carpets every time! He is on our list as the best of the best and would not consider using anyone’s else’s services for carpet cleaning. Professional service, always on time and cares about carpets and his customers.

I called Sean when another company failed to show up (that’s in another review later). He was patient listening to what I needed. Sean has a great attitude and was a pleasure to work with. He showed up on time as promised, and the actual final cost was lower than he quoted based on the square footage I gave him. His work was stellar and professional, taking extra care to do a great job. My property manager was very impressed with his thoroughness and finished product. He called when he was done, took my credit card over the phone and I was instantly emailed my receipt. Now my carpets are as good as new, and fresh smelling too! I just moved to Portland and needed to find a carpet cleaner with a solid reputation to get my new home looking top notch. Luckily Sean came highly recommended. He knows carpets, his prices are very reasonable, he showed up on time and didn’t leave until he was satisfied my carpet looked great. As we chatted, he recounted many stories of customers who were in despair about their carpets which he somehow managed to bring back to life. If you want someone to clean your carpets who is reliable, honest and does a great job, Sean is the person you need to contact.

Professional and thorough. The man knows his trade. He’s very knowledgable about cleaning and the science behind stains. Sean has the portable equipment needed to service high rises. He’s fully recommended.

I called Sean because of the reviews, and it turned out they are right. He spent lots of time explaining everything about carpets and their cleaning, and he is knowledgeable. He was friendly, informative and really did a Great Job. My carpets had not been cleaned for 4 years, and they are light colored. I feel like my whole house is much cleaner. and he gave me advice on spot cleaning, etc. A very Nice Man. It was fun having him, too.

Sometimes delivering the best service is when you don’t do the job. Sean came to my house and inspected my carpet, which has been the battlefield arena of the decade long Great Cat Pissing Wars as well as the scene of my very old dog’s shameful secret. After inspecting every room and explaining the process completely and thoroughly, he advised me that cleaning the carpets properly would be prohibitively expensive and doing it improperly would make the situation worse (and even more smelly). His concern for my best outcome was amazing. He could have just come in and done the job and taken my money and ran, but he didn’t. He didn’t clean my carpets but he did a fabulous job. Thanks, Sean!!!

I emailed Sean, he responded with a quote, arrived while I was at work, called me to get my credit card info once he was done then emailed me the receipt. LESS then what was quoted! I arrived at my empty apartment, ready to turn it back over to the landlord, and I could not have been more confident that the deposit was ALL coming back to me.
I air high five’d him when my deposit came back. Great service and by far the most painless experience I’ve had in recent memory. This is one carpet cleaner that doesn’t take *YOU* to the cleaners! sorry couldn’t resist…

Sean is the man! He was on-​time, courteous (always put on booties before entering the house), and did a fantastic job spiffing up our carpets and bathroom grout.
He’s super friendly and shared great tips regarding follow-​up care.
Note: Sean’s a one man shop, so isn’t likely to answer the phone when you call, but he was really prompt calling me back.

We hired Sean for a few things, stretching, patching, cleaning and tacking down a few areas. Sean did an amazing job for a great low price. Our carpet looks and feels new again. Sean is extremely thorough and will do the job right the first time… even if it means more work for him. We will definitely hire him for all our future carpet needs. Sean does a great job! A little spendy but SOOO worth it! We tried to go the cheap way out when we moved out of our townhouse (why get the good stuff if you can’t enjoy it yourself right?) and it was no Sean that is for sure! Ok, so I’m going to try to write this review without sounding like an infomercial… But I can’t help it! When I moved into my rental home, the owner had told me that the carpets had been shampooed but they looked pretty dirty. Being a little OCD I knew the entire 2^nd floor needed to be cleaned, I knew I wanted someone who would do the job right, but I didn’t want to be broke afterwards. I called Stanley Steamer, and I don’t want to pick on another carpet company, but I was shocked at all of the extra charges for perfume etc, (my 1^st thought being that if the carpet was cleaned then perfume would be unnecessary). I was also surprised that in Portland they wanted to soak my carpets during the winter without using any fans to help with the drying process? As someone with asthma I was really concerned about mold. I decided to call Sean’s Carpet Care; he did an amazing job on cleaning my carpets and was nice enough to clean my daughter’s chair at no extra cost. He really took his time and you could tell he knew what he was doing and was really determined to do a great job. And the coolest thing about it was my carpet was soft and not crunchy and stiff, (which is what I had experienced with other carpet cleaners.) This guy knew so much about carpet, he explained that the owner of my rental did shampoo the carpet, but if it’s not done properly basically all of the dirt from beneath the carpet rises to the surface after time… I recommend him to everyone I know!
